I agree with the previous poster… the prices are insane here. I understand rent and all, but way higher than TRU right up the street.
Example…toy marked $ 49.99…in TRU ad $ 24.99. Price match? Nope, and RUDE employees too. Live and learn, it’s the first and last time I buy here. And I wouldn’t have had my kids not been with me.

This review is for the TOYS R’ US express located inside Yorktown Mall shopping center.
I only shopped at this location because I had money on a yorktown mall gift card I had to use. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have.
Store itself is neat and clean, but the selection of stuff is lackluster. Now of course it is just an ‘express’ location, I do realize that. For instance, the selection of wwe wrestler figures still hadn’t been restocked since before Christmas time (I frequent the mall a lot and have checked the store 5 – 6 times since early December). You would have thought in the past month some new shipments (of even repeats?) would have come in?
MORE IMPORTANTLY:
Prices are way out of line. I bought some ‘Masters of the Universe’ classics 2 toy sets that were priced at 32.99 each. Again I only bought them because I had to use a gift card. However, at other regular Toys R’ Us stores, the same toys were about 26.99. So, in this store, the prices are jacked up an additional 6 DOLLARS.
I also noticed the Star Wars, Batman, and probably most other toys and merchandise in the store were obviously much HIGHER PRICED than the regular Toys R’ Us stores. This is because of the rent this little store has to pay to be inside the mall. An average Star Wars action figure is not 11.99.
Also, even the TAX IS HIGHER. See above for reasons.
I do not recommend this store, unless you are in bind or have to use a gift card or for whatever reason, HAVE TO GET A QUICK GIFT. Otherwise, go to the Toys R’ Us about a mile and a half west of the mall right on Butterfield Rd — you’ll be much cheaper off.
Store is very pricey and the selections are lacking.
