Elder Steve DDS

Dr Elders has been my dentist for eight years. Never had a problem. Did all my fillings, and they are doing just fine. Recommended.

I’ve been going to Dr. Elder for over 10 years. Even after I moved out of the South Bay and into the valley, I still kept going. He has always been very straight forward and given me excellent dental care. In 10 years, I have never had a bad experience. Years ago, I had an accident where several of my front teeth were cracked and bone fractured as well. My mouth was a bloody mess and he literally found a way to save my teeth. I am still amazed and grateful to this day. I also have had receding gums since I was little and hate going to the dentist due to gum sensitivity. He staff have always been great and take great care to minimize my discomfort. Through his care I have gone from having to have injections/​anesthesia just to get my teeth cleaned to now just needing a bit of topical spray to minimize the pain during cleaning.

DR ELDER is Great. He is a very good Dentist. My friend was playing volleyball and had his front teeth knocked out ! Yes, knocked out ! He called Dr. Elder on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON and rushed over to Manhattan Beach.
He kept the teeth under his tongue and his friends drove.
Dr. Elder not only came on his day off he was able to REATTACH THE TOOTH.
To this day my friend has his own front teeth.
Dr. Elder is a very capable dentist and a straight shooter. He doesn’t BS you or tries to sell you crap you don’t need.
I trust him completely !!

do NOT go to him. he really screwed up my root canal, left me in a tremendous amount of pain, over 20 xrays, got very mean and mad during the procedure, couldn’t finish it then made me wait 2 weeks to go back just to sit in the chair for an hour while he stuck me with files, over and over again. i still am having problems with what he did back in AUG, it still hurts daily. BEWARE — STAY AWAY.

Everyone there is very friendly and helpful and they’ve never tried to push me into anything I didn’t need. I’ve been going there since he opened and thanks to their helpful advice I haven’t had a cavity since. Even though he’s not part of my dental insurance group and costs extra it’s definitely worth it for the level of dental care they provide.

I have been going to Dr. Elder for years. He is an honest guy and tells you like it is. Never tries to up sell you or push you into unnecessary procedures like some area dentist. He is great and I highly recommend him to anyone. His staff is wonderful too, very professional and thorough.

I work for a dentist in northern california, so when I was on vacation in Manhattan Beach and had an emergency, I was very apprehensive to go to a different dentist; but, Dr. Elder was so friendly and gentle, that I soon overcame my fear. He is very down to earth and explains things very well! I would definetly go back if I lived down there.

I liked Dr. Elder and his staff when I used to go there. My only complaint is that he referred me to the meanest periodontist ever.
