I absolutely love in-n-out but this places location is not great. During lunch time the line goes all the way out to the PCH… I was basically sitting in the middle of the crosswalk(almost in intersection at 2nd and PCH which is a very busy intersection) for a couple of minutes. This also blocks the people parking and leaving.

Delicious as always, I have to get my fix when I go to Cali for vacation. The burgers are delicious and filling. The fries are always fresh and tasty!

The food at In-n-Out is always consistent no matter which location you go to. I think having the hidden menu makes In-n-Out a little playful and more interesting for some reason. For example, animal style burger, animal style fries, or asking for mustard. Just some simple examples. This location is amazing! Why? Because it is walking distance from the beach! Great service here, lines moved quickly and the place was tidy.

Came in off the plane with the band on tour from Seattle. We were starving and I had been told all about In N Out. Everyone says it’s the best, you must go there!!. I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the double double and animal fries. The fries were not even hot and dried out. The cheese wasn’t even melted. It was gross! The burger was just okay at best. I prefer Carl’s Junior any day. Also there was no veggie patty available. I won’t be back.

It couldn’t get any fresher than this location of In-n-Out. We ordered a couple of cheeseburger meals and were served promptly. The fries were nice and hot. The burgers were perfectly layered with all of the traditional In-n-Out ingredients. The meal was awesome in taste and well the price is always nice. Growing up eating here can sometimes create a more mundane feeling for me, so I tend to overlook the opportunity to eat here more often. However after today’s experience, I think I’m back to being a lover of great food, served fast. It’s a very nostalgic feeling and I really enjoy it.

I’m not the biggest burger fan(not that I don’t like burgers, just not my go-to thing), but the cheeseburger was really good. Like really, I liked it a lot. It was slightly cold tho. The fries were blah. They were cold and getting hard already so that was a downer. And I’m surprised by that because I saw them cook my food and bring it to me fairly quick and so I’m not sure why it was cold. Overall tho, the food is good and it for sure hits the spot.

The burgers and fries were perfectly hot and tasted great, as we always expect! The service was friendly, fast and helpful. The price 11 dollars and change… For 3 burgers 1 fries and one drink. But at this location the parking really sucks…

I usually frequent the Westminster location, as opposed to this one because my sister works there 24⁄7. But this location is nice when I’m in the area, the workers are friendly. Always order my double double combo, no way to mess that up, Got really good service last time I was there.

Tom was rude. My boyfriend was being friendly and trying to make conversation with him and he rolled His eyes as he looked at his coworker stating«what the?» As if it was strange or annoying that my boyfriend wanted to say something. Definitely not a friendly employee.

Say it with me: Double Double Animal style! With fries and a chocolate shake, you can’t beat this fast food meal! And cheap at that. Wish we had them in Tennessee. A much more limited menu than I expected, but who cares? It’s all about the burger!

Yes, each In-n-Out location is different. I’m not even ashamed to say that I eat In-n-Out so much that I can see differences in each location. I came here one Wednesday night and ordered a hamburger with bun extra toasted. One of the workers on the grill must have been new because right after I ordered that the cashier turned to the person at the grill and said, «I’ll show you how to make that in a second.» Uh oh how will this new person cook my buns? I got my hamburger and it was the best representation and taste of the term«buns extra toasted». The inside of the surface of the buns were toasted evenly and the top of the buns were glistening as if they’d toasted all sides of the bun. I wish all the other In-n-Outs made it like this location. Most other locations only toast the inside surfaces of the buns and not only that but also toast it just to the point that the edges of the bun are toasted and not the whole inside surface. Being right on PCH, it’s a convenient location. But also for that reason you might see shady people here. It is Long Beach so you shouldn’t be surprised if you do.

The drive thru line goes surprisingly fast. One of my favorite thing about the in and out ordering system is how they have a person walk through the line of cars taking orders — genius! I get animal style everything!

This is not a review of IN N OUT in general. I am one of those rare native Southern Californians who find the restaurant grossly overrated. Granted, the service is always impeccable, the secret menu stuff is cool, I find lots of cool stuff in the purses in the break room, and the overly bright and sterile red and white tiled place feels like Peppermint Forest from Candy Land, but the french fries are gross to inedible. At best they taste like thick shoestring potatoes if you ask for them well done. And a burger joint with bad fries is like a whorehouse with bad fellatio, as Mark Twain once said. UPDATE(8⁄15) — now you can order them with cheese. so now they are good. they just taste like cheese bumps. No, this isn’t a review for the IN N OUT chain, but for this location(where I once saw director Renny Harlin, which has no effect on my review). Surrounded my oil well things, it was a great place of me to release the possum I found in my bathroom(long story), but the long drive-thru lines can snake through the parking lot, down PCH, and down the street again. This is rare, but one day the guy at the end of the line was blocking the guy who just got his food from exiting. It was like that snake that eats its tail. Which is on the secret menu I think.

VERDICT: Heaven! QUALIFIER: All the new In-N-Out locations are the same, serving exceptional taste. Though for this restaurant, it gets less crowded on the weekends which is fantastic for me after dragonboat practice off Mother’s Beach. FOOD: I always get a 4×4, neapolitan shake, and if I’m extra hunger, an order of well done fries. SERVICE: Always fast, friendly. They keep their empty tables pretty clean, right after guests leave, for the next guests.

Favorite location! Best place to grab late night in n out by far. Always clean, fairly speedy, and served hot. Open late, even to dine in, which is cool.

This particular In-N-Out sits on PCH and Second in Alamitos Bay just before entering Seal Beach. Accessing the drive thru line can become all the bit«interesting» as it can only be done using Pacific Coast Hwy. As w/all In-N-Outs, anticipate excessive congestion and a surplus in wait times until the wee hours of closing. It goes without stating that the food as an entirety, both quantity and quality… will NOT disappoint. Just when I think they’ve perfected one thing, I’m taken aback to find that apparently there’s another secret version or method in modifying it. Side bar: Does anyone else order extra cheese on their burger and then suck it off of the wrapper? Lol.

Everyone knows that In-N-Out makes perfect hamburgers, so there’s no need to write a review about the quality of the food. Seriously, how can you go wrong with a Double Double and Animal Style fries? But I do have to say that this In-N-Out is my favorite location because the service is exceptionally friendly and fast. This place always gets crowded due to it being on the PCH right off of 2nd Street, but I find that they are one of the fastest In-N-Outs that I’ve been to. Food consistently comes out hot and fast. Even though the restaurant is very busy, someone is always sure to clean up tables right after customers leave so that it’s clean for the next person. I love/hate that this In-N-Out is so close to my house. The convenience, deliciousness, and service keep me coming back all the time!
