Custom Board and Steel is a custom design and build furniture shop. If you can’t find the perfect piece of furniture for your home or office, you may want to make us your next stop. We’ll work with you through the design and build process to make sure you walk away with a piece you’ll be happy to welcome into your home. We are big proponents of local sourcing and do our best to support local businesses like ourselves in our search for material. We also work with a large community of specialized tradesmen and women to make almost anything possible.

History

Established in 2012.

Custom Board and Steel started as a design and build shop for restaurants and other public applications. We soon realized there was a demand for custom pieces for both business and residential spaces. Today we are a fully capable and locally owned custom furniture shop with the capabilities and skill required to create with wood, steel and a number of other materials.

Business Owner

Andy is a 5^th generation wood worker, 3^rd generation designer. After gaining a BFA in Industrial Design, Andy’s vision of a furniture design shop became a reality. Understanding the vision for your space is Andy’s specialty. He understands what you are trying to accomplish and designs accordingly, delivering well designed products that not only meets your ergonomic needs, but lives effortlessly in your new space.
