Seriously the guy that helped us was so sweet and to me… customer service it’s vital. The price was standard 7⁄11 prices, for sure the most budget friendly around downtown Long Beach. Would I ever come back again? For sure.

9 pm on a Thursday night. Suuuuuuuper sketchy atmosphere with 2 cops just standing outside patrolling, many homeless inside the 711 and outside on the sidewalk. I was on a mission for a frozen snickers ice cream bar in the heat, so I ventured on… Purchased said ice cream and some spotty bananas for breakfast and was on my way. I hope to never visit again! But, it fit my needs at the moment.

The most ghetto 7 – 11 in Long Beach. Possibly in Los Angeles. Maybe even the world…

Horrible place! I know it’s 7 – 11 and some people say hey what do you expect it a convenient store in semi metro area but really, you need to honor your customers. I just received a couple of coupons from(American spirit) it stated 2 packs for 2 dollars. The guy charged me 2 dollars for 2 packs. Clearly didn’t read what it was good for. I know it’s only 2 dollars but the point of it all is just honor the damn coupon if it states that. I’m quite irritated with the out come. But hey this is what Unilocal is good for. Cheers.

It’s 7-Eleven and it’s in downtown Long Beach and they won’t charge you an arm and a leg for a soda which is what happened at Formula D this weekend or any other weekend there’s an outdoor event in Long Beach. I’d stop in here before, possibly during, and even after to get a water or a soda at a decent price.

Normally Stop by on weekends on my way to run on the beach! Place seems always clean and organized! Workers seem friendly and approachable! Store is always stock! The only bad thing about this 7 – 11 is the large amount of transients that frequent and seem to linger out side this place.

Cashier(Vinny) should be avoided for quality-in-customer service & genuine courtesies. He selects based on what he likes or choices from line. I waited in line for the cool Rickey — just to check a $ 2.00 winning lottery ticket, but his service isn’t enough to avoid the panhandling outside the store or fear experienced while dispensing money from the ATM I will rethink my safe-options versus convenience.

This 7 – 11 is very convenient for everyone. I live close to the Long Beach Court House and I will walk to this 7 – 11 even though there is a convenient store down the street. They are always stocked and is usually clean all the time. The draw back is all the homeless and panhandlers that hangout outside the door. I don’t blame them at all for doing what they have to do to survive. I wish I can do something for them but I’ll help out when I can. So be aware that you’ll be asked for change 90% of the time you go to this 7 – 11. This 7 – 11 is also in the heart of downtown so they deal with a lot of people day in and day out. They get A LOT of obnoxious people. From the homeless person who feels the world owes them to the corporate uptight jerk who thinks he’s better than everyone to the drunk bar hopper who doesn’t know when to stop. They have to deal with a lot of unnecessary drama all the time. On the other hand… there are a lot of good patrons that shop this store as well. The problem is that sometimes the staff will treat the good patrons as if they were one of the obnoxious ones. That’s not ok! Jus because we come in during the time when they get most of their rude customers doesn’t mean you can treat everyone to the same extent. Other than those 2 things… I would say shop this 7 – 11. For the most part it’s a decent store. But decent or not… people are going to go here cuz it’s a CONVENIENT store so they’re going to go here if it’s convenient to them. No matter how good the store is or not.

The beer fridge doors are locked at this 711… If you want beer you have to tell a cashier and they go in back behind the fridge and get it for you– Weird! The staff is really friendly here… Very helpful. A ghetto location I suppose but I really liked the customer service here when I needed it.

Conveniently located, this is any easy stop for all your necessities including cash, slurpees and more! Your typical 7 – 11 with convenience if you are walking. Otherwise, good luck parking during busy hours. Customer Service is AOK. Yup, short review. but yay for 711 being here!

This store is very busy in the morning and sometimes hard to find parking out front. Very friendly staff and a great wine selection.

perfect spot 50 yards from my condo. Thats why the 4th star is there. Convenience is a major plus. Like most 7 – 11’s this one not any different. They do however close their liquor sales at midnight rather then 2am. If you’ve been to the center of pine around midnight you’ll see why they do this. Party goers get pretty around that time of night. Staff is very friendly and have been around for some time now.

