This Coffee Bean location is one of the nicer locations. It has plenty of seating as well as a fire out outside to enjoy on those rare chilly nights. This location has a Peking lot although it can get busy during rush hour times or weekends. The staff is great and friendly. They take your order as soon as they see you in line and make sure your order is exactly how you want it. This location also has a restroom to use and was petty clean when I used it. Overall a great sit down location for the Beverly Center area.

I swear this place used to be Einstein Bagels, but I could be wrong. I walked up to the door, then walked away then walked back and went in finally. Mornings of course are a zoo and if you are looking for a bagel, they still have them here. There’s not much to tell that it doesn’t say in the name of the place, there’s coffees and teas, plus bagels, and breakfast pastries that make your ass look huge. It’s basically a Starbucks but since I would rather flush my money down the toilet than even walk into a Starbucks, this will do. Note, the parking is a complete joke. Unless you have a smart car and get there 2 hours before the doors open, don’t expect to find a space.

This review is for shorter female barista. She provided the worst customer service for me and my girlfriend. We ordered two drinks, an Iced winter dream latte and a hazelnut iced coffee. Not only did she manage to get my girlfriend’s drink wrong(made it hot), she skipped my drink completely. There was literally only one person ahead of us, and it was pretty slow so it’s not likely that she was bombarded with orders. After my girlfriend got her drink, we saw at least 5 others come in after us and get their drink before mine. I asked the barista where my drink was and told her I hadn’t gotten mine, yet. She acknowledged me and looked at the order screen and told me(lied to me) and said it was coming. After another five or so drinks, I decided to tell her someone probably took my drink(not likely since I never heard her call it out). It took another barista on the line to make my drink. Pretty incompetent and poor customer service from this employee. I rather drive down the block and visit the another Coffee Bean.

This location was perfect for me. Why? Because I needed a shot of espresso the moment I walked into the Beverly Center! There was no line so I waited since the barista was grabbing coffee for someone. The guy took my order and was very cheerful and friendly. It’s always nice to have someone interact with you like that especially when you have a pounding headache and need caffeine. After a two or three minutes, my espresso shot came out. The barista who delivered it just kinda dropped it off at the counter. Haha. I don’t know how else to explain it. After getting the awesome service when I ordered, it would’ve been nice to carry through to the end. Regardless, they still get a high score since my espresso shot was what I expected. Oh and this is a great meeting place for people since they have some tables right outside of the Bloomingdale’s. Thanks CBTL!

A well run chain in the SoCal area — maybe elsewhere, not sure — and more than a viable alternative for all those folk who are all Starbucked-out. Most mainstream shops of this sort are so well corporately disciplined they can only differentiate themselves by the level of service they can deliver beyond that they trained for. They are predictably friendly, courteous and helpful and get my coffee in my hand in zippy fashion. This location is no exception. Oh, I usually avoid food at Starbucks because I just don’t like the taste of most of it’s offerings. I had a muffin here. Scrumptious. Three stars = A-OK. They were indeed A-OK. And that’s good.

Normally wouldn’t review a mainstream spot but gotta shout out Jenny and Sydni at this location for their outstanding customer service. It’s not often you are met with such genuine smiles and attentiveness. Thank you.

It’s just okay for a quick mall stop, assess your shop, coffee break. A good place to people watch. Staff not so happy… or so polite. Cakes and pastries well stocked.

Yes, I’m reviewing a chain, and a coffee joint to boot. Everyone know what’s served and what to expect. What I didn’t expect was a level of customer service that would make me go back there even if I wasn’t thirsty or had a gift card. I just needed something cold so I grabbed a ginger ale out of the cooler. The person at the cash register not only offered us ice, but two cups full of ice for the both of us so we didn’t have to share. The other staff members were friendly as greeted us geniunely while we waited for our cashier to return with the ice and cups and it made me forget about the Beverly Center price I had paid for a drink.

Why isn’t this the most popular coffee yet? Try the pumpkin latte here! Better than anywhere else. Right at the crossroads

I’m giving this place a 5 star review. I’m always impressed with the staff. They are quiet and professional. The place has a kind of hip vibe to it. They always get my order right. Parking is a problem here as I never find any easily. Place is clean and bathrooms are always clean. A very well run Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

I adore the Coffee Bean but when I opened up the bag to eat my blueberry scone, I saw it had a bite taken out of it. What the hell?

Pretty standard for a Coffee Bean. I mean, it’s in the mall, y’know? I think maybe the staff could use a little more coffee themselves though.
