School is the worst people and teachers may be indifferent to you but this school was just ridiculous. They just get a star for 3 out of the 4 teachers I had there and the manager gets no credit to me graduating and getting my license, they really do not get any credit at all, I put my review up after receiving my license because I was in fear of getting reprimanded by doing it before hand. My experience there at neha wasn’t to pleasant as an instructor was very un professional and unpleasant as to one being some sort of a racist and sexist. I most certainly am not the only person who thought this, a big hand full of students also thought this and the manager just let it slide, i felt emotional abused by this said instructor and manager. I repeatedly felt I was paying $ 1,000 to get bullied by my instructor, she made it her goal to make the female students feel incompetent and small when she was the one who was supposed to help us build our confidence she just crushed it instead, it was so bad that you could tell other instructors were being bullied by her. I stuck out to finish my 1000 hours just to do it. they are very unprofessional with product knowledge they give the students no access as to what they student is selling to the costumers which stunts how they up sell things, just because they tell you how to use the products in the back bar doesn’t mean they know how it’ll come out. Anthony Clemente has no clue as to what goes on between his instructors and students because his manager sweeps everything under the rug to look good because she hired the said instructor, multiple students and clients have had severe issues with this said instructor but the manager just lets it all go with no consequences. Mrs. Nagat, Mrs. J, and Mrs. Michelle were all great and very helpful with teaching me I appreciate them consoling clients and students after the said teacher has bullied them they were professional and very educative and understanding. Consider your options very well before enrolling as a student here. Anthony Clemente should consider being more interactive and interested with the well being of his students.

The 5 stars is for the 20 years that I have been going to this school and have been completely satisfied with the students along with the wonderful teachers. I can go knowing that I am in good hands. I give zero stars for the horrific experience I was exposed to physically and mentally by a teacher that I have never met or even seen before on Monday, November 9^th, 2015 at 10 :30 am. The hostility and anger that was portrayed towards myself and the wonderful most precious student anyone could ask for, from this teacher, is not only unforgivable, but very disturbing. I was harassed, man handled, visually stocked, belittled and harassed in front of other patrons and students. It is hard to believe and understand that a human being has that much anger and hostility in their life that they can abuse patrons along with students in a people oriented business. Shame on you.

I wish i could have read these truthful reviews before i decided to sign up for NEHA. Think twice bfore you do anything!

im really not surprised they have a bad review they know there like a clinic or rehab for washed up people who spend time in jail or how they exploit every single person who walks through there doors… theres nothing but bums and gweedoughs at this place they dont help you get a job they play favorites and treat people with good hearts like crap while they line there pocket its by charging 10 $ an hour every time your absent when you go over the 50 free hours they make you buy a kit for 900 $ and if you call anyone sweetheart they get totally offended last time I called the school they told me to cut hair in prison N.E.H.A.Tuition is about 12k pus 4k for absent hours THEY DONT PREPARE YOU FOR STATE BOARD THEY DONT.

i just got a professional haircut from this place. actually much better than a super cut. in response to some of the other people’s complaints, get over it, its a school for christ’s sake.

They really stink. My experience was similar to R.J.‘s: the place is cheap and I wish I had skipped it entirely. The nail tech removed mostly her own nail polish while trying to remove mine. It took a full hour for a terrible manicure. My nails weren’t dry but they were ready for me to leave because they were closing. The nail polish was glopped on and it looked absolutely terrible. The first thing I did when I went home was redo it. I think I went 6 months ago but the thought of that manicure still stings! If there was a way to give no stars I would.
FYI I have been to Empire for manicures and they were alright, about as good as you would do at home.

Went there for a haircut. Left two hours later with bald spots where the student kept trying to get it «even». Wore a hat for several weeks, then went elsewhere for a real haircut.