This is an excellent 7 – 11. The guys who work here are terrific. It’s a tiny bit like a Simpsons cartoon, but they’re very professional and nice. I frequently get 2 ripe bananas for a dollar here. They always seem to have bananas and they’re typically ripe or very close to ripe. They don’t mind if I help myself to some hot water. They’re also agreeable if I have to run back to an aisle or something. They don’t act put out or like you’re bothering them. The manager is very nice. He even let me return something that clearly said unreturnable on it. I was very happy, too. This is the best 7 – 11 in the world… that I know of.

As you can tell by all my check-ins here, I’m a frequent shopper at this ghetto, downtown Long Beach 7 – 11. It’s not that it’s cheaper than any of the other filthy markets in the vicinity, it’s just that it’s the closest one to my place. There are only 3 reasons why I visit this place so much. The first is to grab a piece of fruit for breakfast before I head out to work. The second is to get cash from their ATM. The credit union I bank with doesn’t charge me those pesky ATM fees when I use a 7 – 11ATM. The third and final reason I visit this 7 – 11 is for a delicious, heaven sent treat. The treat I’m referring to are those Hostess Chocodiles. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about! Chocodiles are those chocolate covered Twinkies that look like dog sh*t but taste like they were handmade by Jesus himself. My only problem with this place is one of the dude’s who works here stares at me when I walk through their doors with his Satanic black eyes like I’m some common thief, even though he has seen me a thousand times. Mofo’s got such an intimidating stare he could stop a 2 ton charging Rhino dead in its tracks. And I dare not stare back because this fool is as big and actually looks tougher than Muhammad Ali. Funny thing is, his name happens to be Muhammad. If you are in the area and need to pick up some fruit, cash or a Jesus made goodie, stop by my this 7 – 11. Just don’t mess with Mr. Muhammad, I know I wouldn’t. That fool could whoop my ass and leave me for dead if he felt so inclined to do so. Good thing for me, I’m a lover, not a fighter. I punch like a bit*h but kiss like a champ! Anyone care to find out?

Oh thank heaven? I think not. Terrible! There is nothing convenient about this 7 – 11. From the lame employees to the consistant inconsistancy of products out on display. I mean no offense, but you can really tell wherever the men that work here are from, women are pretty low on the totem pole. On top of their chauvinist attitudes, they’re lazy and rude. I’m surprised people keep coming back. At different times I’ve observed customers ask all of the day employees if they carry an item(last time it was jelly) only for each of these guys to glare back at the customer(obviously annoyed) and say NO we don’t carry jelly(or whatever). I also just today witnessed one of the employees yelling at a customer. it seems she complained about him(Gee I wonder why!) and he was asking her condescendingly if she wanted to complain about him again. Keep it classy there 7 – 11 guy! Save yourself the trouble **ESPECIALLY** if you’re female, and take your business elsewhere.

Do you know the reason why you feel sick after eating a 7-Eleven lunch? I do! :( I strolled by to get my haagen dazs fix a few nights ago, and patiently waited at the register for the guy to finish placing the dogs & wings on the food warmer. when all of a sudden. WHAP! I see him stomping on something and checking his shoes. he then picks up a ginormous and deceased cockroach with his bare fingers *barf* To my disbelief, he went straight back to placing the remaining food, touching EVERYTHING. I don’t even want to imagine what takes place when there are no customers around. Now all I can picture is the dead cockroach residue on all of their products. Negative Stars!!! Never ever going back.

I go here frequently because it is near work and it is easy to grab something on the go… water, coffee, energy drink, snacks, even a hot dog if I want a quick lunch. This is exactly why I go to any 7 – 11. The store is small, but has most essentials you might need. It’s on a corner and easy to get to. And, depending on the day — the person behind the counter will great you and might even crack a smile… Or, other days, well, you might just want to run away quickly because you will feel guilty because you didn’t whip out payment fast enough or they just act like they don’t want to be bothered with you… its a gamble… but hey its 7 – 11, not the Waldorf!

Dodge the homeless posse. This place is quite large. It’s always clean and bright with natural light. It’s primarily foot traffic driven. There are always users and homeless folks loitering in the front. The staff has a difficult time processing orders quickly. They tend to have conversations with themselves in the middle of transactions, thus delaying everybody else. Kinda lame, but not the end of the world. Don’t half step. Bring in your own cup and they’ll only charge you for a refill on your coffee.
