I am a patient at this office and I did my braces with Dr. Nasiry she is super amazing and sweet listens to you every step of the way and I love my smile now a year later I am her receptionist lol !! Funny how things work but you will love her highly recommend.

Yvonne is so amazing that she always answer the phones day or night. Dr. Nasiry is amazing and take her time to make me feel relaxed when she works on me. Cindy makes me laugh all the time.

Great first visit! Comprehensive exam with lots of X-​rays and cleaning. All the staff are very welcoming and warm!

After relocating to SoCal from Northern California. I’ve been struggling to find a great dentist office where they do a great cleaning and don’t try to have me do cosmetics that I don’t need. Whalaa… I think I found them. I’ve had the best cleaning ever, so amazing that my friends even noticed my pearly whites extra sparkle. I had never been to an office where they took their time cleaning away my coffee & tea stains very patiently. Very warm and welcoming! Highly recommend them… Cindy is amazing and very helpful. I will be returning in 6 months to get them cleaned

Friendly front desk but my dental experience was not so great. Fillings done and left way too high. Went back for an adjustment and the dentist was clueless. Her response «I don’t see anything wrong. I don’t know why you have pain». The next day I went to a different dentist in city of Downey, where that dentist found the two fillings to be really high. Truly unnecessary pain

I can see what the rage is about now. The staff at this clinic is awesome. You feel at home with them.
The receptionist is so nice, funny and helpful at all times. Aracely, the dental assistant who attended me is great. She loves talking to her patients about random things. Same with the dentist. Overall i had an awesome experience. Prices for their services are also affordable and they have different payment plans. I am definately going back soon.

This place is awesome. The staff is amazing. I wish I knew names but it really doesn’t matter because the whole staff is cool.
They’ve worked with me and are currently helping my smile improve. Baby steps but it’s worth it.
Best Dentist office I’ve ever have had.

I have been coming to LA Dental for 4 years now. I was happy with my initial treatment but not since. It’s true when other reviews say they will take any opportunity to get you to get work done that you don’t even need. I remember I came for check up/​cleaning and they told me I had to get 5 fillings re-​filled. So I did because I thought it was important. I didn’t realize it was part of their scheme until much later. When I was singing up for invisalign they told me I need 3 more filling re-​filled. I don’t know why it’s necessary when my teeth look and feel fine. Be aware of their in-​house insurance that includes two free cleanings, regardless of whether you already paid for them you are required to use the cleanings within that year, I was not informed of this and ended up wasting two free cleaning that I already paid for. Their cleanings are not that great, all my previous dentists did a much more extensive job, all they did is scratch at my teeth and clean the teeth with that pink stuffs. My old dentist inserted this red things that helped with gum recession and they did other treatments.
When I signed up for invislign the dentist had CareCredit increase my credit limit. They told me as long as I pay everything off within 18 months that I would have no interest. What they failed to inform is that if you don’t pay it all off by then you will get charged interest based on original amount not the amount left owed, I ended up paying $ 1300 of interest charges when I had less than $ 400 left to pay off. My fault I should have done proper research but they should inform their customers of this when pushing them to get care credit treatment.
They did not inform me properly about Invisalign process, I imagine because they knew I would have changed my mind and all they cared about is the money. They did not tell me that they would shave my teeth with a drill, or that they would be cement rock like attachments (which btw ruined my teeth texture). I only saw my dentist once during the entire 2 year long process-​only once during first appointment when they shaved my teeth and added attachments. I never once again was seen by doctor not even at my pre-​final appointment.
After first round of trays they removed attachments and took new impressions. I still had a huge gap left between two teeth-​the same tooth my dentist shaved where there was no gap before treatment. I am convinced the dentist shaved off way too much-​you will see why soon. My teeth felt dull and rough so I google searched what other people’s experience was and they all said they teeth were polished and smooth like before treatment. So I FB messaged my dentist and they said they would do that after my refinement treatment. I had to come back a month later to retake impressions because they were bad so I had to wait 3 months before I got refinement trays. Anyway when I got refinement trays the technician asked if I was just starting the process (she was new), I was confused until I saw my refinements were 3 trays more than first round (17 total), still convinced this because the dentist shaved off too much of my tooth since it was the only thing left to fix. Fast forward to my last appointment, dentist was no there to check my teeth and the dental assistant had no idea it was my last appointment. No one checked my teeth or my bite-​nothing! All they asked if everything was good and said it was so they ordered retainers. They told me I had to wait 3 weeks before attachment would be removed.
Retainers arrived 2 weeks early, again my dentist was not present and a dental assistant removed attachments-​they still felt really rough&dull. I did more research when I got home and everyone else reported their dentist left their teeth as smooth as before treatment. So I assumed I still had more gunk left and came back Saturday. Cindy cleaned off my teeth. Although some parts were left behind most of it was off and I could feel my teeth getting sensitive as if they were shaving off enamel. Well when she was done with the first few they still felt the same-​dull and rough. I didn’t tell her they still felt the same as before-​dull and rough and I left, I didn’t want them to mess up my enamel further.
I came to a realization that it wasn’t the gunk left behind but their tools permanently messed up my teeth texture (10 teeth total), they are no longer shiny and smooth like they were before. I have google searched what other orthodontists used for their invisalign patients and most used several methods of smoothing them out, also other dentists used magnifying glasses to make sure all the gunk was off. Some said they only used drill but that their teeth felt like they did before treatment-​nice and smooth. My only conclusion is they used wrong tools and ruined my teeth. How can I trust a practice like this? I haven’t been seen by the actual doctor since first appt two years ago, unprofessional!
I am never going back here again, I am DONE! All they want is your money.

