History

Established in 1998.

Sports n’ More was founded in 1998 by Tim Buchanan. The popular «Coach Tim» began his career as a private instructor teaching after school sports classes in elementary schools all over Southern California. After 4 years of teaching privately and running after school programs for other organizations, Tim launched his own after school enrichment company.

With the birth of Sports n’ More came many new exciting programs. Schools from all over the area began reaching out to take part of the amazing sports and motor skill development programs. Sports n’ More has operated enrichment programs in over 40 different elementary schools.

In 1999 Sports n’ More opened their first summer Day Camp in Hidden Hills (Calabasas) California. Soon to follow was a second location in the very prestigious Bell Canyon gated community. The multi-​million dollar Agoura/​Calabasas Community Center is our third summer camp location.
