Dave remodeled two bathrooms in our home and we were delighted with both the process and the final product. He’s reliable, has great skills (his carpentry is amazing), he’s patient, creative, knows how to solve unexpected problems and was really committed to making sure we were 100% happy when he finished. Dave is the person we will call for any future home improvements. We love our bathroom!

I am so pleased with the work done for us by Dave at All American Custom Builders! For this project, we needed the house painted, some repairs to wood beams/​fencing and a door replaced. Dave did it all! It was great to not juggle multiple contractors and still get the results we wanted. The paint is outstanding and the repairs are perfect. He was right on target with his estimate of how long the project would take and kept us informed along the way. We’d hire Dave again without hesitation!

The promptness is dumbfounding to me. Dave missed several appointments and didn’t match the stucco (white in color) to match the existing paint (per our signed contract). Also, he left dried out stucco on the door itself. Even on our scheduled day for him to come out, he said «I have to do roofing today.» So he simply cast me aside until it was in his best interest, despite him agreeing to the day and time.
The actual installation of the doors themselves seems to be solid. But I could’ve gotten that for less with some sub-​par Home Depot hired contractor.
I was really excited initially based off the one review, but unfortunately he is the best we have in this area. The other small contractors are only worse from what I’ve heard from citizens of this area.

I cannot praise Dave at All American Custom Builders enough. He is incredibly prompt with both his communication and services. If you need a simple job done around the house like a shower head replaced or a huge project like BUILDING a house, he is the guy for you. We recently moved into our home in Lompoc and everything I seem to love about the house has been designed and built by Dave. We have a gorgeous walk-​in shower, a beautiful pergola outside and an amazing kitchen complete with granite countertops and custom cabinets. He is not only professional, but also personable. I am home with my daughter by myself most of the time and I feel 100% comfortable with him in my home, in fact, I usually don’t even open the door for delivery people.
