Wynn Nail Spa

Let me tell you as a New Yorker out in LA, finding the right fit for so many necessary things (nails, hair, gym) is essential to survival and for the on-​the-​go girl. After 1.5 years of living out here I can say I’ve finally found my nail tribe!
With many visits to this salon, this particular occurrence really took the cake!
I only had an hour to work with on my lunch break and the staff here hooked a sista up! I was seen at 1:15pm and walked out of the salon at 1:56pm. From the front desk reception to the nail technicians, everyone cares about the work they do. They refuse to let you leave out of here looking crazy and will make sure you are getting what you desire.
I would definitely recommend them to any one local or new who appreciates professionalism, timely performance and most important of all – RESULTS!

Front desk ladies were super nice. By far I did have a terrible job done. I would have asked them to have my nails fixed if I wasn’t already heading somewhere after. The guy doing my nails got super glue on my finger and kinda laughed and said «blow on it». I shrugged it off. He was super rough kept twisting my fingers hard, got acrylic on my fingers. And my nails are riggid! I keep cutting myself because they are not buffed down. Definitely not feeling my nails for my vacation. I did post them up so you can see it. Unfortunately mine are the glitter nails.

Lexi and Anna are the greatest. My nails and toes are beautiful thanks to these two lovely ladies. Lexi did a fantastic job. She is the best ever. I will never go and see anyone else but her. Anna is quiet and gives a great pedicure. Please go see these ladies I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. Very please customer…

Hollywood — True story of bad customer service straight from Wynn’s manager.
I booked an appointment Thursday at 7pm, once I arrived it took til about 7:30 to get seated, maybe even a bit more. I wanted gels, but picked an SNS color. I wasn’t sure about the process or timing. My beautiful tech, Tracey, said «its no problem I can do it for you in 10 mins, it better then gel»…she convinced me and we couldn’t find the color I wanted in gel.
All I wanted was a lavender purple color, soft pastel color for summer. I pick the color directly from Wynns «color wheel» w nail color options and numbers to locate.
Ladies, you know the color starts off different then the finished look? Well, I repeatedly asked, are you sure it’s the right color? even another beautiful tech came over to chat, got the ring of nail color displays, confirmed the lavender choice I made in fact had the same number on the container. Once the 1^st coat is on, Tracey tells me to wait until she’s done, I did, it’s completely the wrong color.
It’s bright pink. Gross. I hate it. It’s 8:10 now, I’m exhausted, have a plane at 9:00am next day, she wants to redo do it right then. If I wasn’t falling asleep, felt bad for worker, had to pack for work, I would have done it then but I couldn’t, and 2 – 3 other workers who were standing around, confirmed I wanted lavender, all said, just come back for a redo. I explained my flight arrived Monday late, will that work?
Tracey, my tech ask if I can come Wednesday instead. She’s is off Tuesday and didn’t want to stay late again Monday.
I said sure, no problem. Indigo, even wrote my appt on Wynns business card stating redo. So I paid full price, tipped $ 5 and paid for parking $ 5 because I stayed over an hour in parking structure.
I show up today, manager tells me I have to pay $ 25 to get my nails redone because it’s been too long.
Tracey has already started to remove my current pink color and has the correct nail color waiting for me at this point.
BS !! I was not about to waste another hour or more, pay half of the full cost, parking and you know I’m trippin my girl Tracey when I did exactly what was I was told.

I got free champagne and name-​brand polish for a standard issue pedicure price. It got pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon and had arrived one minute later, I wouldn’t have been able to do a walk-​in. Friendly staff and chic décor, right in the heart of LA! I honestly think they undercharge but PLEASE DON’T TELL THEM! :)

I’ve been coming to The Hollywood location at Wynn Nail Spa for a few months now, & I absolutely love it! The service is always swift & polite. If you’re looking for a variety of polishes this is the place to go! They made me fall in love with a gel French manicure again. I also get waxing done here too (I go to Terri)! They are a little bit pricey… But honestly it’s worth it. You pay for what you get! Fast, efficient, stylish. & Back on the go!

I just moved to LA in September, so I have had no clue where to look or where to go when it comes to pampering myself. The first place I went to wanted me to stick my feet in a bucket (I have never heard of that, nor would I pay to do that).
So clearly, Wynn was a nice fresh breath of air compared to where I had tried out previously. The salon is clean, I love the many pedi chairs (that massage), the employees are all super friendly, and they have a good selection of colors. I’ve had Wendy the last few times (for a gel mani) and I love her! The nail techs seem to all do a great job (i.e. Gel nails that actually last 2 weeks)! They are pretty good about availability and appointments also. Every time I’ve called, I’ve been able to get same day appointments (and even ask for Wendy), and even when I didn’t have one, they took me right away. For those of you who also have work to (like me), they have free wifi, and they validate parking for the first hour in the sunset vine garage. For both a mani (gel) and pedi I paid around $ 60, so the prices are pretty average also.
Ultimately, I would for sure suggest this place. Don’t settle for a bucket!

Wynn Nail Spa was the first salon that I visited when I moved to LA. The staff is very kind and welcoming and try very hard to make you feel comfortable. They make sure that my nails are as perfect as they can be so that I’m happy when I leave the salon. The salon is very clean and stylish and I love that all genders love to come there. I like to come here when I want to treat myself to something nice, and they never let me down.

Best thing – my pedi looks good.
Not best things – they only take tips in cash, but didn’t say that until we ran our cards. Would have been helpful if they said it beforehand, so we could have come prepared, or just change the policy. I for sure would have tipped more if I could have written it in.
Also…the two ladies who were working on my friend and me were super nice, but at one point, one said something in Vietnamese to the other, who looked up, directly at me, laughed while making eye contact with me, then looked down. Hard not to take that a little personally.

