I owe Jim a BIG thank you. I am fortunate enough to have Jim help me on a tenant improvement project. Jim is a very sincere and nice person. His crew is awesome, hard-​working, and helpful.
When I met Jim, I was in a trouble situation where I need to get the job done soon. He was going to vacation, and promised me to work on my project once he is back.
His crew act fast. We tear down the old building (dry wall, frame, door, etc.) in a day.
But then we get into trouble because of the architecture didn’t do their research and did a bad job. Instead of waiting, Jim is very proactive, take action to do research, and go extra miles to get issue resolve. He works days and overnights on the project due to the special requirement on the project. (Another BIG special thank you for his team supporting overnight shifts.)
He is not the stereotype General Contract that tries to rip people off, makes as much money as possible on the project, and runs. He is down to the earth guy and tries to help as much as he could on your project. He will make sure your project get a good outcome, of course with his motto: «Quality and Integrity without Compromise».
Jim should get more than 5 stars on Unilocal.I will probably write another review to give him a «10» stars!!!
I would definitely recommend Jim to my friends when they need a general contractor.

I hired Jim to fix the terrible job another contractor did for me and I have only wonderful things to say. He was honest, quick, affordable, friendly and professional. The work got done right the first time. I wish I hired him sooner. He is a 100% 5 star vendor.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about Jim Huth, his company, or his team.
I’ll skip the complex details of the job Jim’s team did for me, but suffice to say:
un-​permitted work had previously been done in my apartment and it was illegal and inhabitable. Jim’s crew demolished the illegal work and started from scratch, with permits, inspections, etc … and did the job «right».
I gave dangerous «lemons» to Jim Huth Construction … and they gave me back, good/​safe lemonade! If i could award more than 5 Unilocal stars to Jim Huth Construction, i would.
What I look for in most everything, is ‘good value’ … it’s way more than price (although Jim’s prices are more than fair). i measure «good value» by assessing every step of a process/​transaction, from initial contact … to writing a Unilocal review!
A big component of of overall ‘value’ is less tangible – but it’s captured in Jim Huth Construction’s motto: «Quality and Integrity without Compromise». That pretty much sums-​it-​up, along with: friendly, honest and trustworthy — all very important (at least to me).
My experience with Jim’s company, has been that it delivers ‘great value”, i.e., they exceeded my expectations. Not only in the process and finished-​product; but also, via Jim’s relaxed but ‘can-​do’ attitude and his team’s will-​do performance/​execution.
i highly recommend Jim Huth Construction’s services to anyone who needs a top-​notch contractor with good character. Jim says what he’ll do, and he does what he says … on-​time and on budget.

Jim did a fabulous job remodeling both of our bathrooms. My bathrooms were completely outdated and poorly designed. When I first contacted Jim, he was able to meet with me that same Saturday for an estimate. I was so grateful because I was gone at work during the week and all of the other businesses would only come on a weekday. I liked Jim and trusted him for the moment I met him. He far exceeded my expectations in completely remodeling my bathrooms. They look better than I could have ever imagined. Before they looked completely outdated and stuck in the 70s. Now they look like fancy hotel/​spa bathrooms. He also made the bathrooms more functional and now I have tons of useful storage space. He really knows what he is doing and has great taste. He was able to take my vision of the bathrooms to another level that far exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with the finished product. Additionally, it was such a pleasant experience working with Jim. He always showed up on time, always did exactly what he said he was going to do, and has a great crew. I would trust him and his crew with anything. To top it off, he is also budget conscientious!!! He was able to create my dream bathrooms at a completely reasonable price. He always made sure to get the best deal on the materials used for the bathroom and knew the right vendors to get them. I would recommend him to anyone needing any kind of remodel. He is the best. You won’t find a better contractor out there. I will definitely use him again.

Well, once again, Jim and his crew exceeded my expectations! I had my bathroom remodeled and due to the excellent job, I had Jim do some more work. I gave him a picture of trim & baseboards that I wanted (South Carolina beach home), and his crew went beyond what I had hoped for. My house is small 1100 sq. ft. and so wanted to add some charm. Jim is always a pleasure to deal with and is very prompt, and responsive to all phone calls, or texts. If I could give 10 stars I would. Can’t wait to redo my kitchen. I am a teacher so need to be conservative in my spending and feel his prices are reasonable.

