New to the facility are the upgraded Tennis Courts, kids’ playground and Picnic Pavillion.
History
Established in 1959.
Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel is part of South Suburban Parks and Recreation formed in 1959 for the purpose of providing recreational facilities and services for residents. In 1959, approximately 45,000 people lived within the boundaries. Now, the population totals more than 140,000 residents. The 57-square-mile area includes the cities of Bow Mar, Columbine Valley, Littleton, Sheridan, Lone Tree, half of the new City of Centennial, and unincorporated portions of Douglas, Jefferson and Arapahoe counties west of I-25. The mission of South Suburban is to contribute to full and meaningful lives of residents by providing a variety of leisure services and improving the quality of life through stewardship of the environment, parks, trails and open space.

Manager
Ed is the 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel. He acquired his PGA Membership in 1998 and is beginning his 20th season with the South Suburban Parks and Recreation Golf Department. Ed started his career with the South Suburban at the South Suburban Golf Course and then was transferred to Centennial Golf and Tennis, which is now named Littleton Golf and Tennis Club.
