This nail salon is SOO UNSANITARY! HOW ARE THEY STILL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?!
The tech that did my nails actually had to use her nail to SCRAPE the previous clients DEAD SKIN AND CLIPPED NAILS off the cuticle nipper!
And the pedicures? AWFUL. They do not disinfect the foot spa between clients. Horrendous!

Nice atmosphere but my shellac manicure only lasted a week before the polish started to peal off. The people who work here seem friendly and the place looks clean. I won’t return only for the fact I pay more to have the shellac, it should last two weeks. Also they don’t have OPI gel colors which isn’t ideal.

I swear by this place and have sent a handful of friends and relatives. Can’t beat the mani-​pedi for $ 25 deal and honestly of the handful of nail salons in the area, I’ve had the most consistent, pleasant service here. They work hard and are thorough. Haven’t had a racist experience here which I cannot say for the other salons in the area. They do a really good job at Tip Top and I have a lot of respect for the owner who stays late nights in the summer time, often locking up at 11 pm to head home for the day. Best nail salon and hardest working nail techs in the Malden area.

Young guy took care of business. Scrubbing and scraping my beat up feet from a long Boston winter. Not to mention I am on my feet when I work. This kid took care of business. A little rough and got one OUCH out of me but again he was getting in there and doing the job. The polish was done ok. Not really impressed with the coverage he did but I’m not one to rock the boat. He did a good job overall and on this 55 degree day in March I will be able to wear my flip flops for the first time since November. YIPPEEE!!! Got green polish for Saint Paddy’s Day… :)

Very cheap & fast. I always come here for my waxes. Eyebrow & lip together for 13 $! Can’t beat that! Also their mani & pedi is 25 $.

Horrible! My nails look exactly the way they would if I had saved the $$ and did them myself. Polish all over my cuticles and skin. Asked her twice to use the brush to remove the polish from the skin around my nails, still looks awful. Gave up and left. Never mind the fact it’s so loud, the techs go back and forth across the room in their language. Just not a pleasant experience at all. 1 star is generous. Never again.

This is one of the best nail salons I have ever been too. You can not beat the pedicure price or service. All the people who work there are friendly and quick to serve you. They truly are top notch!

I don;t know why they have so many bad reviews but the salon wasn’t bad at all. It was very affordable also. My manicure and pedicure was done by a man which I didn’t like much because I prefer a woman to do my nails over a man but he did such a good job so I can’t complain.
I also had a full wax. I had to tell her a few times to wax the spots she missed but she liked the fact that I told her to redo the spots she missed so no points taken there either.
If you go make sure you schedule an appointment. I also like the fact that they are open until 7:30 PM during the week.

I just moved to Malden ma, and I will not come back here! The lady who did my eye brows didn’t even know what she was doing, my eye brows came horrible! 10 $ for a terrible job!

This place is not worth the money. My sister and I went today and her nails came out terrible. The woman who did it even admitted it was bad. So instead of giving her a gift card, or just giving her her money back… They made us sit there while they took off the nail color! Are you kidding me — for $ 30 it should have been perfect! What bad service!!! Not the way to earn new customers… Especially with those prices.

My girlfriend went there to get her nails done today and it took her over 2hrs to get it done, when it should’ve took no more than 20 – 30 minutes. That’s because they passed her over for multiple customers despite her getting there first (my girlfriend is Asian, the other customers are black and white). While my gf is getting upset of being repeatedly skipped for ‘better customers’, I was waiting/​walking around/​freezing my a$$ off outside wondering why the hell it’s taking so long.
This is very bad service to make someone wait, just because they prefer some customers over others. If you’re Asian wanting to get your nails or whatever done, you best go elsewhere because they will waste your time, making you wait like a idiot while treating everyone else like a queen. This is sad especially when Asians treat other Asians as 2nd or 3rd class citizens and act like its no big deal.

This was the first place I ever went to get my eyebrows waxed, and even though I don’t live in malden anymore… I still return to get them done. The woman who does it knows EXACTLY how I want it. everytime w/​o me telling her.
I got my nails done here for prom. I get tips. with designs. so painful. but it was so pretty at the end! The guy did it for me. took a long time but I think he was trying hard haha. THen I went back to get them removed $ 10 and they paint it for you after they painful PULL your tips off.omg. I’ll just let them grow out next time I ever get my nails done. here I was thinking I can just dip my hand in a nice liquid that I saw other places had. how very wrong was I. But do get your eyebrows done here! $ 7!
