Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows

I love staying at the Marriott. Once you stay here you never go back to cheap crap! I LOVE the body wash. The only negative thing is I wish they would wash the shower curtain liners. It was splattered with some blue stuff. And bathroom ceiling was gross as well. You don’t get free wifi which is stupid for the price you pay.

We frequent Marriott properties but unfortunately this is one of those days that started out fantastic and ended terribly. We decided to get a room for the night because the snow was coming down rather quickly and creating blizzard conditions for our commute home to the springs. That being said we didn’t have a reservation ahead of time but the gentleman at the front desk was able to find my husband a great rate with a $ 25 credit to sonomas.
To our pleasure they said we could use it for alcohol at the bar. So we decided to have a few drinks and then when it came time for the check the bartender seemed confused that we had a $ 25 credit and had to ask a manager and then get someone from the front desk to confirm… Which was a lengthy annoying 15 to 20 minute process. And the charge showed up on our room folio anyway.
Because it had been a long night we were looking forward to sleeping in and enjoying the awesome bed. Not so much! We were woken up to aggravated and annoying drilling noises and when we called the front desk they confirmed that they were doing construction. I complained that we were not informed when we checked in and they offered to move our room which seems ridiculous now that we’re awake and we’re leaving in 2 hours.
And the bathroom… Absolutely disgusting! For mold to build up on the shower curtain and the grout encrusted around the faucet tells me that it is not cleaned properly in general! There was dust along the tops of the picture frames in the top of the bed, could be from construction. Coming through the vents but none the less unappealing.
As I checked out I ask for a manager and the supervisor said she was the manager on duty so I showed her the pictures of the disgusting bathroom conditions and she gave me her business card and requested that I emailed them to her. I mean seriously I’ve already been inconvenienced enough. Offering to credit some points to my Marriott Rewards doesn’t really appease the incredibly negative experience. We will happily stay at Marriott properties again but just not this one!

5 stars for wow clean, nice facility with competent and friendly staff. It was my daughters birthday party and she chose to come here with her friends. Rooms were clean and adjoining which made it easy. Workout equipment new and clean. Pool clean without a ton of chlorine and hot jacuzzi. During dinner Ben and Lindsay made a fuss over 7 kids. They cared and treated them superbly. I travel and stay in many Marriotts. This property executes everything flawlessly. It must be like family to work here. From Jonathan at the front desk to Ben and Lindsay at the restaurant and bar everyone worked so well together. We’ll be back!

This is perhaps the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in; there isn’t a quiet room in the building — noise from the freeway, paper-​thin windows, and noise from local thoroughfares — it is the perfect storm of misery.

I have mixed feelings about this specific Marriott. The room was nice — we got a room with two queens. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! The beds were very comfortable. I did make it down to the gym one morning and I was pleasantly surprised. The gym had a decent amount of equipment. Service wasn’t the best and we did run into some problems with our room. The toilet would not stop running sporadically and it became annoying after the first night. We had to request twice for this be fixed. They did not fix it the first time and we were out of the room all day so by the time we returned, we went to bed and listened to the toilet run all night. Second issue — service at the bar and at the restaurant in the hotel was awful. One evening we went to the bar and requested two very simple drinks; one drink was even ordered neat. The bar was not busy, there were maybe five people total sitting down. The bartender did not greet us upon arrival nor did he say anything along the lines of, «I’ll be right with you.» We watched him walk passed us several times. Finally he took our drink orders and he was not friendly. The waiters at the restaurant seemed very overwhelmed and stressed out two out of the three mornings we were there. At one point, a waiter accidentally dumped a full plate of food my Dad had just gotten from the buffet. We had to request coffee and silverware multiple times nearly every morning while we sat and watched our food get cold. Aside from the service, our stay was somewhat comfortable. I think staff could be better organized. They have to expect a bigger crowd on the weekends. Only redeeming part of the staff were the maids. They were very sweet; every time we passed them in the hallway they greeted us and were very attentive. I read over other’s reviews of this Marriott and most seemed very positive — maybe we just happened to go on a weird weekend… not too sure what happened.

Stayed here again July 18 & 19! Jessie checked us in and was great! Room was perfect! Breakfast Buffett did not disappoint! Another fantastic stay… I’ll be back again! Thank you!

Wow, this place is super nice. It’s righ off the freeway which is very convienient. It also has a small market in there for your needs. Everythings up to date, what’s there not to like?

We are staying here for a wedding and the concierge has been wonderful!
The shuttle driver Jonathan is fantastic. I was looking for a mani/​pedi last minute and he recommended a salon that the girls who work at Marriott use and it was great!

We were recently at this hotel hosting guests for our daughter’s wedding. The hotel and staff were so accommodating and friendly AND all of our guests received their guest bags as promised! They even made us aware that we may be short a couple of bags because 2 of the rooms were not booked under our block and it gave us time to get that taken care!

