Specialties
The Mogul specializes in grilled steaks and fresh fish with a wonderful salad bar. Current steaks include top sirloin, flatirons, NY’s, filet, t-bones and prime rib. Fresh fish varies upon seasons and currently have fresh rainbow trout, fresh all natural salmon and fresh Alaskan Halibut.
History
Established in 1971.
The Mogul opened in 1971 as a restaurant with four steaks on the menu and a small salad bar. The interesting novelty was that you the diner cooked the steaks on a grill located in the middle of the restaurant. After two years another dining room was added with another grill. Guests waited in the snow in the winter because of it’s popularity we added a waiting room off the front of the building.
After many successful years and an expanding menu in 1983 we made it optional for the guest to cook or have your server cook it for you. In 1990 another remodel incorporated all the grills in the middle of the restaurant and now your server is also your grill chef!

Business Owner
Hired in 1983 as a busser I worked my way to a server and then manager. Managing for the previous owner Dan Haydon 15 years I then bought the Mogul in July of 1998. I still manage and operate the Mogul today and love to serve new and long time guest!
