We needed to have 4 liquid ambers, a 40 yr old jacaranda and bottle brush tree trimmed. Got a great recommendation from neighbor and called Eric from Octavio’s Tree Service. He gave me an estimate and the trees were trimmed this morning, along with removing two additional trees and stumps. I have used other tree trimming companies in the past, but I am so pleased with the job today that I will continue to use and highly recommend Octavio’s. Eric and his crew showed up on time and were very professional and did a great job!

I called them based on the Unilocal reviews. Was not disappointed. In fact I was very impressed. Eric called me back immediately and arranged it on Saturday morning. I expected it to be an all morning ordeal but they were in and out like one reviewer said «navy seals». I was impressed with the clean up after and Eric was reassuring not to over trim my trees. They did an excellent job and the price was decent. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Octavio’s and Eric, the manager, are the best tree service you could hope for. Not only did Eric call to confirm the scheduled appointment, but the team showed up exactly on time and were done trimming our giant maple tree, removing two trees from the backyard and grinding out the stumps in about an hour! If you are on a schedule and you need to get your trees serviced on time and quickly, then this is the company you need to hire.

Yep, it’s all true. Went with Octavio’s based on all the other Unilocal reviews, and was not disappointed, the entire transaction from start to finish could not have gone better. Eric is prompt about answering his phone & returning calls, it was easy ‘no muss no fuss.’ Got the estimate, they showed up exactly when scheduled, completed all work and cleanup exactly as promised with no games or additional charges, and did an excellent job. I’ll never go anywhere else again…

I had a giant ficus tree, a medium sized orange tree, a large rubber tree and a smaller tree removed by Octavio’s Tree Service. They came by the same day and were done in hours. They did a really awesome job, with easy communication throughout. Very good work, very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We used Octavio’s a few months ago to do some massive trimming for house we bought (investor didn’t bother to upkeep grrrr). Anyways, they were a little pricier than a regular «gardner» type had quoted, but for big trees and the fact that one rested on a neighbor’s garage, we went with them because they are fully insured. They had like 6 guys out for 4 or 5 hours and did an excellent job. I thought I wrote a review until a friend just asked for a referral and then realized I hadn’t! OOPS. Highly recommend

We called Octavio’s to trim our Sycamore tree and an overgrown bird of paradise tree.
Eric gave a good estimate and was always in contact to ensure that plans are on track.
The crew arrived on time and was very efficient and very polite. They were very careful not to cause any damage to other plants or objects.
Job well done. Will not hesitate to recommend Octavio’s to friends and family and will definitely call them again when it’s time to trim the Sycamore.

I called around to a few places, and Octavio’s was able to offer the best price. My calls were returned promptly and professionally throughout our dealings. They were even able to come over and do an appraisal and a removal on the same day. Very prompt.
Extremely happy with the work that the crew did. They were as non-​invasive as possible, worked neatly and quickly, and left the backyard with no trace of the stump or roots and little evidence of the grinding.
I would recommend to anyone.

In and out like Navy Seals. These guys were so quiet, fast and polite.
Eric and the crew came out when they said they would. They were done when they said they’d be done. Then they cleaned up like pros. I would suggest using this crew for your tree trimming needs. No joke.

Eric gave a good estimate on a series of work I needed done. I ended up removing 4 trees and doing some trimming work.
Eric was great to deal with. The team was prompt and worked fast. Their prices were perfectly fair, and were actually on the lower end of the spectrum, which is always nice.
You can also tell when someone is an expert and takes pride in what they do when they show up and can immediately name each of the tree types and tell you right off what they recommend.
I couldn’t believe how well they ground out the stumps… you wouldn’t even know a tree had been there in most cases.
If I need any other work, I will absolutely be calling these guys.

Eric came out and gave an estimate quickly, arrived on time and was courteous. Same price as other companies to trim Queen Palms.
They came out the same day. They worked safely and efficiently, trimmed them up beautifully and cleaned up after themselves. They hauled everything away and it looked awesome when they were done.

Eric came out and gave me an estimate that was exactly the same price as my other two estimates. I went with this company over the others because of their ratings on Unilocal.
When I called to let him know he got the job he told me they might not be able to get to it till after the 4th of July but if I was flexible he would try to work it in sooner. He called the next day and told us he would be able to get us in the following afternoon.
He came on time and got the job done in a very short period of time. He took out two groups of palm trees a carrotwood tree and another. He ground out the stumps. Hauled it all away and cleaned up.
I am very pleased with the work done and the communication skills.
Getting ready to put in shade trees and they will be my go to guys for keeping them trimmed.

Well first of all I would like to thank the tree service team. Eric was great. My husband normally haggles for a better price. Surprisingly he gave it the ok as soon as he heard the tree trimming estimate. We looked around for a good deal and they were the best ones in the area. Quick to come out on a Sun and bid the job of removing two ficus trees. Did the work the next day. Did a little something extra by pulling a shrub and moving a pot.

After the recent SoCal «rain storm» one of our (dead) pine trees started to precariously lean over our shed. We called around for tree removal quotes and Octavio’s was the quickest to respond.
Someone was sent the next day to assess the situation and provide an estimate. For removal of two pine trees and clean up/​haul away we were quoted $ 400 — very reasonable!
Making an appointment was a breeze and everyone we spoke to, as well as the 4-​man crew that arrived, were very professional and efficient. We plan to hire Octavio’s Tree Service again to trim our remaining overgrown pine tree soon.

These guys kick ass. I needed two palm trees removed from my front yard. I narrowed down my choice to 4 star reviews or above and started calling. Look, as long as they are licensed, it was all about price. Eric came out, checked out the property and, ultimately, had the best price.
Their crew arrived on time, had all of the proper tools, were courteous and got the job done very quickly. They made sure we moved our cars, and they covered my windows prior to using the stump grinder.
They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves and were gone in less than 90 minutes.
