Located in Eagle Rock, but also serving Glendale, Pasadena, highland Park, La Canada, La Crescenta, Silverlake, Los Feliz. We are a music and dance school offering private music lessons in Songwriting, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Voice, Drums, Bass, Violin, Viola, Cello, Harp, Saxophone, Flute, oboe, Clarinet and DJ lessons. Brand new students are welcome. Early Childhood Music and Movement Classes for ages 0 – 7 including Mommy and Me, Preschool Music, and Music fundamentals («pick an instrument!») class. Our dance school offers ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern dance, tap and is an official Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy. We also offer creative dance for ages 2 – 3 yrs. All teachers are University trained. Regular recitals and performing opportunities are available for all students. Workshops, Rock Band, Recording, DJ and Songwriting. History

Established in 2008.

With an MM and BM in music respectively, there wasn’t a lot of real world advice in music school. Educators for over 25 years, we decided we wanted to do music and dance education differently. We want our students to compose/​improvise and create art that came from them as well as the book or teacher. We want our young students to have true understanding of concepts not robotic recall. We want music and dance to become a part of them so that they continue not only enjoying these things for a lifetime but to actually still play and dance for the rest of their lives. Lofty goals, surely, but it’s what we believe is possible. Everyone should know this joy.

Business Owner

Bloom School of Music and Dance features teachers that truly care about music and dance education. In addition to vibrant music and dance classes for babies, toddlers, preschool age children and school age children, older students can choose private lessons. Piano lessons, guitar lessons, violin lessons, drum lessons, saxophone lessons, flute lessons, voice lessons, singing lessons are just a few of the music lessons available. Dance classes feature ballet classes, tap classes, hip hop classes, modern dance classes, creative dance classes and jazz dance classes. All ages are welcome, from babies to adults. There are plenty of opportunities for students to perform from annual recitals to our bi-​annual Composers’ Living Room Concerts. It is our mission to provide students of all ages an atmosphere where they are free to learn, experiment and create in ways that will lead them to a lifetime enjoyment of music.
