Established in 1980.

Located in a building which is a historical landmark, the office was established by Sid Solomon with a deep desire to maintain what is vital: oral health. Dr. Soloman and his staff are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Dr. Soloman is a specialist in every since of the word. He graduated from UCLA with honors, then went on to graduate from a top twenty dental school (check out how hard Dental schools are to get into, it puts med school to shame). He is also an associate professor at UCLA. In addition, it seems like he has 100 different certifications in every facet of Dentistry.
I have extremely serious TMJ, with 14 symptoms. If you have TMJ, you know how serious it is, and how it can affect your mental well-​being and desire to carry on. The good news is, there’s hope! It takes a while, but be patient, it will get better. He understands the psychological ramifications of dental pain. Dr. Soloman even gave me a discount on my replacement Orthosis (I don’t know if I should mention this, heh). He is such a kind and generous person.
Shop around, treating TMJ correctly can be on the expensive side, but Soloman’s prices are extremely competitive. Don’t settle for anyone else, you might be waisting your time, and making the problem worse. If your serious about treating your TMJ, and drastically changing your mental well being (for the better), there is only one place to go: Soloman’s.
I, literally, have never left a Unilocal review in my life. I felt compelled to write this. I even had to create an account. Also, Dr. Soloman has three different practice locations, so he is convenient to get to from anywhere in Los Angeles.
Get the help you need and see the best! From TMJ to Botox to Cleanings, he is the man to see. Finally, his wife is amazing. When you go there, it has a family atmosphere, and you feel like you are part of it.

I was referred to this office by one of my coworkers and had only heard great things. I went in for a cleaning and while everyone was very pleasant, I was not aware of what type of cleaning I was receiving, nor the cost that this would incur, which resulted in almost $ 1k for a first time visit. Furthermore, I called and asked for an itemized receipt and was never sent this, despite calling twice. And lastly, once I requested to receive my x-​rays, they replied that they had been lost. If they had followed through on any of these items, I would have been more inclined to give them another shot, but unfortunately I am very disappointed.

Dr. Solomon’s team continues to impress me year after year. On a prior visit, Vilma had cleaned my teeth and was so good (!) that I was a little disappointed (temporarily) that she wasn’t assigned to my recent appointment. Instead, Dr. Singh (a new-​to-​me dentist) handled my care. She was fabulous. She did a couple minor fillings, and an inlay. I was nervous (as is my usual nature w/​all things dental), but everyone I worked with at the office went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Stellar.

Not only is Dr. Solomon the BEST dentist/​TMJ specialist I have ever been to but he also has the most kind and welcoming staff that go out of their way to make you feel special and comfortable!
I’ve always had horrible jaw pain, headaches and everything under the sun when it comes to my TMJ. Since I was 13 I’ve had so many different treatments and none have worked until coming to Dr. Solomon. It’s so nice to go to an office where you feel like they actually care about you and understand your pain. Since my initial TMJ treatment, I no longer have any of those horrible symptoms and I feel like I’m finally back to myself. I’ve even begun Invisalign to permanently change my bite and I’m so excited for the final results. Dr. Solomon and staff are amazing!!!

As before I was kindly welcomed and shown to my appointment on time. This time I was able to speak with Sid, and he checked on my discomfort himself. I had mistaken the pain as a toothache when it was related to the gums. There was nothing wrong with the filling that was completed in the last appointment. He was professional and informative on the options to take moving forward. I appreciate this greatly.
They proceeded to give me a thorough cleaning and did a wonderful job. Overall after expressing my concerns they were properly addressed. I look forward to going back for my next cleaning. This clinic truly stepped up and did a fantastic job.

