I left a message online about my husband’s infected toe and someone from the office called me first thing this morning. Although they were fully booked, they worked us in this morning. We were seen immediately and both Kelly and the doctor were so kind. My husband has had ingrown toenails removed before but no one has done it so painlessly and thoroughly. This is the third podiatrist he has been to and we will search no longer! Dr Costopoulos was very highly recommended by our family doc, now I know why!

Dr. Costopoulos and his staff are superb. I had an ingrown toenail that developed an infection overnight (I know, gross). I called and even though they were completely booked, they squeezed me in because they did not want me to go through the weekend and risk the infection getting worse. I was in and out in about half an hour. No pain, he and his staff were extremely friendly. Took care of the nail and infection. He was completely open and honest with the options I had; did not try to force costly procedures or approaches. No reason to look anywhere else if you need a podiatrist.

I have been looking for a good Padiatrist for a while and I’m so happy to have gone to this office. I’m extremely selective with my doctors and Dr. Mark Costipoulos immediately figured out my foot issues. I read many of the feedback on here and I’m grateful for the honest postings. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. Dr. Costipoulos is definitely knowledgeable in his field. He listens, and acts immediately to help you. I’m lucky to say that I’m feeling much better after my visit visit.

I was able to run pain free for the first time this morning. This is significant for me, because for years, I couldn’t run without various parts of my feet or legs hurting. I had seen three other podiatrists over the years and they all prescribed orthotics and surgery (which I never agreed to) for my bunions, Morton’s toe and flat arches. My orthotics never felt right, so I hadn’t worn them and my feet got worse.
After developing pain on my ball of foot, I saw Dr. C, who patiently listened to my history and goals. I didn’t want to purchase new orthotics and he didn’t push them at all. He offered a number of non-​surgical options to try, and to my surprise, modified the orthotics I had bought from another doctor. He was so careful to make sure they fit correctly and spent a lot of time explaining everything to me. He even told me to break them in, and if they didn’t work, he would modify them further.
Dr. C is one of those rare doctors that go over and beyond for their patients and I highly recommend him to anyone who is having problems with their feet. The office staff is great too!

This office is incredibly well run, they are organized.
The staff is friendly.
The doctor is very good, careful in explaining things, and takes plenty of time with you.
And he made me perfect orthopedic inserts for my shoes that solved the problem of the incredible pain I was in, in both of my feet.

Amazing service! I called in complaining about my big toe because it was in pain. I wasn’t too sure what was going on but it seemed to be a ingrown toenail. I told them it was an emergency and if it was possible to squeeze me in since each step was very painful and I had just started my day at work. I was quickly greeted with a smile upon arrival, sat inside the room and waited no more than 10 minutes from my initial phone call to have dr. Mark examine me. During my 10 minute wait they also made sure I was comfortable I was brought some water and a tiny snack. Totally unexpected service it was much appreciated. Anyways turns out I did have a ingrown toenail it was my first one ever and hopefully my last it was super painful. Dr. Mark made the procudure the least painful process possible. I went in Thursday and was ready to play soccer by Sunday. Thank you again for being prompt and providing great service.

Dr. Costopoulos is truly incredible at what he does and was able to treat my ingrown toenail in an incredibly timely and kind manner. I was only visiting the Hermosa Beach area so the fact his office was able to fit me in same day was fantastic. I recommend and respect him to the highest regard and his service is second to none.

Dr. Costopoulos and his staff are amazing. I had an ingrown toenail and I was leaving in a few days to climb a seven summit mountain. Dr. Costopoulos and his staff provided excellent service. Dr. Costopoulos calmed me down and assured me all would be well if I followed the aftercare instructions. Sure enough, all is well and I am on my way to climb a mountain! kind. His office staff works hard to accommodate my scheduling needs and Dr. Costopoulos has been amazing in treating my chronic foot issues. He is my permanent podiatrist… I have no need (any longer) to look any further.

