I just got my hair cut and color by Yun. This place is my favorite, she is very professional.

Before my first time being PinkComb, I knew I have couple friends do their hair here. So I colored my hair in ash brown today and it is exactly what I want. They are very friendly, careful and detailed to treat your hair. The place is bright and clean. Highly recommend.

Located in the same plaza as Simply Phở You, Kobawoo House, and Alchemist Coffee,(and of course, thanks to Unilocal), I was able to find this little gem for a wonderful blow out service in a short amount of time, yay!!! :) I usually go to Drybar, but since I was pressed for time, I was so happy to have found Pink Comb close by, yass!!! Thanks to my stylist, Yun K. Park, I had an awesome blow out with voluminous, soft curls. She does take walk-ins, but for a blow out service, I recommend you call her a day ahead to secure a spot. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 20mins early(yay, no traffic!), and she took me in. Her assistant had me wear a black robe, and then proceeded to washed my hair(amazing scalp massage), and applied a heat protectant on my hair, and afterwards, Yun took over, while her assistant washed and dried the other client’s hair. They’re very efficient in switching jobs, while ensuring that neither I nor the other client was being rushed or had to wait too long. Before we began, Yun asked me what curls I wanted, and then got down to work. She’s a very friendly lady, and does speak minimal English too. I trust her, and let her work her magic, and she exceeded my expectations, yay!!! Yun blow dried my hair while lifting it up with the brush for volume, and then curled my hair, and afterwards brushed it out to get the voluminous soft curls effect. Best of all, I liked that she teased my crown in the back of my hair a little bit for the extra volume, without me even asking her too, awesome!!! Once done, she sprayed some hairspray to give it that extra hold, which lasted me greatly throughout dinner at CUT, woohoo!!! Blow out service total was $ 30.00, sweet! In the future, I’ll come back for other blow out services, and possibly haircuts too. Parking: Friendly valet guys working there. Valet is $ 1.50, and do make sure you get your ticket validated before you leave.

just had the most amazing blow out with Yun. Her assistant washed my hair very good and Yun was quick to figure out what I like and don’t like. She was quick to know what I like and was determined to make it happen. My girlfriend recommended this spot to me and I couldn’t be more pleased. Wash+blow out+ straighten only 30! That never happens and especially with my hair. Will be coming back again.

I love this place. I just got a hair cut and unlike many other Korean salons she asked me what I wanted before touching my hair!(which, despite seeming like common sense, is quite rare) She considered my hair type and answered all my questions. Wish I got the name of whoever cut my hair but she was great!

Great services, make an appointment with the female stylist before arriving. I’ve done couple straight perms, trims and colors(bleached from black to purple/red/ombré over the years as my style changed) with her. Very friendly, but her english is average. Overall 5 stars including pricing, style and hospitality.

Addy cut my hair, and he’s one heck of an awesome dude. He’s very concentrated, he knows what he’s doing, it’s like a performance to watch. Never stressed, very meticulous, and a great sense of style. It’s my first time coming here. I’m a white guy, and Addy knew how to cut my hair exactly how I envisioned. I paid $ 25+tip for a wonderful guy’s cut. It’s my new go-to place.

I don’t usually give out 5 stars but Yun is fantastic. I tried her once and now I’m a regular seeing her every 2 weeks. She does a fantastic job and would definitely recommend her. If she’s not available, Addy does a great job as well. Truly the best place ever

I’ve been to this place 4 times and I have to say that I love it. Yun is really professional and always exceeds my expectations when she is done with my hair. Really reasonable price for shampoo, hair cut & blow-dry.

Great salon, great service, and good prices. Addy is a great stylist, he is very calm and meticulous in what he does– even the shampoo experience is something else! The overall atmosphere is also very welcoming. Valet parking is a bonus!

This salon is located in a shopping center on the corner of S. Vermont and 7th St. on the first floor next to an awesome coffee shop. They have valet parking for $ 2 on the weekends or street parking. Since the lot was jam packed, we needed up parking across the street in a parking garage for free. Over the past weekend, I finally decided to chop off and donate as much hair as I could. I made my appointment with Yun and am very happy with my new do! I chopped off about 12.5 inches, to be donated to Children with Hair Loss-an org that doesn’t charge families for a child in need of a wig. Since I had already shampooed my hair prior to getting to PC, a different worker just rinsed my hair before getting my hair styled. My haircut took maybe a little less than an hr. For a cut and style it was $ 35. For those waiting, there are seats set up along the wall and a table filled with magazines. I would highly recommend getting your hair cut here. For the cost and amazing job they do, its definitely worth every penny!

I am a regular at this salon!!! I really needed a nice place where they know what they are doing with hair and NOT just chop chop chop. This place is my go to for haircut! Mr Addy really takes his time with cutting my hair! nice neat stylish and clean… and I don’t really say much about hair stylists and that’s saying something! :) For the price of $ 25 getting a nice rinse with minty shampoo and carefully hand cared haircut so far you can’t beat this place!

I believe that it was Yun Park who did the cut/color on me this morning and it turned out amazing! I’ve been looking for a good salon in la to get my hair done and I found it! My hair looks and even feels healthy and doesn’t have the usual dye smell. It was a bit pricier than I expected but maybe that’s because I’m from a small town.

I first went here because the owner is a friend of a friend. I’m a guy, so I can only speak to the men’s cuts here. But Pink Comb does it right. I always feel fresh and professionally cared for after I leave this place. Waits are not too intolerable, especially during week days. I make it a point to come here as often as I can for my cuts.

I love this place! I get my hair done by the older Korean lady. I love her. She is talented and also a very pleasant lady! Previously, I have had my hair stripped so that I could go really light, and it was a success. I have dyed my hair darker since then, and got a short, blunt, collar-bone length hair cut. She was on top of hair trends, and knew exactly what I wanted. She is consistent, which is a huge plus. She isn’t like those other Korean hair stylists who talk on and on about everything and try to sell you their expensive products. She is extreeeemely chill!

I forgot the name of the person who cut my hair but he was an older Korean gentleman who had colorful nail polish on. He was very friendly and cut my hair fabulously, the only thing was that there was only one hair stylist and two customers at the same time so I had to wait a little but other than that I would recommend this place!

OMG! What a great experience and great haircut I got today! Let me pinpoint the awesomeness of my hairdresser Addy Kim 1. He knew my hair type and condition and cut my hair in a way that best compliments my features WITHOUT having me giving him specifics(i.e. I am a heart-shaped face and I want my face to look smaller so I think __length works better) 2. He was quiet and concentrated when cutting my hair. Bonus point! 3. He’s quick and knew exactly what he’s doing. 4. Nice. Easy to communicate. No language barrier. Long story short, I love my hair i love it i love it i love it! Go try him! Even if you are not blown away you definitely won’t regret it. :)

I made an appointment at 9:30am on a Saturday for a trim and to dye my hair. They took about an hr and a half to dye my hair, wash, cut/trim and style my hair. I had a date with my boyfriend later that day and when he saw me, he thought it looked really good so that was a success! My hair color looks great. the style is great. and for some reason, my hair became softer and healthier after coloring my hair(usually doesn’t happen that way)! The staff is so nice and talented. I will definitely come back!
