Fantastic work and exceptional customer service. When our new Lexus got dinged up in the parking garage, the garage manager recommended Nicky at Formula Automotive. Given my past miserable experiences with body shops, I begged my wife to handle this repair to our fender and bumper.
So my wife calls Nicky, his shop picks up our car from the garage and a few days later the repaired car is returned to the garage. So on the way over to inspect the body work, I tell my wife not to expect too much. Well, much to my great surprise, the car looked brand new. The paint job and body work done by Formula Automotive was every bit as good as the original Lexus paint job.
So now my wife wants to know why I made such a big deal out of having to deal with a body shop. Well, Formula Automotive and Nicky are not your average body shop and owner. They are exceptional in every way and my wife says they are a pleasure to do business with. I say their works speaks for itself.

So glad I took it here. When I called, I was informed they are not open on weekends but I explained I could not do it during the week because I need my car all day for work. The owner, Nicky, said he would see what he could
Do and called me the next day to say he would find a way to get it done the upcoming Saturday. When I picked up my car on Saturday it looked better than it’s ever looked. The price was also very competitive compared to other places I checked in the area. Will definitely be back again and would recommend this place to anyone. My husband said its like having your uncle in the business, and in this tiny space I won’t be able to say enough to convince the rest of New York what a glowing recommendation that actually is. Nicky took care of my car like ‘we were family’. my 2007 X3 had messed up fenders courtesy of our garage. These bumpers came out looking amazing… better than the day I’d gotten it from the dealer because I’d bought it used and they had never repaired some pre-​existing wheel well dents– the dealer had obviously glossed over them). Nicky noticed, called us, gave a fair price and repaired it along with the bumpers so that’s my brand new 8 year old car. He took the time to talk over other issues we were having with the car… while I was there pointed me in the direction of another fantastic service station… First Class Auto Repair just down the road. Two amazing recommendations in one day. You can’t beat this collision shop for honesty, fair prices and amazing respectful service.

FINALLY an auto-​body shop you can trust! Only trumped by the trust I have in the owner, Nicky. I will never use another body shop for as long as I live. Not only is Nicky one of the friendliest guys you would ever want to meet, but he is extremely knowledgeable about his trade.
I highly recommend using this shop, no matter how far you have to travel. My brand-​new Audi Q3 2015 was scratched up from the parking garage I use. By luck or fate, the garage put me in contact with Formula and boy am I thankful they did. Not only did take care of the damage to the car, but I asked for a full detail and winter prep on the car and was amazed at the finished product. The car looks better than the day I picked it up from the dealership.

I had a nice deep dent courtesy of a parking lot hit and run and Nicky’s number was given to me by the garage manager where I park. I called Nicky thinking I was going to get HOSED but was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was brought in, how reasonable the costs were and the detail they threw in made the whole situation feel so much better. Nicky and Billy are running a top notch shop that I pass by along my way to the city and know that if I have any issues pop up, they are the first guys I’m going to trust my car to!

Formula Collision (Formula Automotive Corp.) did an excellent job repairing the damaged side view mirror on my car. Nicky, the owner, went above and beyond to help me and make sure my car was ready for me in time for my vacation. If I ever have a problem with my car again, I’m taking it to Nicky.

Nicky and Billy are the best! My Lexus always get the best treatment and care. Therefore, I will only take my car to Formula if she needs a face lift or repair! They always do impeccable work!

Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor, dentist, lawyer or plumber. Not only are you looking for someone who has the expertise to do the best work possible — you also are looking for a business that is trustworthy and someone you can go back to in the future.
I’ve been to my share of mechanics in the city — and I was extremely impressed with the work they do here at Formula Collision. One of the garages in the city messed up my car and they sent my car here to take care of the repair work. Nicky (the owner) got in touch with me and set up an appointment quickly. He was great about working with my schedule as my office is quite far from here. I was able to drop off my car here early and the staff was ready and waiting. They removed the damaged paneling and had me on my way in no time. I was back at work 45 minutes earlier than I expected.
Billy the shop manager got a hold of me quickly the next day and let me know I could come back the following day to get the part re-​installed. Again, I was there early and the shop was open. The folks there were friendly, took care of the installation in 15 minutes and had me on my way to work asap. I was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the whole process.
Nicky is also a great communicator and doesn’t hesitate to take care of his customers. He followed up with me after the last appointment to make sure everyone went well. It was a welcome relief from other shops where it often seems like there is never any real effort to build a rapport with customers and give them a real timeline of how long the work would take. Here they really go the extra mile to make sure people are taken care of and were happy with the work.
If you’re in the NYC area, I definitely recommend this shop for any body work, detailing or customization you need done for your car. It’s not easy to find a good auto shop you can rely on in the city and I was extremely impressed by the work they do here. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future for any work I need done and I think any new customer would be pleased with the service they provide here.
