Gratz Industries

It is a low review and so hard to only hit 1 star when the equipment is so nice. Everyone warned me but I was hoodwinked by their fancy website and by all my Pilates peers supporting Gratz in their news letters.
OMG the process was annoying. I was giving them really hard earned money and treated with indifference and neglect. Everyone has said it already: poor communication, deadlines are false, incompetence with packing and receiving wrong items. They tried to make it all up with not charging me shipping. I was grateful but the whole process was quite maddening — a 1 star maddening. I ordered in October and received my stuff 3^rd week of March. I ordered accessories a month ago and they finally mailed them.
The rest of my equipment will be ordered from Basil Designs. The accessories from Basil or Peak.
Such a shame.

The equipment is great, but receiving it is another story! You will wait… and wait… and wait… and wait…

I am a NEW pilates studio owner and I took the liberty of making my 1^st big equipment purchase and of course I went with «Gratz» as they claim they’re the truest to form in terms of specs. I made my order, including allowing them to charge thousands of dollars on my credit card and here we are FOUR MONTHS LATER and still NO EQUIPMENT. When I call to voice my frustrations as well as email they could care less. I have no idea what to do but just wanted to warn future consumers. Apparently, since a new owner purchased the company, it hasn’t been the same, including customer service. I’ve done some searches online and I’ve come up with complaints, exactly like mine. I’m contacting a lawyer tomorrow, and not only am I going to see how I can take action for myself, but I’m hoping I can get in touch with all of the other lovely pilates consumers who put their trust in Gratz, and who have been unnecessarily let down. It’s horrible. Please reach out to me if you’ve experienced the same thing.

I run 2 Pilates studios in Los Angeles and have Gratz Pilates equipment at both. I like their product very much. However their prices for equipment and shipping are too high. Additionally their customer service is non-​existent. I never got my phone call returned when I left a voice message. And shipping takes WEEKS, even for small accessories. When you place an order online, you don’t get a shipping quote at checkout. The mysterious quote comes days later. A bit too late if price was a consideration.