Let me start by saying my biggest fear in life is going to the dentist. I was traumatized as a 5 year old by the meanest dentist on the planet and it has left me scarred for life. My first experience with Dr. Nasary was almost a year ago, my husband was in the middle of law school finals and a toothed chipped. They took him in last minute no problems and were so nice about the whole ordeal. We have a little guy who wanted to be with his papa while he was getting work done just to hold his hand and not only did they allow him but everyone in that office treated my son so sweet. That first experience left me thinking that I might have found a dentist that i could actually try.
I finally went the other day for an exam and teeth cleaning (I bought their insurance plan which is totally worth it) and I had the most relaxed time at a dentist office. They were beyond nice, explaining everything and they listened to all my questions and fears. Now I am actually excited to finally have a dentist I can trust.

Can I just say «Life Savers»
I’ve been avoiding the dentist until this morning. I woke up with excruciating pain from my wisdom tooth. I took every over the counter medicine I could get my hands on but it wasn’t cutting it. Since my Dentist is out of town I didn’t know who and where to go. As an avid Unilocaler I decided to give it a shot. After an hr of searching and reading I stumbled upon LA Dental Clinic and was convinced instantly after reading all the great reviews that this was the Dentist I was going to give a try.
Called them at 9:30 am today and the lovely lady (I forgot her name) was so sweet and helpful. She knew I was in so much pain and I was lucky enough to get a same day appt. at 130pm! (Thank God)
As excited I was that I was going to finally get my tooth taken out I was dreading it! I hate needles and pain. Lol but surprisingly it wasn’t as painful as the other time I got all 3 out. The Dr. Numbed my gums just enough and a few yanks it was out. I was surprised how fast it was!
Overall my experience with everyone at the office was amazing! They have a wonderful staff and make you want to just sit and chat with them all day! I definitely will be sending anyone I know that needs dental work so they can have the same experience that I received!

Evaluating the work of a dentist is a lot like trying to judge an auto mechanic — they could be incompetent and/​or ripping you off and you wouldn’t necessarily know. That being said, I have complete trust and appreciation for the work of Dr. Nasiry and her staff. Normally don’t go into much detail in Unilocal reviews, but here is a list of what I was so impressed by:
I came in with sever pain from an infection that had gone to the pulp or root of my tooth. The only way I could dull the pain was by applying cold water or ice directly to the tooth, but I was all out of ice by the time I finished my paperwork. Doctor Nasiry’s staff happily fetched me cup after cup of cold water to deaden the pain while I waited for the novocaine to kick in.
The office was fully equipped with state of the art equipment I never saw in my last dentist’s office. The equipment kept my mouth open, my tongue protected and water well away from the back of my mouth. All of this made the experience much more comfortable — I didn’t have to struggle to keep my mouth open during drilling and didn’t feel like I was going to choke the whole time.
The staff also went down to my car to fill my parking meter using the doctor’s petty cash to do so.
Multiple X-​rays throughout the root canal to be extra sure all decay was removed.
A very knowledgeable and well trained dental assistant (I’ve never seen that before!).
The doctor and staff were also very attentive and did something really rare — they listened to my experience to gain insight. This is so amazing to me because most of my experience with doctors and professional staff has made me feel dismissed and that the doctor doesn’t care for my experience of whatever condition I’ve come in for.
Totally above and beyond service!

