Established in 1963.

We’re a family owned and operated full service audio & video transfer facility. We opened our doors in Hollywood in 1963 as Parseghian Photography and then transitioned into the audio, video industry hence becoming Parseghian Productions and online as avtransferhouse. We specialize in transfering most audio & video formats to digital media.

These guys are fantastic. I went in yesterday to get a blu-​ray copy I urgently needed for a film festival only to find out that the guy who usually does this is on vacation. Instead of turning me away, Dan decided to learn how to make my copy for me with the help of the person on vacation. They both went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and did so efficiently and with great professionalism and kindness! Thank you so much for your help!

Hamik is awesome! In the time it took a competing business to even respond to my email, I had discovered HAVTH on Unilocal,phoned Hamik and got a quote, gone down with my hard drive, and left everything in Hamik’s capable hands. Picked everything up at the end of the day. Was blown away by Hamik’s ability to multi-​task (the shop was busy), dedicate his attention to me, solve my issues, give me exactly what I wanted, and treat me like the most important customer he’s ever had. I have to add to the many 5-​star ratings earned by Hollywood Audio Video Transfer House. While located in a slightly scruffy part of east Hollywood, the store itself is huge, beautiful, and immaculate. Hamik was very knowledgeable and did my two jobs (one video, one audio) with very short turnaround. There was a little problem with the audio product but he fixed it quickly and courteously. If I have any other transfer jobs I’ll definitely come back, and I’ll also recommend this store to any friends who need this type of service.

Best prices and best service hands down! We had all our family VHS and Betamax videos transferred to hard drive. They found a few tapes that obviously didn’t need to be transferred (TV shows) and a bunch of duplicates. They also repaired a damaged tape at no charge. They got the job done quickly and even gave us a discount because some of the tapes were only a few minutes in length. Gotta love em! Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Old family videos are like a treasure and it’s hard to trust some random places to do the conversions for you. After all the superlative 5 Star reviews on Unilocal,I figured I would be crazy to go anywhere else for my personal film and video needs. I cannot write enough superlatives about Hollywood Audio Video and especially Hamik who manages and does an amazing job. WOW! This is not service. This is true partnership. He went the extra mile in every way, doing the work right on the spot! i mean man, I left with my job done and I got to sit with Hamik and have fun while doing it. I also transferred an old student film. He cleaned it up, repaired the film, and then did pitch perfect digitization. I just couldn’t believe the service, the detail, and the friendliness. What a place!

I needed an old VHS converted to DVD, and Hamik was great. He called me almost as soon as I left to let me know it wouldn’t take very long, in case I had traveled far. I was able to wait on the premises, and he had it done in less than an half an hour. He even charged me only $ 10, instead of the normal $ 15, since the video was so short! He made sure to include a card in the bag with the DVD in case I had any problems. Friendly, personalized service. Instant results. Great value. Highest recommendation.

This place is awesome. I needed to get a video converted to blu-​ray ASAP on a saturday for a film festival deadline and everywhere was closed. I found this place and decided to try them out. Im really glad I did because they are really easy to get to and know what they are doing. I was in and out in about half and hour with my blu rays and as happy as can be. Their rates are great. Make sure you ask for Hamik!

I had a poor quality VHS tape that needed to be transferred to DVD quickly. The guy who helped me did a terrific job and the turnaround time was only one day. Only $ 12 too! He even did the transfer twice at no extra cost because of the tape’s questionable quality and called me to let me know of the problems. Very friendly and will use them again in the future if the need arises. By the way, they are actually located in an Armenian music store– I had to call to confirm it was the right place.