I love this place! They not only do a great job, but they are also so friendly and remember you every time. I usually see Windy because she does gel builder and she is always so thorough and makes my nails look perfect I love it!

I like this place and wish that I had started going there a few years back when it first opened up. Many, many times I’ve had issues with nail salons here in So Cal simply trying to make a reservation by phone. However at Wynn, there is never a problem with the receptionist and language issues. It’s a tiny bit pricey, but it weeds out the unsavory people you run into at other HOLLYWOOD area nail salons. And the polite service here is also better than most other places. Free parking garage, easy in and out. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars because it’s not the Ritz Carlton, but overall a strong 4.

So first off, this place is pretty and very clean. They have big comfy turquoise chairs, 1 hour validation for the parking garage that is right behind them, but still connected (there in a shopping center) annnnnnnd they have SNS (get your minds out of the gutter guys) This is the first time I’ve ever heard of this but it’s suppose to be healthier than gels. It’s a type of glue and powder that they use, it leaves your nails feeling super strong. They are thick but not too thick like acrylics and the removal process is suppose to be much more gentle on the nails (we will see when it’s time for me to go back) than gels. This is the only place I think that offers this or the only place I’ve ever seen it at before. Ana was my manicurist and Windy was my pedicurist, they were both very sweet ladies and did a good job.

I got a medi And Gel pedi and fell in love with their blue massage chairs and their amazing hot lotion.
Who knew hot lotion can make your body tingle with happiness. I absolutely fell in love with the lady that did my gel nails but unfortunately, i don’t recall her name!

Parking may be a bit difficult but if you get lucky, meter is the way to go.

Waste nail place ever been goin here for the last year my nails would always chip in three days… Don’t clean the tools right go a infection, also over charge u and try to upsell u. He whole Time always walk out with my nails being fucked up but never want to go and have then fix it cuz they act like they did nothing wrong

Seriously my favorite nail spot in LA! Excellent staff and customers service! One of those rare nail salons where they actually put the customer first I can’t tell you what a refreshing change that is compared to most nail places.
They never give me complaints when I want to try a new nail design or trend and seem to be just as eager as I am to try out something new. This place it’s upscale elegant and superclean. I don’t always remember to check in but I am a frequent customer and usually visit the salon 2 to 3 times a month.

I like this place, even though i do feel its a little overpriced, but (for me) its convenient because it’s walking distance and they do take good care of your nails.
They have the spa massage chairs and give you a hot lotion massage which I always enjoy. They have lots of color options, and know how to do your nails quickly.
Just be prepared to pay LA prices.

A guy did my manicure, and he should be banned from the nail industry for life.
Unreal lets recap…
1. He used a tool to cut a hangnail that was just casually sitting in his drawer. He used it on me and put it back in the drawer!!!
2. He attempted to use a dirty nail file and buffer on me!!! It looked like it had been used 1,000 times before!!!
3. I’m praying that the tools used for the fake nails were clean but I’m sure they weren’t!!!
4. He didn’t wear gloves and used his nail to clean and dig into my nail!!!
I AM PRAYING I DONT GET SOME SORT OF INFECTION!!!

I was in major need of a regular manicure, and since I live super close to Wynn I decided to give them a try. Luckily they had just opened so they have a small slot available for a regular mani.
The salon: It was clean, and there’s was a good variety of nail polishes. I like their subtle way of up-​selling, having Vinylux and OPI infinite shine in the front and the other regular polishes in the back. I’m so glad they had Deborah Lippmann, the color looks beautiful and rich on my nails.
Service: The receptionist was friendly and accommodating even though I didn’t have an appointment. I had Vicky who tried to convince me to get a gel mani but I explained how I just got rid of my hard gels and want to let my nails breathe. She’s not the talkative type, but that’s fine with me, all I care about is the quality of the nail service, and she wasn’t rude either, just quiet.
Nails: Vicky was so efficient and precise. I’m super picky about my cuticle line and she cleaned them up nicely, to perfection. She suggested 3 coats of polish, and the polish is surprisingly really even. The cherry on top was timing, she did my manicure in about 20 minutes and it looks great!
I can’t speak for pedicures or gel manis yet but a regular mani with Vicky is definitely recommended. I will be back. :)

Hit or miss. Been to Wynn nail spa twice for a gel mani and spa pedi. I got French gel both times.
The first time my finger nails were shaped oddly, between round and pointy they looked really fat, the white part of the gel was too thick and I could feel that it was higher than the pink part. The shape and polish on my toes were good but when the lady was scrubbing my feet she took the scrubber to my toes and literally scrubbed the skin off three of my toes. I had to pull my foot back and say ouch! When I got home my toes were stinging for two days! I had to put Neosporin on them and was literally limping because I couldn’t put pressure on my toes due to the pain.
The second time Wendy did my gel mani, she took her time to shape my nails pointy, the shape came out perfect. The French tip had an even transition between the white and the pink part. However when she was filing my nails I felt pain on two of my nails at the cuticle. When I got home I took a closer look and realized she cut me with the nail file on two fingers. Ouch! (See pic) Because she did a pretty good job on the actual nails I would go back to her. But I’ll just make sure I tell her to be careful with the nail file.
I live walking distance from Wynn so I come here out of convenience. My regular place is Stella Making Beauty in Burbank, I’ve never had a problem with their mani pedis there.

My favorite place to get my nails done and now it’s also my fave place to go for eyebrow threading. The massage chairs are amazing at getting knots out of your back/​neck. I’ve actually gone there before more for the massage than the pedi.
Parking is validated for 1 hour. Enter via Sunset Blvd. They validate up to 1 hour.
