This place deserves no stars! From service to salad bar food options. I’ve been a fan of the Sizzler salad bar since I was young… was craving a salad so decided to pay them a visit. The one I usually go to on Vermont was closed due to maintenance so I googled and found this one on Western. With my family, we arrived at 9pm. put our orders in and headed for the soup bar. As we were sipping on our soups the waitress tells us the salad bar is closing in 15 minutes! We look over and the waiters are already cleaning the salad bar and taking the food away! I was soooo upset! I JUST paid 50 bucks and we’re not going to be able to enjoy the food i came for!!? We rushed to the salad bar, even grabbing food from the trays on the cart which was getting ready to be taken away. The options were very poor, unlike any other Sizzler I’ve been to. The only reason we ordered an entrée is because it comes with the salad bar for the same price as the salad alone! On top of that, one of our entrees was wrong. And the waitress never refilled our waters and was sitting at a nearby booth with a gentleman… as our plates were on the table dirty and ready to be taken away. Never again spending money at this Sizzler and I suggest you don’t either. you will be highly unsatisfied and not able to enjoy a nice meal.

I come here and order the salad bar or food from the lunch special menu. The waiter/waitress is really nice, and they check up on you to see if everything is all right.

Avoid this location at all costs. This location has valet parking but I’m not sure why. It’s not like people are lining up to get into sizzler lol. Tables were slow to be cleaned, interior is dreary and food presentation is lousy. Some items were empty and never refilled. Staff is not that attentive. If you have a hankering for Sizzler I suggest the location in Culver City. Culver city location is much brighter, has friendly and attentive service. It is much cleaner than the Koreatown location. Culver City Sizzker also have the little extras, like hot sauce for your chicken wings, that this location does not have.

Man, what possessed me to come to sizzler’s? If you know me, I have ‘emo’ days where all I want to do is eat by myself and chill by myself.(I sound so sad right now, but I don’t care haha) Haven’t been here since I was a child, but looking back, I really thought I ate really good food! But, for now, I think I’d rather go to McDonald’s then spend money at sizzler’s. I came here in the afternoon on a Saturday and the place was fairly empty. I just wanted to try out the salad bar(been on a low carb diet recently). I felt like all the items weren’t so fresh and was pretty bland. Everyone(including the manager) seemed so dead. This chain restaurant seems like it has no life and I feel like sizzler’s could do a bit of a makeover in terms of improving the quality of the food and environment.(Maybe it’s just the ktown location) Service was okay. Interior was very dreary. Souplantation is the def better choice for a salad bar meal.

Received gift card as gift. Decided to go to Korea Town Sizzler for lunch. When trying to use gift card manager cashier said I couldn’t use card since Internet was not available most of the time in their dinning. I was there with my family. I couldn’t believe he didn’t attempt to find a way or at least give some accommodations for the trouble. Gift card is just as money and it was not my fault. Horrible way of keeping customers happy.

I went here with 3 others on a Friday, mostly for nostalgia. Sizzler was a treat during the 80’s and when I was off to college, my brothers and sisters would taunt me by saying they were eating at Sizzler when I was away. Times change: prices are way up and no longer make this place economical – you might as well eat at a real restaurant, because for four people it was 100 bucks. Also, the food was just okay: my steak was good but extremely small and of a lesser cut, and the salad was on the wilt-y side. The fried food was a tad bit over-fried: it was crispy but dry. We all agreed that we wouldn’t be back and that we should let the past be the past. I guess I shouldn’t try to drunk dial any ex-girlfriends, either.

My review is based on the food only since I had take out. I had shrimp scampi pasta and I can tell you it wasn’t shrimp scampi. The sauce was watery and the shrimp and pasta seemed under cooked because the food wasn’t warm at all/just barely. The meal was below mediocre my 10 y.o. Sister can make better pasta and I could have went to Ralph’s and made the meal a million times better for the 15 bucks I paid. The bread was just that and basic with some garlic sprinkled on it. That was my first time at sizzler def won’t waste my money again.

Usual Wednesday lunch hunt with my dad and we decided to check out the sizzler location in K-Town. The service is slow but the server was friendly which is a plus even though it took forever to get refills. *I’m a water buffalo lol… The place is outdated I believe they need to remodel both the bathrooms and the restaurant itself. The salad bar does not have enough selections and the food looks like it has been out all day definitley not quality food… TIP: the los feliz location has a huge salad bar and is very clean! definitely worth the trip. The parking needs to be updated… yet there is spacious parking for a weekday and not a busy weekend.