I will start with saying I didn’t stay the night here.
I was traveling to Colorado Springs via Denver AirPort. After a series of bad storms, a diversion Colorado Springs for fuel and then back to Denver it was after 1am and I was exhausted. I saw this Marriott at the E470 and I 25 interchange. I stopped in with no reservation hoping to find a place to lay my tired head. Shay was working the desk during the late night shift. She was as super nice but informed me they were sold out. I could have slept in the lobby at this point. I asked where the nearest place was to get a coffee at 1am to help me make the drive to Colorado Springs. She ran over to the bar/​bistro and came back with a venti coffee. She went above and beyond considering I wasn’t even a registered guest. I am however a platinum guest and this customer will not be forgotten… I’ll dev be back. Thank to Shay for helping me get to CS awake and safe!

We were caught in a snow storm coming in from Boulder. It was very late, cold, and we encountered dangerous driving conditions. The roads were closed to Colorado Springs so we started looking for a hotel, especially when we saw a few cars sliding on the highway (I-​25), Enough was enough. It was passed midnight and after driving on slushy ice we knew it was time to stop.
We called the Marriott that we saw off the highway. I asked the front desk agent if there were any rooms available for this evening and without answering my question he transferred me to the main reservations line! What? That was totally annoying. I needed a room right now! So when I spoke with a reservation agent they were asking me which Marriott? Hello? I’m driving in a Blizzard-​I don’t know the address or suburb! So I hung up on them and just drove to the Marriott and walked in to see if they had rooms (how inconvenient for me). I specifically chose Marriott because I’m a Rewards member.
Luckily they had rooms available for $ 99 so I’m happy I didn’t get gauged with a walk-​in rack rate. They do offer military/​govt. rates but the holiday weekend rate was better.
I was relieved to walk into a nice clean warm room with a great view of the snow and slept very well. There’s a restaurant downstairs. It was serving breakfast and brunch (since it was Mother’s Day). Breakfast was wonderful. Our server was so friendly. We sat next to the cozy fireplace and had some Eggs Benedict, oatmeal, pancakes, and everyone loved their food.
The only downer was the manager who was a bit stoic and should practice smiling and being more friendly. He was very short with all our questions. The music playing was horrible. Honestly, it sounded like psychedelic 60s music. For breakfast on Mother’s Day? Change the station!
Starbucks is also on the first floor located next to the restaurant.
Overall a great stay.
My recommendation to the hotel staff: when someone calls the front desk at midnight looking for a room during a blizzard for that night-DON’T SEND THEM TO RESERVATIONS! Especially if they make it perfectly clear that they need a room in the middle of a snow storm! (The front desk agent was new-​so maybe he just needs some more training.) Take the call and humor them! Either you have rooms or you don’t!
UPDATE: The manager contacted me and was very apologetic. Extra star for the CARE factor.

I’ve stayed here many times over the last couple years and the experience has always been consistent. Clean rooms, nice staff and easy location. Nothing fantastic about the food but it is near a bunch of great restaurants.

Came into town for a wedding at stayed at this location since there was a block of rooms reserve for wedding guests. Our flight got in late and we checked in close to midnight. No bell boys working that late.
Room was nice and comfortable but small. Wifi was almost at dial up speeds.
Littleton was a cute city. Enjoy your stay!

Great location. Questionable Internet service. Great executive suite. Very good restaurant. Easy to get to off the 70 or 25. Very close to the awesome mall and great food

I was bummed because I missed my connecting flight. Southwest put me up in the Marriott. Bobby at the front desk was wonderful. He instantly changed my mood. He was friendly and answered all my questions. You could tell he loved his job!
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I orders room service which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The room service was average. I had the queso which needed more spices and the quesadilla was just kinda blah. They did have a nice wine selection that I was familiar with and enjoyed a glass.
The shuttle runs every half hour. I ordered a Towncar to get me to the hotel because honestly I was fed up with waiting. The location of the hotel is about 10 miles from the airport. I paid $ 50 for my Towncar and $ 30 for the return taxi. Sleep was more important to me than a free shuttle.

I chose this hotel based on amenities listed on their website. I came in to town for a medical procedure. This hotel listed complimentary shuttle. Since I was going to have sedation for my procedure, I had to have a driver take me home. The shuttle driver was not working today according to the front desk but they could set me up with a taxi and they would pay the fare. Great… until the driver charged me and told me I had to pay the fare.
My biggest disappointment is they advertise WiFi which I feel is standard these days, especially when the room rate is over $ 220/​night for an average room. Well, they charge $ 15/​day for WiFi in the room. Considering I’m on bedrest… I can’t make it to the lobby where it is complimentary.
Nickel and dimed – so disappointing. If it were a luxurious property I would overlook these nuisances… but it is not. I could’ve stayed across the street and saved money.