I have suffered from TMJ for the past 6 years. I tried so many different remedies that only gave me short term relief. This past year my TMJ became worse then ever. I was in so much. I quickly went online and was led to Dr. Sid Solomon’s website. I called the moment they opened the next day. I expressed to them how much pain I was in and they took me in that day I called. I feel extremely blessed that this all aligned for me so quickly. Dr. Solomon and his staff made me feel so safe and comfortable.
I had a consultation with Dr. S and he explained everything about TMJ to me. Everything I needed to know to understand what was happening with my body. He then explained his method for healing TMJ.
Dr. Solomon’s method works! It’s been about a month and 90% of my symptoms have vanished! I couldn’t be happier. Everyday gets better and better. If you or anyone you know suffers from TMJ I highly recommend Dr. Sid Solomon. My pain is gone and my life is back :)

I am a HUGE fan of Dr/​Sid Solomon’s office. The office staff is very nice and incredibly accommodating around their patients. They work very quickly and I always get in and out much faster than I would have at other dentists in the past. They have exceptional customer service and are very friendly, each of the employee’s treats you very kindly. I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a dentist on the West-​side of Los Angeles. And they have FREE parking!

I don’t think any person has done as much research on TMJ and specialist for it as yours truly. After all the hours online, on the phone, even a few consultations here and there… I finally went with Dr. Solomon and I can’t be more thankful to him for all of his honest and compassionate care. He stuck with me through thick and thin and I am a changed (and healed) person because of his orthosis. His treatment method was smart, scientific and didn’t need surgery.
There are many TMJ doctors and experts out there, but there is only one Dr. Sid Solomon. Thanks Dr. Sid– you are one of a kind!

A professional and welcoming staff! Setting up the appointment with Fay was easy and quick as she was very sweet on the phone.
This was my first time getting my teeth whitened professionally and I can’t stop smiling now. I came in and filled out some paperwork before my appointment. Welma was the one who did my teeth whitening and was very thorough and explained the entire process. Dr. Solomon also came in to introduce himself which I thought was really nice, he seemed very easygoing and professional. He gave a brief introduction to the process and assured me my teeth won’t glow in the dark, whew!
The process took about three 15 minute sessions and is pretty much painless, it does require your patience though! You can’t move too much during the process, no phones either so it was a good way for me to just take a nap. Welma was nice to leave behind a bell to ring in case I needed anything. I liked how they compared the current color of my tooth to match their set of shades of color they have, and you can compare it afterwards to see how much whiter it got. I improved by 4 shades with visible difference!
Keep in mind my teeth is sensitive so I did receive higher sensitivity pains afterwards, nothing like some ibuprofen can’t fix. You can’t drink any colored water/​foods for the remaining of the day. Also, it might be best to not drink super hot or cold beverages for those who have a little more sensitive teeth. The next day I had no more sensitivity and can enjoy my pearly whites. The whole process takes about 1 hr 15 minutes and leave time for filling out paperwork beforehand.
The office is conveniently located close to work with plenty of street parking and behind their office. Dr. Solomon also has offices in Thousand Oaks and West Hills.
Overall, a really friendly and warm staff in a nice facilities and convenient location.

Awesome, gentle dentist!
I visited Dr. Solomon when I was in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and the whole place is amazing.
He is so nice, warm and friendly. Dr. Solomon explains everything in easy-​to-​understand terms. He is extremely knowledgeable and really takes his time.
The office is very soothing. It is very homey and spa-​like. They offered me coffee, tea and cookies when I arrived.
He stayed late to see me and his staff is about as friendly and caring as you could ever want. They really treated me like family.
I highly recommend him!

The service and quality of this establishment is really unparalleled. I’ve been to several dentists’ offices in my lifetime Just this year alone I’ve been four times because of my wisdom teeth. I came to CCIND for several reasons: whitening, cleaning and TMJ.
I hadn’t gotten my teeth whitened and cleaned in a long time. So I with was nice to pamper my teeth for once. The procedure took about an hour and half. They didn’t make me wait in the waiting room and I was seen right away!!! I really hate that other dentists schedule appointments and then make you wait. But CCIND even called me the night before to confirm my appointment. The paperwork was quick and they even took a photo so they could remember my face. I thought. It was a nice personal touch.

There is parking in the back!!! LA is notorious for traffic and lack of parking; so I really appreciate when establishments have parking spots available.

