I was satisfied with Dr. Cha’s service since I have a HMO plan. I’ve went several doctors offices using HMO previously, however the referral service of other doctors’ offices was so difficult to get(compare to Dr. Cha). What I think the most beneficial having HMO is I can received covered benefit through Medical Group aka IPA just paying the copayment which I used to pay $ 15/Health Net. Thus, my point of view of having a good primary doctor through HMO is how well he can refer me to facilities/specialist to have exams or treatment. Dr. Cha’s office has a great referral system and good staffs. In his office he displayed his educational background that he is from Seoul National University_the best medical school in S. Korea and he had USC internship. His office is full every time I go, so either I need an appt or they also accept walk-in. I had blood test, urine test, EKG, Upper GI Endoscopy in the office(paid only $ 15/my copayment) and had referral for Pap Smear, Mammogram, Eye doctor, X-ray of my lower back so far. By the way he moved to a new office which is twice bigger and modern/clean. I am satisfied with Dr. Cha’s service, I strongly recommend him if you are looking for a good doctor in K-town.