Fantastic! I phoned this morning begging for an emergency appointment and the wonderful office staff figured out a way to help us. During the (same day!) appointment everybody was beyond polite, kind, informative and provided excellent care. Dr Costopoulus was kind, knowledgeable, caring and provided great care. He even made sure we had his cell so could call over the weekend if need be. The best!

I was experiencing pain in my foot so I Unilocaled «podiatrist» and found Dr. C. I was fortunate to get a same-​day appointment. I appreciated the fact that his staff called to let me know that he was running 10 minutes late, although I didn’t see the voicemail until later. It turns out that not wearing my orthotics was causing my arch to fall (my feet are pretty much flat). He showed me the differences between the foot without no pain and the one with and it was really interesting. He also advised me on what to look for in an athletic shoe. Thanks, Dr. C!

I found Dr. Costopoulos through Unilocal! Best podiatrist I have ever been to. I called in this morning after hurting my foot last night during a soccer match, the Staff was able to get me right in although they did not have any openings. They manage to get me in during my lunch break. The Doctor was very professional, he took some X-​rays and explained that I did not have any broken bones. pshhhh. what a relieve. He recommended icing my ankle and elevating my foot. The staff as well was very professional and treated me very nice. I definetly recommend this place if you have any feet/​foot problems of that matter.

As I never actually got to see the doctor, I’m sure he’s just fine. His staff, however, needs to learn a thing or two about business and patient treatment. The doctor is late, the receptionist decides that her getting to whatever appointment she has is more important, so she asks me to wait in my car, until the doctor can get here. She actually KICKED ME OUT. That was truly pathetic.

I found Dr. Costopoulos on Unilocal via the 6x 5star ratings and decided to give him a try. I had pain in my toes that felt like ingrown toe nails and I figured it was time to get a professional opinion.
Dr. Costopoulos offered me incredibly genuine, professional advice that I should get them removed. He did not pressure me at all to do the procedure like most doctors do these days. I knew that he just wanted to see my pain go away.
Turns out he was right. I took his advice and He removed a ton of ingrown nail from both sides of each toe. For those of you worried about ingrown toe procedures, don’t be. It was painless (except some slight discomfort/​pain when the novocain is applied) and Dr Costopoulos was excellent in reassuring I was alright. He talked me through it and really made me feel relaxed.
Overall, my experience was incredible. A+ staff. A+ doctor. A+ location (for me). I was really anxious sitting in the waiting room but by the time I left I felt extremely relieved and happy.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr Costopoulos for any and all foot issues based on my experience.

The best bedside manner in the South Bay! Doc is very thorough and always cautions on the side doing anything drastic. He is all about improving your situation and is easy to get an appointment. The staff is always nice and visits do not take long.

The Dr was amazing. I went for an ingrown toenail. He took care of it in about 40 min. He gave good care instructions for the healing process and I was back to work in boots in 3 days. I would absolutely go back for any foot related problems

I went to see Dr. Costopoulos after years of pain, discomfort and according to some, smelly feet.
After just one visit my feet felt better and with the application of a prescription cream, the supposed smell has gone too.

Your feet aren’t something you think about too often until they start hurting (Ive been a runner for 30 years so, it was probably inevitable…). Was simply looking for some direction and reassurance as to what problem was. Anyway, ran across Mark, had him take a look. He’s awsome. So nice, soft-​spoken, listened to me, asked questions, gave me spot on advise and recommendations. Didn’t wait long at his office either. He didnt over recommend (x-​rays, mri, etc etc). Thumbs up!

We found Dr. Costopoulos through our church bulletin, he is a dedicated podiatrist, sensitive to this patient’s embarrassment of funky feet. Dr Costopoulos immediately puts you at ease with his calm manner. He evaluates the problems you are having and then comes up with a solution that he explains thoroughly so you do not have any surprises.
I used to make fun of older peoples feet because they do change as we age, now that I am an older person, I just say thank goodness for Dr. Costopoulos, I can wear sandals again because he took the funk out of funky.