Questions for the dentist
Questions for the dentist you say?
Questions bother most front office staff, dentists and their assistants. They just don’t have time for you.
That’s just not the case at CCIND!
I had tons of questions for Nadar in the front office. I had tons of questions for Wilma and then for Dr. Sid. They were all professionally and patiently answered. Best of all these questions were answered with warm smiles. Even better, they aren’t condescending here like so many «professionals» out there. They break all the info down into plain English instead of trying to impress you with gobbledygook jargon.
I came in for my first teeth whitening ever. I wasn’t scared at all and really there is no reason to be. The teeth whitening process, which lasts three 15 minute sessions, is virtually painless. Bring an ipod so you can listen to something while you sit in the dentist’s chair. You can’t text or take calls during the process so I insist, don’t forget your ipod.
The moment I walked in to the office I could tell the whitening was going to be well done. The façade and the interior are very aesthetically pleasing. They have a nice Spanish/​Colonial Mexican look going on here. The office interior is a warm and inviting space. Have you ever been to a dentist’s office that had a cold ambience? Not here! The bathroom is immaculate and has nice décor. Cleanliness is key in a dental office and you see it everywhere here so it’s pretty obvious that they give it the proper importance in all aspects. If they have a clean, orderly office you can totally confide in their dental work!
The office is conveniently located for me as I work on the West side now. They have a lot in the rear so you won’t have to pay for parking.
I’m very happy with CCIND and recommend it to anyone that wants great dental work along with a smile!

FULL DISCLOSURE: before yesterday, I hadn’t been to the dentist in a VERY LONG TIME.
I mean long; embarrassingly long; like I’m not even going to tell you how long because you’re going to be grossed out.
This period of lax oral hygiene was due partially to a lack of dental insurance, but also because as the years ticked by, I grew more and more convinced that the accumulated plaque buildup was the only thing keeping my teeth from falling out of my mouth (again, gross right??).
So when I had the chance to check out Dr. Solomon and his crew, I took a deep breath and made the appointment. Now, having made it to the other side, I can confidently say I’m happy I finally bit the bullet.
First off, the office was quite comfortable and relaxing. Nothing like the austere waiting rooms of yore with fumes of novocaine wafting about. Actually, there was no smell at all – what a relief. One whiff of that scent can send me into a panic.
My hygienist, Wilma, was THE BEST. Great chair-​side manner; a calm presence who did not lecture me about how lazy I am about flossing (I know! I know!). The cleaning, which I was most scared about, was not even close to as torturous as I thought it was going to be. Wilma was fast, gentle, and recommend several products that would help me get better at-​home results. She also loaded me up with a shit-​ton of floss so I’d be prepared wherever I go – no excuses!
My time with Dr. Solomon was brief but pleasant. After taking a look at my x-​rays, he found four small cavities that need filling, and suggested I get my permanent retainer removed, as it’s aiding in plaque buildup. He said, considering my lag time between visits, that the state of my mouth is really quite healthy, which to me was a pleasant surprise, as I was especially worried my gums, which tend to bleed easily. But no, no sign of gum disease.
Going in, I was expecting the worst, but after my experience with Dr. Solomon and his staff, I am now a hearty advocate of regular oral care, and would recommend them to anyone looking for superior, amiable dental service.

A warm welcome as soon as I open the door! And a comfortable seating area to boot.
Being that is was my first time there, a lovely woman gave me a full tour of the facilities. They’ve achieved a great balance of modern, clean, and comfortable. After the grand tour, she offered me a sit in the relaxation room (with massage chair), while I wait for my room to be ready.
Once seated in my room, Dr. Solomon promptly came in and greeted me. He gave me a thorough inspection, followed with x-​rays. Super friendly, professional, and totally not abrasive. After my given my dental plan, a really friendly hygienist performed my cleaning. I was out the door in under an hour.
Oh, and she suggested to bring in headphones to listen to music while you get worked on. Novel idea.
Since living in LA, I’ve sort of hopped around dentists trying to find the right fit, and I believe I found it.