We came for just the soup and salad bar after eating some very heavy and unhealthy food throughout the day. It was conveniently located across from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The salad was stocked well and the clam chowder was pretty good, but the appetizer bar was terrible. The spaghetti was awful and that’s not to mention that the noodles were not there and I had to personally go ask to get it refilled. Chips and taco shells were also stale.

What I really liked was the service. The cashier and waiter paid close attention to everyone in the restaurant. They made sure everyone was comfortable and I really liked that. My food was just ok overall. I got the fried jumbo shrimp with fries and chose dinner rolls over the garlic bread. The fresh rolls were soft and sweet. There was nothing spectacular about anything and you don’t really have much to choose from on their menu. I would only come here again for quick bite.

Authentic American food. Authentic American excess. Democracy triumphs the Russian Federation! Where I from, staples rationed they are. I survive many nights on boiled root veg and pickled fish. Here? So many choices. Steak, meatballs, scampi, ice cream. I never knew these foods before I come to U.S.A. You spoiled brats don’t know how good you have it. Solid 5 stars. I Nina. I full woman. Never cross me.

I mean come on, it’s Sizzler — do you even need to read my review? There’s not a ton of lunch options in the area that scream«you gotta eat here!» especially if you like salad like me, so therefore Sizzler becomes a fairly attractive option once a week. Despite being surrounded by filth(Wilshire/Western is a pretty scuzzy area) this location is actually fairly clean and well-maintained. You know the deal — pay at the front(they give you cash if you tip on your card), pick a table, get your food. The salad bar here is pretty good in terms of options and quality. Soup is ok as long as it hasn’t been sitting out forever. Everything else is pretty below-average. The tacos, pasta, wings — all that stuff is super processed and not appetizing at all. You don’t have waiters really but people will come around and ask if you need refills, more bread, clear your table, etc. so be sure to leave a tip. You could do better but you could also do a lot worse in this area.

I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant until eating at this sizzler. We placed our order with what looks like to be the manager, Jesus(nothing like the Lord Savior). My 85lb, 65year old mother can hardly finish a chicken leg let alone a whole steak, but woman wants a steak so my wife offers to split a meal. I order MY meal along with an unlimited salad bar. I like their wings. I know, i dont know why either. Long story short, they made us feel like a criminals suspecting us of sharing the salad bar items. Ok, so my wife wants to see why i like the wings so much, or she’ll dabble into my clam chowder here n there, so I give her a bite or two. Jesus obviously made sure the servers were keeping an eye on us as they would be around our table every second, yet our glasses were usually empty and needed napkins but never got any. Be ready to be watched like a hawk if your a table of 4 and you only get 1 unlimited salad bar. Thanks Jesus, Salad bar security specialist.

First we have ordered a steaks, cahsier girl didnt suggest a salad bar(we forgot it was a separate thing) and we ended up getting a 4 salad plate such waste of money because salads were not that good. Steaks were A-okay. I dont see the point of valet service, but one more employment opportunity for a person trying to feed his family so i should shut my mouth. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here.

***DONOTCOMETOTHISSIZZLER, UNLESSYOUWANTTOHAVEFOODPOISONING*** Came to Sizzler because of David Choi and Anthony Bourdain. I want to make my own meatball tacos, so I ended up coming here with my friends. We came here on Sunday lunch time. We ordered medium– rare steak, shrimp and salmon. Food came, and the medium-rare steak was rotten. It tasted sour. We completely lost our appetite, even though the other food tasted okay. The manager gave us the refund back on the steak, but it didn’t matter. A restaurant should never serve rotten food!!! Never go back to this location ever again!

Like all the other chains, it has the same menu, but the wait staff is nice and more attentive. Their garlic bread is so good. I only go for the buffet though which has salad, chickenwings, and some fatty yet yummy tacos to eat, and I go nuts with the dessert section, though small. I find their entrees– anything with steak– to be too tough. The place is generally almost full whenever I go. I’m always one person away from having to wait. It is crowded on the weekends for sure. Good for groups.

This was my spot back in the day. Any celebration — Sizzler for dinner. I love their cheese bread and new rolls with honey butter they have. The steaks are aiiiiiight but they have a decent lemon chicken. It cracks me up that they have valet parking at Sizzler. I guess it’s cool since it creates a job. Prices are pretty reasonable and you should be able to get out for less than $ 15 a person unless you order the all you can eat stuff and that is usually 20 or so.
