I love love love this place! Before i wouldnt have traded my ex eyebrow do-​ers but arunas threading studio made me cheat. But honestly im going to have to be loyal to this place they are the best! And theyre so kind too they actually talk to you and ask how youre doing unlike other places that just want your money. Two thumbs up! A must go to place!

My eyebrows are super difficult to shape and Aruna some how figured out how to shape them perfectly while leaving them thick. Everywhere I’ve gone, someone could always shape my left brow perfectly but the right brow is always left bushy, a different shape and not as clean. Aruna has manage to shape both brows symmetrical, leaving them perfect! Parking is a nightmare in Hollywood but Aruna is worth it! Happy I found her studio!

Visiting from the East Coast & I couldn’t believe how affordable, friendly, and skillful these ladies were. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely make a visit here.

I went back to Aruna’s Studio this weekend and this time, I mentioned I wanted a more angular shape and Aruna totally nailed it. She also did my friends brow (she wanted a thicker, softer look and they were the best I have ever seen them done).
I have tried mannnnnny eyebrow salons in LA and I am so glad to have found a place that is pleasant, well-​priced, with a reasonable wait time, and great brow results. Even though I want to save this secret for myself… I will have to share this find with all my friends.

Aruna was really nice ! And she does a great job ! First time getting my eyebrows threaded and is way less painful than waxing and my eyebrows look even now I love it!

My sister, daughter, and I love this spot! Rapid service, very precise, consistent accuracy on shape, and very hospitable. Not to mention, the location is very convenient for us. Just as a FYI. .. Parking is sketchy so you will want to head to your appointment a little early in order to arrive on time … Especially depending on the time of day.

Another place severely messed up my brows one too many times. I went into Aruna’s with uneven, overly done brows and she was excellent giving me advice at letting them grow back! Now, three visits later, and I love how my eyebrows look for the first time in my life.

Aruna is amazing! there were no leftover hairs once she finished my brows. I live in Alhambra and i’m willing to go all the way to Hollywood just for her (: I leave the place happy and confident!

We’ve all heard the saying «When you look your best you feel like you’re at your best,» correct? Well… I stumbled upon Aruna’s Threading Studio on Unilocal desperately hoping to find someone to bless my eyebrows with that perfect touch everyone looks for. When it comes to my eyebrows… Just like women and hairstylist or men with barbers… When you find someone who does what you like perfect… It’s like hitting the jackpot. I recently moved to LA from FL and I thought it was the end of the world when I had to leave my eyebrow lady. I never thought I’d find someone as good or even BETTER (shhhhh!) but when I stepped foot in this threading studio and took a leap of faith by letting a complete stranger do my eyebrows, I definitely found my new eyebrow lady and I’m now a loyal customer (who also has a new stamp card where after each threading you get you earn a stamp and after 10 stamps you receive you’ll get an 11^th threading FREE!) I didn’t catch her name exactly, but she’s the sweetest lady who definitely works to perfection. If you bring in a picture of what you’re wanting it helps her to make your shape perfect. PLUS, it’s only $ 7! Yes! $ 7! The studio is very small and if you’re walking down Hollywood keep your eyes open because you could easily walk passed it. It’s in a little alley so be sure to look closely. There’s only two threading chairs and two waiting chairs. She sits in the first chair closest to the door in the quaint little studio and there are many people who go to her so there’s a possibility of a wait. I went at night around closing time, so there was no wait.
All in all, going to this studio was the best decision I ever made. Definitely telling everyone about her!

If you want to try threading or looking for a good eyebrow threader, go to aruna! I was at first worried about the low price but its the greatest deal ever. Although the threading is a little painful, its done very quickly. For both my brows, I was finished after 10min, maybe less.
She asks you about the shape and thickness you like and then makes sure to accommodate exactly what your looking for.
The place is down an alley. It is veryyyy tiny and in the summer pretty hot. This is usually not a problem for me because im in and out. If you want to feel luxurious then this is not your place.

Aruna’s is located in a business alleyway off of Hollywood blvd. You will not be able to see it from the street. The studio itself is very small and quaint with two chairs for threading and a couch for waiting. I stopped by around 5:30pm on a Saturday and was literally the only person there. Took about 5 minutes or so for one of the two ladies there to thread my eyebrows, and she did an amazing job. Wasn’t painful and she was able to do exactly what I asked for. The prices are also amazing (just $ 6.99 for eyebrows) so this is the place to go for all your eyebrow needs.
Both ladies were very nice, might I add.

Awesome job! It was my first time trying out Aruna and she did an excellent job on my eyebrows. Thankfully when I went she wasn’t busy and I was in and out in 5 minutes. It’s a cute little shop located at the end of the hallway/​alley entrance in the heart of Hollywood. Big downside here the parking of course! I mean it’s Hollywood!

Everything was wonderful, I came to get henna tattoo, but after it dries you can barely see it, like I wear it for 2 weeks, I am disappointed, cause I did henna tattoos many times, it was bright. I am satisfied with the service and Aruna is very nice person, but my tattoo is not something I wanted. (

I just walked there to get henna, with a picture of what I wanted and 20min later I was a new customer out and happy!
And only 20 $, I’ll definitely go back !!!

This place is awesome!!! I was a walk in and didn’t have to wait too long (thank goodness cause I was in desperate need to get my eyebrows done… it had been awhile since I had them waxed or threaded). Aruna herself helped me. She was very sweet and I told her exactly what I wanted (put more arch in my brows) and she did exactly that! I was a very happy customer leaving that place that’s for sure! If you’re looking for a good and inexpensive threading for your brows THIS IS THE PLACE to go to! Parking is a little hectic (street parking only) but if you live close to the Hollywood area like myself I would say walk or über it.
I highly recommend people coming here. She also does henna tattooing which I’ll be trying next time I see her!

I walked in today with my boyfriend and felt uncomfortable because they are not so welcoming. Although my boyfriend likes the shape of my brow and how fast it was done (less then a minute), I felt like they didn’t even want me there. The lady (didn’t get her name) didn’t even brush nor trim my eyebrows. She just threaded them (just cleaned them actually). They are probably good but not today nor to me. Thanks though! I trimmed it myself!
Note: Their eyebrow threading is cheap though ($ 7).

I’ve been coming to Aruna for over a year now and she’s a master at her craft. I’ve gotten everything from eyebrows to henna done. Her prices are outrageously low and she does such a wonderful job at shape. Appointments are always easy to get and she takes walk-​ins too.
Can’t recommend Aruna enough!

I love Aruna’s Threading Studio! I always go for my eyebrows and usually end up getting a henna as well.
She never fails to do a fantastic job on my eyebrows leaving the arch in place and giving them a very clean look. She hands you a mirror as she works to make sure you are satisfied with the shape of them. She will also do an all over facial hair threading as well. After all, threading does last the longest and look the best.
My henna is always nice and creative. She really does go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with it. She uses herbal henna so there are no harsh chemicals that will hurt your skin.
Also, her prices are very affordable! Her shop is small but it’s cute and suitable for what she is doing. I would recommend parking on North McCadden Place or Selma Avenue.
You can tell Aruna truly does care about her clients and that’s why they always return.

When she was drawing it and all, it looked alright and I was happy.
I got home and when the paint was dried and fell off, there was almost nothing left. It has been about a week and there’s really nothing left (just took the picture).
