I tried the week free at the Redondo location and deicded that I’d buy a month long package bc it was highly discounted. I usually went to the MB location. I needed a change of pace and these class type were newish to me. I’ve been working out all of my life, but I can say for certain, in doing one month of their barre class (I used to be a competitive dancer) I went from no knee issues in my life, to having two surgeries within 3 months of ending my 30 day membership. Barre class destroyed both knees. I am now on crutches for 6 weeks. I once saw one of their instructors outside on the gym and mentioned to her how I was going in for knee surgery due to barre class and she said, no joke, «if you notice, I only teach the class, I don’t DO the class. Barre is terrible for your knees!» My jaw almost hit the floor. After two surgeries, months of PT, tons of different drugs, I still have over a month until I can attempt to walk again… then 6 more weeks of PT to only hope I’m at least half as good as before I was when I joined. And the worst part about the situation… I have to do it all over again on my other leg. Would not recommend. Majority of instructors, not all, never corrected me whatsoever. Like I mentioned before, I have never had knee problems in my life prior to coming to Fit On.

I can’t say enough about our local spin studio Fit on! I race road bikes the spin classes really help with the cross training (specially when it rains! I have never taken TK ‘s class, I was told he is to animated! Never listen to people check out his class! He puts 150% into the class! His energy and play list are on point!

I’ve never taken barre classes before but having been bored with other spin classes, I have to say… taking the 30⁄30 with Natalie H. was so much fun! She’s so sweet and personable and really cares about giving you a great workout but also getting to know you. She takes her time to talk to you, and delivers a kick ass workout!

Love this place! Here’s why:
Indoor cycling — Taught by knowledgable, certified instructors that demonstrate great form on a bike. Each instructor has their own style– all are fun– and most importantly, motivating.
Barre — Had never taken a barre class before coming to fiton. Again, I have to call out the professionally trained instructors. Makes such a difference, I don’t have to worry about doing it wrong. They correct your form and motivate you too. Special call out to Deirdre. The best.
Front desk staff is friendly. That is motivating for me too! A happy greeting and a complimentary fresh towel starts you off on the right pedal! This studio is owner operated, and you can tell! They care.
Ok, so there is one call out I have to make– the cycling studio needs to update the number of look cleats (red) on the bikes. Fit On attracts a solid core of loyal cyclists. Need some help here.

I love Fit On! I’m very proud to be a long time client! I’m a local ocean lifeguard. So staying in shape is not only important for my health, but also important to continue to do my job (that I love!). I love to come to fit on because I always EARN a great workout.
All the spin instructors are motivating, challenging, and are able to mix in all their unique personalities. It’s hard to pick my favorites but here’s some of my suggestions/​tips.
Lisa Austin: It’s obvious she’s a world class trainer/​athlete. Amazing!
Chrissy Roth: reserve in advance! Her class fills up! Chrissy plays fun music videos. From the current new stuff to Run DMC.
Micheal: get ready to climb!
Jennie, Angela, and Nikki play my favorite music. So motivating and FUN.
I also like to Barre. At work I sit in a directors chair. The chairs can sometimes cause tightness and even discomfort in my lower back. Barre has helped me to improve improve my posture and strengthen my core. My back doesn’t bother me anymore. Barre also keeps those tough spots (ie arms, thighs.) nice and toned. The instructors are clearly all well trained. They are very attentive to make sure my body position is correct. So I get a great workout, and protecting my joints. My favorites are Franca, Jennifer, and Katie!

What a fantastic studio! I started coming because it was close to my house and has a huge (free) parking lot. The reasons I continue to go are because of the extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic staff. If you’re having a bad morning you can count on the energy of this place to turn that all around. Each instructor puts their own spin on their classes which I like because there are many studios in the South Bay that seem so uniformed and regimented. Each class is a little different so I don’t plateau in my workouts. This is not your everyday impersonal studio with the same playlists and broken down bikes. I’m there 4⁄5 times a week and don’t hear the same music over and over again. That’s important to me. They rock it better than every place I’ve tried out in the South Bay. Oh and they have free towel service! Bonus! Because I used to forget mine everyday:) The all class pass is the way to go so you can try the barre, circuit training and the spin. They now have 30⁄30 classes that also kick my butt! You will not be disappointed!

Bad music; depending on instructor can range from ok to absolutely terrible. Hanson during spin? really? 70’s music during barre class? Doesn’t work for me, but probably caters to their older clientele (40’s-50’s) Most of their instructors are older as well so that may explain the musical choices.
Not a fan of most of the instructors. Many of them seem disinterested.
No water dispenser to fill your water bottle.
I think I’ve given this studio a fair assessment. I’ve been to 6 different classes here with 6 different instructors and never had a great experience.

