Gentle Touch Car Wash

I received a ticket for a free car wash from Piazza Acura from Gentle Touch Car Wash and went to the location at 120 W. Lancaster Ave. I actually paid an extra $ 9 for the most thorough service and was very disappointed with the results. I mentioned to the counter person that my trunk was not vacuumed and was told that they only vacuum the trunk if you ask them to! I said to her, «How am I supposed to know that?!»
Also, while getting my car washed, my right rear tail light was broken. I called and explained what happened to the manager, Mr. Robinson and actually went back there and showed him the damage. He refused to take responsibility for the damage.
Not impressed on any level!

Waste of time and money if you plan to get your car cleaned here. If you pay 20 bucks then they will clean your car else your car will go through the stinking automated wash in 2 mins and come out and nobody will care to wipe your car even if you tip liberally.

Great service every time I stop in for a express detail… Staff is always trying to upsell you something… I know that’s part of the job… Just don’t pay them no mind when I stop in… I’m always happy when my car is finish… Be back with my other car next week

I’ve had it with this place!
I used to go here fairly frequently. Not because they do a particularly good job. But, because they are near my house and you can get a gas and wash at the same time.
I started going less and less for three reasons:
1^st) Their high pressure sales tactics to upgrade your wash or buy a coupon book. I get it, you need to try and push the add-​on sale. But, if I politely decline, that should be the end of it. There should be no hard sell after that.
2^nd) The place is not well maintained. There are always one or two gas pumps out of order and the place smells awful.
3^rd) And the main reason I will no longer be going is due to the lady that works the counter. It is rare that I will stop going to a place because on just one employee. But, this lady is awful! She is the worst of all them with the car-​wash-​book sales tactics. And when you politely say no. Her combacks are sarky and annoying. And then today the pump I was using was pumping VERY slow. When I went in to see what was up she was down right condescending! I paid for the 30 cents of gas that came out and went down the street.
I will NEVER return to this dump again!

I was happy with my car wash, they were well staffed and thoroughly dried my car. My only complaint is when they were drying my car, they used the same towels on my interior windows, which made my windows dirtier than before the car wash.

One of the WORST car washes I have ever been at. I had to go out and clean parts of my car myself because of the awful job done. The car was not cleaned and the people didn’t care. After cleaning my car myself out in the sun had a couple of words to say to the manager but as the service provided the manager didn’t care either. Will NEVER ever go again and hopefully I’m helping somebody else from wasting their money and save a headache.

I use this car wash on a regular basis and would rate them highly compared to some of the local competition.
Employees here are very friendly and professional, and do a very good job washing my vehicle. I have had my car detailed here and was also very happy with the final product.
Definitely recommend!

Quite disappointed. I called to check the hours (it was a Sunday afternoon) at about 4:45 and was told that the place closes at 5:45. I asked if I could come for a wash and interior cleanout and was told no problem. When I got there at 5:15, I was told that there was no more vacuuming available. Nice. I left.

I used to go to the Duke car wash down the street. Due to poor new management, employees stealing money, and the company reusing the dirty water from the floor, I stopped going here. I am surprised they are still in business!!! I saw signs for this place as I was driving by and decided to try them out. The guys working here are nice and very professional and do a really clean job. However, they did take longer than I wouldve expected. You tell the attendants what you want and you go inside to pay while your vehicles makes it way through the tunnel. 5 stars for clean vehicles, 3 stars because they are a bit slower than I would expect.
