This is a horrible representation of the Starbucks corporation. I’m not sure if the regular standards of Starbucks don’t apply here because it’s in a hospital or what but I was shocked. Staff is incredibly rude and didn’t want to be bothered to stop their chit chat amongst themselves. There was no friendly gestures — a smile, welcome!, how are you today? … Nothing. But the most appalling was probably the lack of cleanliness. There was trash all over the condiment station and the floor three times when I visited here! C’mon people, you’re located in a hospital! Starbucks is always clean and you’re going to make the location in a hospital the dirtiest? WTH! The customer service was offensive, like you think you’re having a bad day because you’re at work? There’s people coming to you that are watching their loved ones fight for their lives and you can’t even give them a simple smile with their coffee? Granted not everyone in the hospital is going through something that rough but of all places to be rude, the hospital just shouldn’t be one of them — you never know what the customers here have been through or are going through. I’m a loyal Starbucks fan and this was honestly just a disappointment to see Starbucks being represented so poorly.

Is it possible to give this place negative stars? I’ve never encountered such blatant rudeness on a constant basis as this place delivers. You want a latte and some attitude then this is your spot. I work in Cedars Sinai and on every occasion I’ve patronized this place, I’ve been met with rude, abrupt, and downright offensive attitude. The two ladies who man the cashier station need to resign. It is obvious to me they don’t like their job or station in life. I didn’t tell you to work for Starbucks or Sodexho, or whatever. I’m sorry for whatever happened that forced you into this job, but don’t take it out on me. I try to give benefit of the doubt, bad day etc… but you just freakin started an hour ago… You just opened… how bad can your day have been… bad life maybe? I don’t know but really your attitude has no place here. I would write corporate but I doubt it would do any real good. It’s best to just buy coffee somewhere else like the Coffee Bean in the East Tower. At least there, the employees are polite and friendly. not passive aggressive anger management examples.

Starbucks is the norm when it comes to the go to stop for coffee(especially when working in the Cedars Sinai Towers). Unfortunately, this location not only provides the worst customer service, they also mess up mine — and my co-workers orders — on a weekly basis. The management needs major adjustment as I’ve never been to a Starbucks that does not have bagels. Who doesn’t have bagels? They also never fill the drinks to the top. NEVER. They are blatantly rude, incompetent, and unable to accommodate you for the mistakes that they constantly make. I would not recommend this location for those who are looking for a quick go to drink. Starbucks needs to re-evaluate this location an consider shutting it down.

This SB location is literally in my workplace in the south tower of Cedars Sinai hospital and I hope it is the right place I’m writing this review on because they have the worst customer service compared to other locations I’ve been to. For the past couple of weeks, they were only accepting cash so I couldn’t use my SB card. There was a sign up before saying cash only and I didn’t see it this time around so I assumed it was ok to use my card. The lady who is usually at the register is always very rude every single time I’ve gone there. To be honest, she really shouldn’t be up there taking orders. She takes your name but then the barista, who was a guy doesn’t even say when your drink is ready. I wish I took down their names. Most horrible customer service every time. I’m just gonna stick to the free coffee my department gives or the cafeteria from now on.

Only an extra star bc they make my drink well but the customer service is so terrible. I can’t order what I want without them looking at me weird. Even when I order my special drink they tell me it has a new name… then when I use that new name the next time I order my drink, they tell me the name for that drink was the old name! What is going on?!? They never fill the cups to the top. It always stops at the top of the green Starbucks symbol. Ridiculous. These people need some crash course on customer service because they look completely irritable and hate their life. Especially the African American girl working the cash register. Cheer up Hun. There’s more to life than asking for people’s orders and acting like a smart ass.

I come here for convenience but I must say it’s probably my least favorite Starbucks location. It feels like a big business drive-through rather than a cozy coffee shop. It’s always busy but that’s no excuse. The staff seem pretty harried, just trying to get to the next customer– no warmth or friendliness there. I can tolerate that if my drink was good, but it seems that it’s never just right. My eggnog latte(which is usually a delicious Starbucks drink) today is disappointing. The foam is thin instead of creamy as if it wasn’t creamed enough. Plus it’s filled with so much foam there’s only about half a cup of drink. Also, no toaster so only cold pastries. Yup. Not my fave location at all.

Cedars sinai Starbucks S tower, I am disgusted and hated with the staff Of this store let’s name sOme HAMID and MARIJA they treat people differently they run with there favoritism,. HAMID embarrassed us in front of all customer he said the MANAGer said we cannot do this and we have to pay more for milk, . l Always order 1shot espresso in a cup full of ice and it’s not just me 30% off the employee order the same thing, 1shot espresso cost $ 1.75 and they charged me $ 4.30 for putting milk they said its a latte but our cups is full of ice I transfer the milk I got and it’s only 1 ¾ ounce of milk only which is your entitle to have 4 ounce of milk ‚. Not going back in the store anymore and I’m telling to everyone and my co workers how they treated customer ., ;((bad service and experience

I’ve come here more times than I’ve checked in to say this. The staff does not fill the cup up to the top of a venti. WHY? 5 times now and only on a venti order not my grande and I only order peppermint white mochas. It gets stopped right at the top of the green symbol. Not funny, not a safety thing just lazy measurements. Only Starbucks that does this and I am a long time customer so I’m use to a full cup. I’m just finally speaking up because I keep having to stop here when I’m down the street and want coffee. Maybe I need to be inconsiderate of others time and go back and hold up the line like most people do over this? No? Yeah? Well I haven’t so far. Please address the staff that worked on the date this is posted, appreciate it! *Updated review* Cups have been full lately, I guess they really do read reviews. Thank you!

close to cedars, convenient location, fun crowd to people watch, close caffeine fix in the midst of shopping. unfortunately the latter means the lines get ridiculously long during prime shopping time and on the weekends!