If I could give more stars I would. From the Front Desk staff to the instructors to the inviting ambient smell in the lobby, Fit On is a great experience through and through. I have never felt more comfortable and welcomed at a fitness studio. The energy is always positive and engaging. I haven’t tried all the teachers yet but I wanted to offer a big shout-​out to one amazing instructor: PK. He has an encouraging, dynamic, and motivational technique that keeps you wanting more. I recommend his class whole-​heartedly.

This is hands down the worst spinning class I’ve been to in my life. Honestly it’s a reach to even call it ‘spinning,’ it’s more like sitting on a bike by yourself at the gym.
1) No shoes available, even for a fee. Luckily I happened to bring sneakers, otherwise I wouldn’t have even been able to go to the class.
2) No water fountain to fill up water bottle
3) TERRIBLE music, like the worst I’ve ever experienced in a class and not synced to tempo of the ride
4) The instructor was not motivating at all
The only redeeming factor was that the bikes do show your RPMs and and watts, which allows you to see how hard you’re going.

How come there are so many good reviews for this studio? I went for the first time several weeks ago — it was terrible. I went again this week to check out a different instructor — it was terrible. The instructor must have forgotten he was suppose to be teaching… He was more interested in singing along to his music and making jokes. I wanted to walk out 10 minutes into the class but I was hoping it would get better. It didn’t.
I give Fit On props for one thing. Consistency. Consistently bad.

Been coming here for three weeks and I love it. This place is super friendly and clean. The spin classes in the afternoon are not too crowded and parking has never been a problem. The music is good and the instructors are top notch. I easily burn 600 – 900 per class. This place is going to pave the road to my weight loss. They also sell fresh meals in a box.

Great studio owned and operated by locals Michael and Franca Stadvec and Angela Bennett, who are also amazing instructors. They have pulled together the best instructors, have great, clean, and airy workout spaces and are completely welcoming (not always the case for some reason with gyms and studios). As a road cyclist, I love popping in for a class when it’s rainy, dark, or I just kind find the time to get out on the road.

I have only been to Fit On a couple of times but am really impressed with the studio. I used to spin at Revolution Fitness in Santa Monica but have moved to the South Bay and am trying new studios. Fit On is really clean, the bikes are new and set up in rows like YAS. Angela’s class is great, fast paced, high energy. Chrissy didn’t have a play list and kept changing music during class. The class times don’t always work with my schedule but I hope to keep going.

Love, Love, Love this studio! I always get an amazing work out and leave feeling happy and super satisfied. The instructors are very skilled and super enthusiastic. The works outs are challenging yet fun. I’ve taken the barre classes, spin and the 30⁄30 combination class multiple times. Fit ON is fantastic and it’s a place I love to return to over and over. The energy in the studio is contagious. Its the best place to work out in the South Bay!

I bought a 10 pack Groupon and I’ve been taking the cycling classes for little over a month. I didn’t think I could handle anything else until I tried Marie’s 30⁄30 cycling & TRX tonight, and now I’m DEFINITELY hooked. I’m going to be purchasing a session package just so that I can continue going back to her. First of all, my face was unfamiliar to her and she did not hesitate to come up to me and introduce herself as soon as she saw me. She asked me if I had any injuries, walked me into the room, and taught me how to properly set up my bike. Turns out I’d been doing it wrong this whole time! During class, she watched me closely to make sure I had proper form and was using my muscles correctly to avoid any injuries. AND after class, she immediately asked me how I liked it and checked to make sure I was okay.
I’m dripping in sweat and I feel amazing. Needless to say, I’ll be going back tomorrow night :)
I topped off my workout with a 100% LOCALLY GROWN ORGANIC JUICE from FORMU+LA Pilates + Juice next door. They also have great protein shakes. A little Fit On and some juicin’ is a perfect way to end a long day.

I’ve been going to this studio since it opened. It’s very convenient because you can sign-​up for class on-​line, and there’s parking on-​site. Every instructor I’ve had has their own flair for keeping me interested for the duration of class. It’s all about the music when you’re taking Spin, and they all have great play lists. are motivating to boot!
FitOn is extremely clean, personable staff, and offers a variety of classes (Spin, TRX, Barre) so I never get bored!

One word, AMAZING! I started coming to Fit On since Jan ’11. I have always been active and had missed spin since I moved to the Southbay. I started out taking a few classes a week and now I go to 5 – 6 classes per week (sometime 2 classes back to back). The level of instructors is every consistent and I have even branched out to TRX and Barre. I have brought many friends of all skill levels with me to try this place out and all of the ones that live nearby have become regular customers.
There are so many great instructors there, but my favorites for new beginners are Angela and Kristen. For more advanced riders Kim is amazing and Chrissy and Dawn are also quite challenging. For TRX, Marie has been my favorite and she is also great with beginners.
This place is perfect for anyone who wants a challenging workout.
