First… I have to say I’ve never been treated with as much respect with any other auto shop in my life than I have with this one. Mike and his crew are genuine people who really take pride taking care of their customers, I can honestly say I found a TRUE and HONEST auto shop. Highly recommend if you have any problems or concerns with your car you stop by this establishment and talk to Mike, or anyone that’s working and you’ll see for yourself. All future car concerns I’ll be heading back to these guys with no doubts.

Moved to Culver City and went on Unilocal to find a mechanic. Sometimes the reviews on Unilocal can be misleading, so I took my chances with Auto Xperts. They are a five star shop ! Finally a place I can go, not be upsold, and talked to like a human. Thanks Mike for taking me in on short notice, car is running great !

I came here with a shaking car and very little knowledge of what goes on under its hood. The first shop I went to tried to take advantage of that and overcharge me by nearly $ 2,000. These guys were honest, straightforward, patient, and fixed the shaking plus break pads and a few small maintenance issues for less than half that. Mike (owner) Jim (manager?) and Al (awesome mechanic!) were all friendly, helpful, honest guys and very pleasant to deal with. I will be back (though hopefully not soon) and will refer friends and family to them.

It’s refreshing in this day in age to find a business with INTEGRITY. No up sells, No BS, straight forward diagnostic at a fair price! Mike and his trained staff know how to treat customers and provide a great service to the community. I’ve found my new go to mechanic. Thanks again Mike!

I needed to replace my tiers and I saw the reviews on auto expert, then decided to give them a call. Guess what their prices were cheaper than others and their service was excellent .Mike the owner is super cool and I will send all my peeps over there. good job Mike.

These guys are freaking amazing! I made a Unilocal account just to review them. My husband and I live just around the corner from them, and three things have happened to us unexpectedly over the last few years — we ran over a nail and our tire popped, our window fell into the car door, and today, our starter stopped working. The first time, they changed our tire for us because we had forgotten our jack. No charge. Second time, they pulled the window out and braced it so that it wouldn’t fall again. We were extremely low on finances at the time, so we were so grateful when they didn’t charge us — again! And today, we got our car towed to the street right next to their shop, because we wanted to be sure to give them the business. Unfortunately, on Saturdays, they only do minor repairs, but the owner was extremely helpful and patient and he and one of the mechanics got the car to start so that we could get it to another shop. They were willing to help us out, even if it meant we’d be taking our business elsewhere. Even though we have never paid them a dime [although we did drop off a yummy bag of filled croissants ;)], they have helped us numerous time and are genuinely good people.

Very happy to have found a trustworthy mechanic. The owner has been in the business for over 20 years and is always very honest about my vehicle’s condition. I routinely ask him to perform a thorough inspection on my 02 Honda; sometimes it’s $ 500 in repairs, sometimes it’s just an oil change. It’s taken me a while to find this sort of reliability in LA and I’m glad I’ve come across these guys.

Honestly the best experience at a tire/​auto shop I’ve had. Mike and his guys are super friendly and professional. I live in the Bay Area but I’ve decided it’s worth coming down here for all my future tire services. Thank you!

This review is long overdue! Auto Xperts was recommended to me by my neighbor a few years ago after my previous shop closed. The service I have received from Mike and his staff has been so great! I have taken my car in for simple oil changes, tires, and some major services, and the service is always the same — friendly, fast, fair and helpful. Mike is always willing to fit me in and accommodate my packed schedule, which is so rare for any business, let alone a very busy car repair shop. If you’re looking for a great experience, go see Mike and his staff!

Had a flat tire with a nail in it, they were able to salvage the tire and have me back on the road in 20 minutes. Will definitely go back.

I’ve taken my Mini Cooper to Auto Xperts twice in the last two months (tires, struts, brakes, etc), and now plan to be a long term customer. I just moved to LA and figure it’s hard to find a good honest shop. Mike and Jim from the office are great guys and straight shooters and I can say I now trust them since getting to know them a bit. I shopped around their prices are very fair and they’ll give discounts. Glad I found them!

It sucks being a girl that doesn’t know much about cars other than them being nice looking and fast so when something doesn’t seem right I’m extremely hesitant to get my car checked out due to always being taken advantage of. Thanks to the honesty and loyalty of auto Xperts I no longer have that issue, I use them for all my car needs without thinking twice and trust they’ll do the job quickly and accurately for a nominal price. I’ve been going to Auto Xperts for about 5 years now. They have offered nothing but excellent service and pricing. They do great work and are honest. The owner (and mechanics) is personable and friendly and has the knowledge and experience to get the job done right.
I highly recommend them for anybody that doesn’t want the run around. Mike (owner) can help out. Whether your know nothing about cars, or are an expert, Mike can help out.

As a female, I’m usually very cautious about taking my car in for a repair because a lot of shady mechanics try to take advantage of any situation telling you that your car requires more work than necessary. I needed a very quick fix and decided to swing by Auto Xperts during my lunch hour. The guys who work here are beyond professional and friendly. For coming by to get such a small service done, you would think they just want you out of there. It was the exact opposite. Mike’s customer service was amazing, and I got the ultimate discount.

I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else… I don’t take my car anywhere else. Anytime my friends need a recommendation for a good mechanic, this is where I send them. The reviews speak for themselves, and I certainly can’t say enough. To find a good, trustworthy mechanic in such a big city can be pretty difficult. I brought my 2003 Honda Civic to Mike back in 2009 and I haven’t looked back. He’s the only person I trust with my Rav 4, and no matter which kind of car I may have in the future, I know the only shop I’ll even think of patronizing.
Mike and the guys at Auto Xperts are professional, efficient, and exceedingly friendly. He truly values his clientele and is patient with any questions or concerns they may have. Walk into his shop and you’ll encounter people who have followed him to the location in Culver City, and have brought their cars to him for years, and that means something. Nestled in a little corner of downtown Culver City, you could blink and miss it. I’ve witnessed someone who had the misfortune of their car breaking down on Washington and Helms, but they had the good fortune that it broke down in front of Auto Xperts… I’m sure they realized later just how lucky that was.
If you need a new mechanic or a better mechanic, or you need more than a half-​ass oil change from some franchise that only sees you as a number, whether your car needs some overdue TLC or basic maintenance, this is the shop you want to bring your car.

YOu know how tough it is to work in the car repair industry and maintain an average above 4.5 stars!!! Mike and the guys here really care about your car and your safety on the road and do everything they can to assist.
I went in to replace 2 of my tires and Mike walked me thru why they were wearing down so quickly and a solution to prevent future rapid wear and tear. (I had different size tires all around my Xterra).
I know dick about cars and tires and I had been getting terrible advice from others repair shops but now that I have met Auto Xperts I am happy that I have a shop I can turn to and turn my friends to.

I have taken my car here exclusively after a terrible experience with another auto repair center. Auto Xperts has been completely trustworthy and dependable for the following reason:

–accurate troubleshooting so the repair gets done correctly the first time
–candid, honest and accountable
I believe Mike is the owner, and everything thing he has stated to correct in my repairs, he has followed through on. It’s rare to find an auto repair shop with a heart. Thank you Auto Xperts for making my experience painless and pleasant… You’re the best:)