This Starbucks is in Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Plaza level(PL) in the South tower. 4-stars to this location for saving me time from leaving the campus for coffee and being my alternative choice to most coffee kiosks in CSMC. A lot of times the lines here are long but they go quick. Like any other Starbucks theres pastries and sandwiches but here they sell fast. Contrary to some reviews, Ive found the crew of baristas to be friendly and true to recipe. Starbucks extended there hours until 10 pm weekdays. A nice place to enjoy your cuppa and get your mind off hospital jazz is plaza level next to the grand piano. I always enjoy the volunteer musicians.

Ridiculously slow long lines. Workers are slow, too much traffic. Once you ooze your way to a cashier: Rude customer service — expect to be treated like cattle and get yelled at. Once you order: Frequently forgotten/wrong orders. Again, staff here not terribly organized or fast. With large customer volume, they are easily overwhelmed. Do not expect a receipt. Once you mention your forgotten/wrong order: Rude customer service — more glaring and sighing at customer, because apparently it is your fault they messed up. The attitude is: if you were not there, life would be better for these workers. Once you finally get your order about twenty frustrating minutes later: Enjoy your lukewarm, perhaps still-erroneously-made drink. Also, the half-and-half will be empty, and don’t bother asking because you’re already a nuisance.

It goes without saying that I love coffee and so Starbucks is one of my favorite coffee shops. This one is a good as any of the other ones I don’t have much to say only that is a good place to make that coffee stop!

Oiy. where do I begin. Yes I am grateful that there is a Starbucks inside Cedars-Sinai, but I only come here when I’m really desperate for some caffeine. 8 out of 10 of the times the wait is unusually long despite there being no long line. At one visit I surprisingly got my drink quickly but they ended up not making the correct drink… So I had to wait again. Also I noticed that the quality of the drinks vary depending on who makes it. The last time my caramel macchiato tasted very watered down and lukewarm. Not good. Also I really don’t like how they don’t allow the Starbucks Card Member perks of free flavored syrups and soy milk. I’m lactose-intolerant so it just bugs me that I have to pay for my soy milk even when I’m a Gold member and should be getting it free.

Its the Starbucks inside the Cedars Medical Center. I guess this starbucks is popular because the line is always so long, but I dont know why other than its in the crux of the hospital high-traffic walkways. The line moves at the pace of a snail… like if you literally put a snail on the ground next to you, it could keep up with you! especially during the peak times. There were angry glaring faces from customers and overworked/stressed out faces from the employees. there was small group that was gathered at the pick up area and grumbling and openly complaining at the poor workers because they received incorrect drinks. It was like watching a terrible level of one of those restaurant-server videogames where you have angry customers with angry faces. I guess i got my drink unscathed… this time! it’s not a «real» starbucks, it’s owned by the food company here at Cedars called Sodexco, so while they accept your Starbucks Giftcards, they dont give you those free registered-card-perks like free addons or soy milk(which my lactose-intolerant tummy makes me get). bummer.

Good non-fat chai, super spicy. Just how I like it. Otherwise, just your basic Starbucks. A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks.

GETYOURHEADINTHEGAME! …that is what I heard one employee shout to another employee behind the counter as he was returning with fresh ice. There were about 15 people waiting around for their coffee, all with angry faces. Another 15 or so people were waiting in line to place their orders. Current orders were being mixed up and served out of the order they were placed. Employees were frustrated. It was a Wednesday at 2pm. Sooooo this Starbucks is located right on the plaza level of Cedars Sinai. It’s super convenient if you work at Cedars but I tend to avoid this place if I can. Why you ask? 1. This Starbucks is shoved in a corner right near a very busy hallway and set of elevators. It is ALWAYS crowded you have to stand around feeling like you are constantly in the way regardless of whether you are in a line or waiting for your coffee. 2. Speaking of waiting… this place is SLOW. Unbelievably slow. I don’t know how it’s possible for coffee to take so long. There is another Starbucks up the block from Cedars and I honestly think that if there are 10 people in line in front of you(common), you could walk to the nearby Starbucks and get your coffee and return before you would be served at this more«convenient» one. 3. The employee turnover is high. VERY high. Half of the employees are super helpful and friendly(bonus) and remember you and your order if you frequent the place. The rest couldn’t care less about you or your coffee. 4. They are owned by Sodexo, so they don’t take free drink coupons or abide by any of the Starbucks promos. They DO accept the refillable gift cards, which is a plus. I gave this place three stars because they do have some really nice employees and they have been trying to improve their efficiency. Some of their employees have started walking along the lines taking orders to try and churn out the coffee faster. I realize it’s an ultra-busy location since it’s right inside a hospital that has 10k employees but I’d still rather take an extra 60 seconds to walk across the bridge and get a coffee from Tully’s in the medical towers.

I can’t believe nobody’s reviewed this Starbucks yet! It’s on the Cedars-Sinai campus. tucked up on the Plaza Level of the South Tower building. I was told that it has the highest volume of business west of Denver.(Wow.) Always busy, and the line moves fast. I’m detracting a star because for the last couple weeks their credit card machine is down and it’s cash only.(I’m sure that’ll be fixed soon, but for now, the inconvenience is costing a star!)
