I’m a fan of supporting local businesses & turns out this place is new. I just moved to this area in March & so happy to meet Tina. I’d encourage you to give her a shot, esp. if you aren’t a high maintenance person ;P… I say that because the place isn’t that big and clean, but Tina is great which exceeds your overall experience
My experience: Gone there 3x.
1^st time: Got a layer haircut and I got compliments from my girlfriends.
2^nd time: Got a scalp treatment in June and it was a long tedious process and rough massage, but at the end my head felt so nice for over a week.
3^rd time: I did a regular perm and loved how it was wavy but not too loose like my previous perms at another salon in Ktown. I was going to Maestro’s for a bday dinner, so I asked if she could style it. Since I’ve gone there a couple times already, she did that for FREE! A formal up-​do w/​lots of poppy pins, etc. :)
Stylist: Tina is super friendly and sincerely caring. She’s the only stylist there, so she’s very attentive and doing everything by herself. She speaks Korean and English. She had her own salon in S Korea and use to teach beauty classes there. She’s a very youthful woman and enjoys making haircuts personal
I luckily never had a bad experience, but she always welcomes me to come back if I want her to modify it. You don’t need to be rude in order to get your way or show dissatisfaction w/​her. She’s understanding and puts your needs 1^st.
Hours: She’s very accommodating, so she’ll cut after open hours sometimes. Just give her a call and let her know
Salon: I appreciate that she has cards for her regular customers, so that she tracks your hair services (i.e. the color you selected for highlights, size of curlers she used for your perm, etc.)
Parking: She has 2 spots in the parking lot and it’s the ones w/​the cones. Just remember to put the cone back when you leave, so the other stores’ customers don’t occupy it.
Pricing: all cuts include washing & complimentary collagen treatment
Cut & Style= $ 25
Cut & Color= $ 40+
Cut & highlights= $ 60+
Cut & Perm= $ 50+
Special: Cut + Highlights + Color + Collagen Treatment + Style= $ 99
*regardless of hair-​length
I’m not sure, but I think these are prices for just ladies
Customers: Not only Asians in there. I’ve seen her do quick cuts for men.

I haven’t been anywhere that’s cheaper than $ 25 for wash, cut, and style, esp. where I don’t feel like I came out w/​a haircut from Asia. So for a $ salon, it’s 5 stars.