This was our first visit and from the time we started communicating with them they have been nothing but professional and on point. The staff is friendly and polite. The office is very nice, they offer a variety of drinks from their Kurig machine. The best part is the amazing views from exam rooms. All high tech new machinery. They were able to get my kids in and out within an hour. My kids like the place and we will be back and refer friends.

Seriously Great! Super friendly staff that actually seem like they love their job! All the ladies were very polite and very considerate. They did a great job with my teeth cleaning and they all even stayed late to accommodate me. I think these employees might be nicer than the people that work at trader Joe’s! if your in the area you would be doing yourself a disfavor by not supporting this practice. 10 thumbs up.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Nasiry and her entire staff– especially Cindy!
I went to Dr. Nasiry for the first time in October 2013 when I read about «6 month smile.»
My history at the ortho/​dentist isn’t that great– and I had already been wearing Invisalign for a year and a half when it decided to stop working.
I had visited MANY other dentists/​orthos who told me that I shouldn’t have been put in Invisalign in the first place (DR NASIRY DID NOT START MY TREATMENT) — and to have straight teeth I will need a surgery to correct my jaw, regular braces for 4 years etc etc.
At 27, and just moving to LA for acting– those were not options for me. I just wanted my teeth to be straight!!!
She worked with me on payments, and financing and we started treatment 2 weeks later– with the Six Month Smile.
The un-​noticeable BARELY painful braces were put on November 13^th and came off exactly 6 months to the day later. Today is exactly 4 month to the date I got my braces off– and my teeth look great (and Im awful about wearing my retainer). They are not perfect, but that is not what I wanted. I didn’t want chicklets in my mouth– I wanted my teeth– to be as straight as they could go, and Dr Nasiry achieved this with all her quirks and methods. True– she isn’t an orthodontist. She’s better! Im so glad I went to LA Dental– it was a far drive, a lot of visits, and cost a lot of money– but at the end of the day what I am left with is completely priceless.

I hate giving bad reviews on Unilocal,but I hope this helps someone else. I loved Dr. Nasiry’s friendliness and her staff. I felt at home when I came to her office. Parking was annoying, and the neighborhood was hard to get to for me.
The reason I came was for the $ 500 adult speed orthodontic treatment she was advertising on google. This was supposed to be invisible braces and last 6 months only.
When I came in for a cleaning, I was told I had a gum infection and required a deep cleaning at $ 1400+ and had 3 cavities to be filled for $ 1000 more, and then my wisdoms pulled for $ 350 each, and additional $ 150 for anasthetic as it was not included. and then finally — a conventional braces plan for $ 4000. (I had specifically said that I only wanted a cosmetic effect, not a bite fix, and only my top row of teeth… she must have forgotten.
JUST my wisdom teeth pulled will be $ 350 out of my pocket after insurance.
this was almost $ 7k… I had to get another opinion.
I then found Dr. Yashari close to my job and he did free x-​rays and exam and noted that my gums were healthy and I did not have any cavities. He looked around for several minutes to find these «imaginary cavities» and said that they just did not exist. He also pulled my wisdom teeth for $ 50 deductible and that was ALL I PAID. He also noted that the cleaning that Dr Nasiry’s staff did was inadequate. (All they did was brush me and floss me, I do that twice a day anyways, nothing special, 15 minutes)
I now have invisalign for cheaper than the conventional braces that Dr. Nasiry quoted me, and will be completely aligned in 7 months and fix my top teeth AND bottom crowding.
the two stars are for friendliness. I cant say they ever made me feel bad, but it’s the squeezing me for cash that turned me off.
Maybe these dental school student loans and high end equipment leases have dentists strapped for cash???
