Terrible service, so so pizza! Used to be really good but they aren’t paying attention to business.

Good pizza, but typical mammoth customer service. Also would love to see the price for a slice posted somewhere. Last summer I ate here a lot, but if I get the same customer service as tonight then I won’t bother.

Pizza is great, the service is not. The first time I went with a friend, we let the person who took our order that we would be waiting outside. We kept waiting and waiting then finally went inside to find our pizza just sitting on the counter getting cold. The second time, I placed a phone order for pick up for 2 extra large pizzas. I ended up having to repeat the order at least 5 times before they were able to understand what I wanted. It wasn’t even a complicated order, just 2 basic pizzas off of their menu. When I arrived later than the expected time, the pizza was still not ready. The whole experience was very frustrating.

I got an email from Z pizza, they offered us a $ 10 coupon. They said it would take 20 business days. Let’s see, including weekends that’s a 28 day wait. I wrote back asking why it takes so long? I looked up where they are headquartered, it’s less than 10 miles away. I am still waiting for a response as to why it takes 28 days to get a I’m sorry for the crappy service we gave you $ 10 off coupton.

This review is for the management of Z Pizza. I am very disappointed in my most recent visit. Pizza is good and it’s a nice environment, but the guy with the goofy mohawk and crappy tattoos absolutely ruined my meal. We were not greeted at all just stared at with a «I hate everyone and my life sucks» look on his face. When I asked if there was going to be anymore pizza coming up he immediately snapped back, «NO.» I brushed it aside assuming maybe I am being stupid and should know that, but when I told him what I wanted to order he condescendingly corrected that it is sausage and mushroom not meat. Just to make sure his customer service skills was spot on he disregarded the fact that I was with someone and just started ringing up my two slices. When we told him we weren’t finished ordering he rolled his eyes and said in a very rude tone, «well then what do you want.» Getting very up set at this point I pointed out that I would be writing this review, but instead of apologizing like an industry professional would have done he just proceeded to give me a death stare until he gave us our receipt. We gave up on ordering the two beers we wanted, do to the fact that we didn’t want him to implode or something. He tosses our pizza in the oven for no more then 15 seconds, and then came over and literally tossed them on the table. Now I myself and the person I was with are industry professionals and I have the utmost respect for any person doing his job, so there would have been no reason for him to be treating us like that. I have no idea what the hell this losers problem is, but we will definitely not be returning here or referring anyone as long as he is still working here. Thank you for your time and I hope this kid doesn’t run off anymore of your business.

My first visit was here was just«ok». The restroom was locked the entire time we were there. We only ordered the pizza slices that were already made. They didn’t have a special taste them. I rate this ok. Ps. I’m a big pizza lover too

I am so happy to see Z Pizza in here. Love to have a healthy options(gluten free, vegan etc) and still satisfy the craving after a day of skiing. I like to order online, but even when calling they get the order wright and on time. The location is easy to find(the plaza with Footloose and CVS) so you don’t have to wait for delivery if you wish. Friendly employees and delicious pizza!

Ordered a meat calzone and it was awesome! The staff was really cool, we were cracking jokes while I waited for my food. They even gave me a free pepperoni pie that was made by mistake, I recommend Z Pizza and I will be back soon.

I wouldn’t give them even one star if the rating system allowed. As one reviewer mentioned, angry, belligerent employees work here. I ordered 2 Greek salads to go — placed the order Online. Got there in «26 minutes» as the rude employee greeted me. It’s a salad, dude. The salads barely filled the containers. And I mean BARELY. I will struggle through VONS on a Christmas Eve before I go back to ZPizza. They should call it Zzzzzzzpizza.

YAY! Another place that offers gluten free. Every time I travel somewhere new I find it hard t find places that offer gluten free items, but so far Mammoth Lakes has no disappointed me. Zpizza has amazing gluten free pizza. I ordered the Moroccan pizza and I added pinapple to it and it was honestly mouth watering. All of the flavors may seem weird to be on a pizza but it was really good.

Great place to enjoy wifi and beer! If you get there after a certain time, I think they give you a deal on slices. Employees are always pretty solid folks.

Stay away bad service. One of the guys yelled did we leave a tip and we did bit they did not realize it. The food was average at best and the kids that work there did not provide good service. I will not be going back to this place ever. The staff needs a good training on customer service.

Dude, this place is LEGIT. This isn’t your ordinary pizza joint. Don’t come here expecting to order a regular«Pepperoni pizza»(although you could). It’s an artisan, healthy, delicious mix of ingredients on a crust(or in a salad for people who prefer that kinda thing). I must have stared at the menu for more than 5 minutes… I was drooling. There were so many options with cool and unique ingredient combinations that looked appetizing! I ended up with the Mexican Pizza(Red & green onions, avocado, chicken, mozzarella, salsa, sour cream, cilantro, etc). It had just the right amount of spice and the flavor was great! I’m really surprised I finished the whole pizza, I wasn’t even that hungry. I’ve also had the ZBQ and the Thai Chicken pizzas– both awesome. I was also pleased that the Thai Chicken pizza had cool, fresh veggies added after it came out of the oven. Not a lot of places do that, but it keeps them moist & crispy! Some good beers on tap and they were showing Mountain biking videos on the TVs. It’s a small location, but it works for its purpose. Hands down the best pizza spot in mammoth!

Absolutely amazing. Best pizza we’ve had in Mammoth by far. Also the best service. Jacob the delivery guy goes above and beyond! We will definitely be giving them our business again!

Super courteous and friendly employees. Pizza was SO fresh and delicious. Not much more money than your run of the mill pizza shop but for the fresh ingredients, totally worth it. We’re from Southern California and this was our first stop. Got an XL pep pizza for the family. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of service and food.

My pizza came out to $ 19.95. I was told that there was a $ 20 delivery minimum, and asked if there was anything else I’d like to order. So, I was short by a nickel. This brings up two issues: These guys are pricing pizza at five cents below the delivery minimum in an attempt to force customers to order food they don’t want. So if you’re ready to shell out 19 bucks for a pizza, you better also be ready to spend another $ 10 on a mediocre side salad. Second issue here is the service. We’re talking about a nickel here. Five cents. There were a million ways we could’ve settled this like rational, decent people. They could’ve just charged me more, I could’ve tipped the driver extra, we could’ve shared a laugh at management’s little nickel grubbing scheme and called it a day. But no, they tried to strong arm us into buying a salad. Stay classy Zpizza.

Pretty interesting pizzas. Ordered a large half zbq & half Mexican. The large is 14″ with 8 slices($ 20). They provided us with plates. Took about 15 minutes to make. Came on a Saturday night 8 pm, no wait. They have some beers on tap as well as salads and calzones. The pizza itself was pretty good. The zbq had better flavor than the Mexican. Neither were spicy. Crust was thin and crispy. Nothing amazing though.
