Reiki derives from the belief that every living being emits an energy field, a belief supported by multiple scientific studies on resonance and frequency. When we as human beings experience dis-​ease, that energy field becomes imbalanced or impaired. Reiki allows us to heal energy fields by transmitting Universal Energy, or Ki Energy, through the hands.

The concept of universal energy can be found throughout both ancient and modern cultures. It is Chi in China, Prana in Hindu India, Mana in Hawaii, Ruah in Hebrew, Vitality in Western Philosophy, and even The Force in popular culture.

When people come to Reiki they either have some experience with alternative energy healing or no experience at all. Whatever your level of experience may be, Reiki is an extremely non-​invasive practice with noticeable positive effects on stress, health, and energy.

Jaclyn tailors her Reiki sessions to each individual that comes to her. No two people in the world are exactly the same. So, no two Reiki sessions will ever be the same. Jaclyn’s goal is to help her clients attain their optimum happiness and peace with their mind, body and spirit. Jaclyn truly believes that when people realize they need to take care of themselves in order to fully live their lives, they begin to turn everything around. Nothing brings Jaclyn more joy than to see a person receiving Reiki and smiling at the end of a session.

History

Established in 2013.

Although Jaclyn has been practicing Reiki and Sekhem-​Krem since she was 13, she came to Los Angeles originally to have a career in Stage Management for Theatrical Performances. However, Jaclyn became sick which was caused by incredible stress from her job and lifestyle. Jaclyn decided to go back to her roots in alternative healing to get herself back on track and to further her training. After many years since this sickness, Jaclyn possesses the highest certifications in Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, and Advanced Sekhem-​Krem. She no longer has the illness, and also no longer has eczema, asthma or knee joint problems. Due to this miracle, Jaclyn decided to share her knowledge with the world and take the plunge to change her whole career around to helping others.

Business Owner

Jaclyn Kalkhurst has over twenty years of experience with the intuitive arts and comes from a long line of healers and seers. She has been studying the art of Reiki since she was 13 and has achieved her Masters certification in Holy Fire/​Karuna Reiki® (ICRT) and Usui Reiki. She also has a certification in Advanced Sekhem-​Khrem healing and will be a certified ICF Life Coach by 2016.