***While this Marriott is not that close to Denver, it is a surprisingly upscale hotel with an impressive Concierge Lounge (available to Marriott Rewards Gold and Platinum members)***
Marriotts in suburban areas are a gamble. Occasionally, you get a nice one, but several are outdated and some of the standard Marriott amenities (like the Concierge Lounge) are a step below what you will find at a downtown metropolitan Marriott. The Denver Marriott South Meadows is the exception though. Rooms are nice and even feature a contemporary sofa chair as well as an attractive bed scarf. The Concierge Lounge goes above and beyond the typical Marriott with a good variety of food at breakfast and during nightly appetizers service. The big windows in the lobby let in a lot of natural light and it reflects Denver’s close to nature vibe (the Concierge Lounge also provides great views of mountains even if they are faraway).
As mentioned, the rooms have contemporary touches. I also enjoyed the nice rainfall showerhead as well as the comfortable bed with great linens. There were areas where the rooms fell short though. There was no in-​room safe. It was not too hot in the room, but the A/​C seemed a tad weak compared to other Marriotts I’ve stayed at recently. And while the bathroom was very well maintained, it was a little tight in there.
I did not get a chance to use the fitness center, but the lobby opened directly into their lounge and it seemed like a comfortable and communal place to relax. I did visit the Concierge Lounge and it was impressive. The Concierge Lounge provided a wide variety of seating options. There were a few tables for four as well as several tables for two. There was also a large communal table and even a long counter for eating and looking out (the windows have power shades that easily adjust to block out harsh sunlight if needed). There is even a lounge-​like area with L-​shaped couches to watch the lounge’s big flat screen television.
For breakfast, their variety of hot offerings was as much as I’ve seen at any Marriott even if the quality was slightly disappointing. There were okay scrambled eggs that were not quite as fluffy as they should have been. The bacon was tasty, but it was a tad salty and fatty (even for bacon). Outside of the standard oatmeal, most Marriott Concierge Lounges only offer two hot options at breakfast, but this Concierge Lounge offered four selections. There was also fried breakfast potatoes as well as crepes filled with apple compote (the crepes were over toasted, but I guess it was probably necessary to keep the crepes from going soggy in the buffet chafing dish).
They had a great variety of cold options including both healthy and sugary cereals, breakfast breads, whole bananas, sliced strawberries, good breakfast pastries (including crispy and slightly flaky blueberry Danishes), and already plated fruit cups with melon, pineapple and blackberries.
Nightly appetizers were really a true dinner. There was a pork loin with a stuffing center (not bad though definitely dry) and a pasta salad tossed with spinach and zucchini. Where this Marriott really separated itself though was how it elevated what is often very boring at Marriott Concierge Lounges – crudite and cheeses. The crudite featured many vegetables – carrots, celery and tomatoes but also peppers, asparagus and even heirloom cauliflower. While this Concierge Lounge offered standard cheeses in cubes and slices like Monterey Jack, cheddar and pepper jack, it also provided goat cheese, brie, a soft cow’s milk cheese with a distinct wash rind, and really good, creamy, pungent, and soft blue cheese. Even the crackers were upgraded with flavorful rye crisps topped with sesame and caraway seeds.
While almost all Marriott Concierge Lounges offer an assortment of bottled water and Pepsi products, this Concierge Lounge also provided Coca-​Cola products.
Service was friendly and good like almost all Marriott brand hotels and room rates were very reasonable though this area might not be an ideal location if you are commuting to Denver since traffic looks bad in the morning.
I really enjoyed this Marriott – especially the Concierge Lounge where this Marriott definitely goes above and beyond most Marriotts. It is a surprisingly upscale hotel and definitely a good option if you are spending time in this area.
This Marriott offers complimentary parking; it is easy finding an open space.

I’ve stayed here several times and each time I’m impressed by the courtesy of the staff and the overall comfort of the rooms.
On one of our visits, I had brought a small container of milk for the morning and kept it in the sink with ice. The maid must have seen it while cleaning and requested a refrigerator for us, she even moved the milk for me. I was impressed because she could’ve just left it and figured I’d be fine. Most hotel staff won’t go out of their way for you, especially if you’re not requesting it. This is just one example of the quality of customer service they provide.
The rooms are immaculate, consistently clean every time. We’ve only stayed in a room with a king bed, they’re larger rooms with plenty of space. The toiletries are nice, towels are a little thin, the bed and pillows are comfortable.
Overall, one of our favorite hotels to stay at when we’re in the area.

This was my first stay at this Marriott and I have to say I like it.
Check-​in was fast and efficient, the staff was friendly and they bumped me up to a top floor room which gave me lounge access.
The room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet save for one of the other guests that kept letting their door slam. But that’s not the hotel’s fault. Just an inconsiderate person. I had some work to do and there was plenty of room for that. A room with two Queen beds might be a little tighter, but my King room was just right.
The gym was adequate, but could have used more weights/​weight machines. It was cardio day for me so I got done what I needed.
The location is great too. Within 1 ½ miles there are lots of restaurants to choose from, a big shopping mall and a Super Target just in case you’ve forgotten something.

This hotel’s location is great if you need to be between Denver and Colorado Springs. Located right off highway 25, it’s easy to find. There’s plenty of shopping close by.
The best part about my room were the beds — super comfortable mattress and pillows. The room and bathroom were large and clean. Front desk service wa attentive and courteous.
I was slightly disappointed ordering breakfast using room service. First, there were no substitutions available for meat, or for dairy. And I was bummed to see that although the mandatory room service charge was high, a very small amount was included as the mandatory tip. Come on — why can’t a hotel of this status treat its service staff better?
