Thanks to Nik and team for the amazing same-​day service — custom rims, tires plus custom painted calipers and center caps. This is our second time to get rims at Globe and there will definitely be a third!

Not happy about getting a nail in our tire, but thrilled and relieved to have found Globe Tire. We were in L.A. for the day and on our way out of Beverly Hills was alarmed to see that we had to get a tire and fast. We have a Dodge Durango and after calling around town and the dealer was told it was a special order. Greg
at Globe Tire found the tire for us and had it on in less than 30 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Thank you for the great service and reasonable prices.

I had a single flat tire. They were very busy but fit me right in with little wait. The people were very professional and honored a free Unilocal flat tire fix coupon. Many nice expensive cars were here so they know how to be delicate. Rims left unscratched. Nick was very helpful and courteous. Definitely will be replacing my next set here.

My husband has been wanting to get the brake calipers on his car painted for years, so I decided to surprise him for his birthday this year. I know nothing about brake caliper painting so I felt like kind of an idiot calling around asking for prices, but Greg at Globe was super nice, and they had the cheapest price of any place I called.
They were able to get me in within a couple of days, and the job was completed quickly — the paint was done in one day, then they kept it overnight to dry. They even sent us photos of the paint before it went on for us to see the color. Unfortunately, when it was on the calipers, the color wasn’t quite what my husband was hoping for — he was hoping for a match to his dark blue car, and the first attempt came out too bright.
The reason this is a five star review is because when we went back to them, the guys at Globe offered to re-​do the job just for the cost of paint (next to nothing). The second paint job was absolutely perfect — an exact match to the car. I believe it was Nick who helped us out this second time, and he did a fantastic job. We’re very happy with the results, and it’s so refreshing to get such good customer service and people who care about doing the job right.

Blew a tire on the way to a biz meeting, and got jerked around by the first garage I limped into. Needless to say, I was in a stellar mood from all the above — but just walking into Globe I honestly started to feel better. Gregory is the frustrated car customer whisperer. He was so calm and polite — he immediately turned my day around. The first garage insisted that I needed to change all 4 tires and that my breaks would kill me the second I left the shop. Greg had a good look, said he understood the concerns of the previous shop– but that the urgency was misplaced. He walked me through why we couldn’t fix the flat, and then showed and explained the tread on the other 3. Instead of the scare tactic $ 700+ quote I received from the previous shop, I walked out of Globe with a new tire, plus a lot of information and road confidence for just over $ 100. Really, really appreciate it! Will be back!

Gregory is fantasic, professional and very customer service oriented, which is a dead art these days! I got a great deal and waitied a reasonable amount of time for my tires. The service is beyond great. Most tire places can be tricky and a game, but this is all legit and you get the best deal for your money. Worth a visit!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I just had to this time. Their service was AMAZING! Woke up this morning with a flat tire due to a screw. During lunch time I found this place on Unilocal and I noticed that they had a walk on offer for a free flat tire repair. Decided to take my car in, and Nick helped me out. Nick was very detailed and quick about everything. It took me less than a minute to fill out the paperwork, went back to work, and 30 minutes later my car was ready. For pick up I just signed for my free repair and I was on my way. The entire process was hassle free and just FREE all together. I recommend this place to everyone!

AMAZING.
My right front tire blew out upon impact with «something», who knows what. It not only blew up the tire, but it damaged both right side wheels and bent them. My wheels are about $ 1200 a piece and I was not looking forward to how much this would cost. Greg Chang took care of me, got the wheels repaired (didn’t need to replace them!) and the tire replaced in no time. I met the other staff as I was there and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. So happy to have my car back! This place is awesome.

Gregory and his expert crew at Globe Tire take great care of me. Most of all they’re trustworthy. The dealer told me I needed new tires so I went to Globe. Gregory inspected all 4 and said the chunk missing was just aesthetic, no danger. Then when I came in again for inspection after the dealer said «you need new tires,» Greg said no. Give her another 2000 miles or so.” So, they were providing service, not sales. Now I have my new Michelins and will stop on by to get the pressure checked for free. Trustworthy, fair prices and excellent service! I wish I could say that about all my automotive experiences!

The team at Globe is simply the best! I called up Greg Chang and he got me a good deal on a set of tires. I also had my calipers painted matte black and, the TPMS sensors replaced. The guys at Globe knocked it out faster than I expected and did a great, detailed job.

Growing up in Los Angeles, I have memories of seeing fine cars being serviced at Globe so when I pulled in to get one of the rims on my dream car fixed (I scratched it parking, ugh) I had confidence that I was in the right spot. My experience exceeded my expectations. Greg Henderson greeted me warmly, listened intently, offered suggestions and just made my experience
A+. Greg even had the tech explain the work that was being done so that I would be completely knowledgeable about what was going on with the paint etc… Greg knows the value of being helpful, professional and thoughtful. He is just a cool cat.

I have bought a new car but kept my 21 inch wheels. The new car is white and I wanted to have my set of wheels black to match the pearl white color.
This shop offered a good price and after I came to drop off the wheels, the customer rep Greg Chan suggested that I chose glossy black instead of matte.
The turn around was good, they missed the deadline by one day because they paint the wheels in a different location and I was too far away to pick them up in the evening but I picked them up the next day. They said it’d be an hour to swap wheels but it only took them about 30 min to do that, bag my other wheels and have the car ready for me.
Most importantly, Greg was so spot on about choosing glossy black paint! The car looks awesome with that color and I’m really happy I changed my mind thanks to his advice!!!
I can recommend this business and will use their services in the future.

Took my wheels here to get them powder coated. Was helped by Mike who offered me loaner wheels so that I could use my car in the meantime. The process only took a few days and my wheels look great! Good price too. Thank you Mike and Globe Tire & Motorsports!

Mechanic broke my car key and they offered NOTHING in exchange, not even a discount on tires they tried selling me. Fungool. Go somewhere else.

Warning. Globe Tire has just been DOWNGRADED by the Better Business Bureau. In addition they have a history of never resolving claims or disputes. Use Globe Tire AT YOUR OWN RISK.

These guys killed it. I took my car here because I had a nail in my tire. This other place QUICK LANE in NOHO told me the nail was too close to the sidewall and I needed new tires, 4 new tires actually because they all have to match. What a load of crap.
My boys at GLOBE had me in and out in 5 minutes, tire patched, my wallet happy. Only $ 20 versus those ass-​clowns at Quick Lane who were going to charge me $ 1000 for new tires.

Came in late afternoon because I had a nail in my tire. It took about a little over ½ an hour for it to be fixed and got it done for free :). There’s a Unilocal check in for a free flat tire fix but didn’t have to even show the check in to get it done.

Because Unilocal just deleted my original post due to personal attacks, i will make this one more PC.
I take my m3 here for a wheel alignment. Next thing they say is that they cannot align it due to a blown strut and a worn out wheel bearing. Now the gentleman who works there says they want $ 1K to fix a front blown strut and wheel bearing. What makes this more interesting is how do you quote an aftermarket strut (KW Variant 2 coilover strut)?
Anyways just spent this past weekend inspecting all the struts front and back after speaking to a techinician from KW who gave me instructions to check for blown dampeners. All is good! I just replaced both front wheel bearings. Both were still good!!! Cant believe these guys just cold heartedly lied to me with a smile??? First time i came to the LA location. what a disheartening experience. Im going back to Manhattan Beach Global Motorsprts, back to my usual spot where they were always legit when diagnosing my car. MANHATTAN Beach all the way!
