This is the best thrift shop on 2nd st in my opinion. Most of the time I find something to wear or for my home. Although it can be a hit/miss like any thrift store, the displayed storefront windows are always inviting. This store is organized and well priced. I feel it’s so important to support the cause, our purchases are our vote.

It’s small and clean, but wow the prices are high. Sometimes I browse here but the prices are so high. The last time I was in the woman behind the sales counter accused me of stealing the price tag off an item when I brought it up to ask the price. There were a bunch of things unpriced, but I hadn’t cared enough about those to walk them over to the clerk. Don’t go here, you can get a lot bigger selections for a whole lot less money and not be treated like dirt at Out of the Closet or Assistance League on 4th or St Vincent De Paul on PCH and Obispo, or even just down 2nd street at Buffalo Exchange which has actual labels on their clothing and isn’t snooty cranky old ladies.

I am a fan of thrift store shopping! Especially when it comes to knick-nacky stuff and other items I can grow succulents in(thanks Kath for getting me hooked on my current obsession of cloning plants.) I stopped in here today on the way to the library and really wanted to buy an adorable little bull creamer(perfect for a baby succulent!) but didn’t! MUSTSTAYONBUDGET! This store is small BUT it’s CLEAN, well organized and the volunteers that run it are sweet as vanilla pudding. The money goes to a GREAT cause too, The American Cancer Society. So if you live in the Shore you should definitely check it out.
