Went here 2 weeks in a row on the weekend to order bhel puri since they have it only on weekend. The first time they close the stand early, second time I was told the guy who makes it is not there even though I could clearly see him in back on the isle organizing the shelves. Apparently he could not take a break for 5 min to make it for me.

This is the Indian store that I use as the standard for all other Philly area Indian stores to follow.
I’ve never not found something I was looking for here. I’ve never been disappointed with the selection. They’re very well organized and easy to deal with.
Granted, no store in this area will ever be as good as what they have in Edison, NJ, but this store comes quite close.

This grocery store has a good selection of Indian grocery/​prepared/​frozen foods. They have most of the major brands of spices & spice packets, so you can either mix your own spice blends, or use the big brands (Deep, Shan, etc) pre-​made spice packets. Also a good selection of frozen foods, both ready to eat meals, and dosas, naaans, etc. They also have pre-​made, microwaveable food for take-​out.
You definitely won’t see the variety & prices of one of the larger Indian supermarkets in North Jersey/​New York area, but it’s very good for this area. Inside’s clean.