Called to get an estimate to do some minor work (relocating a bedroom window and garage door) and said he didn’t have time to give me an estimate and to call someone local. LOCAL? Really. Your 25 min from me according to maquest. Regardless on how big or small the job is, you should take any job to build business and relationships. Found someone else to do the same job and will use the other company for future remolding work that is needed on my bathroom and kitchen.

This review is long overdue. We renovated our condo last year and lucked out when we found Jim on Unilocal.He and his crew were very professional, easy to work with, on time, responsible, and budget consciencious. His fees were very reasonable. I’m posting «before & after» photos of our kitchen and let them do the talking. We highly recommend Jim for your renovation needs. I would have him do future projects. We’re very satisfied customers.

We had Jim do 2 projects a bathroom remodel and hang some closet doors. We could have not asked for a better guy to handle the projects. Jim and his team were very respectful and professional. The bathroom turned out better then we could have expected. There were a few hiccups with the plumbing and vanity, however Jim handled them well and took care of things. The closet doors needed some extra design additions, and Jim knew specifically what to do to finish the framing off and it turned out perfect. Jim is very easy to work with and always had a smile, which helps when the hiccups occur. We already have a list of odd jobs we want him to come back and do. We highly recommend Jim!

We hired Jim to fix some old plumbing in my great aunt’s 1940’s house. As happens with older houses, the problem ended up being a lot worse than anticipated, but he and his plumber were quick and professional and the bill was affordable. Since then, we have asked him to do multiple odd jobs and he is always very accommodating and easy to work with.

I give my highest recommendations for West Coast Deck Waterproofing Company. The management is excellent. They work as a team, respond immediately, and they are very courteous. The workmen too are excellent. They are very hard working, respectful and very nice. In addition this company offers very competitive prices. I am greatly pleased about having my deck done by them

We’ve hired Jim several times to do everything from handyman jobs to major remodeling and we have always been very satisfied. One thing I will say that I feel makes Jim stand out from other hanymen/​contractors that we have dealt with is his reliability. He always shows up early and doesn’t take days off until the job is complete. I’ve had friends tell me stories about contractors they hired that have left them hanging for a few days or weeks in the middle of a job. Jim is not that guy.
The last time we hired Jim, it was to help us fix a gas leak on our property. Turns out the gas leak was our tenants gas line and the leak was coming from under the concrete. Jim started the job on Dec. 30^th, it continued until the next day which was New Years Eve. He did not leave our house until 8:00pm on New Years Eve because he wanted to finsh up and make sure that our tenant did not have to go another day without gas. My husband and I were very impressed with this and felt that he went above and beyond. Thanks Jim!

Jim was hired for our bathroom upgrade.
I was a woman with a vision and probably made things easy by shopping and scoping out all of the upgrade components through Lowe’s & Home Depot.
He was able to bring my vision to life.

We found Jim on Unilocal and asked if he could come do an estimate for a garage conversion to a family game room. He and Alex came over the same day and gave us a time that he would get back to us with an estimate. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Jim gave us an estimate for the job by email within a very quick time and then followed up with a phone call to let me know it had been sent (love the customer service). After three other estimates we choose Jim. Not just based on his price (which was fantastic) but more for his customer service and knowledge. Each day of the job, they came on time, left on time and they cleaned up every time they we’re done for the day! (big in my book! Shows they are detailed, care about their work and treated my home like they would want theirs to be treated). Jim came with a few suggestions to improve what we wanted done and didn’t settle for just what we told him but made sure we got what we wanted and needed! The job was completed on time and came out BEAUTIFUL! His suggestions were perfect!!! They always would say they want their customers to be happy and they did just that 1000^th percent! I actually signed up for Unilocal just so I can write Jim this review! I would highly recommend him to everyone!!! We will use him again and again for our future projects we have planned! Jim is a pleasure to work with, very fair, very good prices and most of all he truly cares about his customer and his product. He gives contractors a very good name (and we have had horrible ones!) so if you are like me and want a fantastic contractor that does what they say and delivers an amazing job then call him! You won’t be sorry! He gives me faith there are great contractors still out there!
