I have had several things from them over the years, all were pretty decent, nothing special just decent! Anyway tonight I ordered something to go, Santa fe nachos with beef brisket! Sounded pretty good on the to go menu, Well I was very mistaken! First off, they didn’t add the Brisket! Yea the main seller in the dish wasn’t there! Ok I could deal with the rest of it but then the rest of it was just as bad, the cheese tasted like it came out of a can,(fake Cheese) and the sour cream had me running for the Crapper 10 minutes after I had it! Just a overall Soggy mess! Very Disappointed

Today was my second time eating at this restaurant and I gotta say, the quality of the food is pretty decent. On top of that, they provide a wide range of selection. For instance, they serve burgers, salad, ribs, fish, pasta, etc. I really like the interior design of this place. Very spacious on the inside and plenty of tables for the customers. One of my friends is obsessed with the chopped salad(with chicken) at this place. Every time we come here for dinner, she always ended up getting the same entrée. The salad reminded me of Portillo’s chopped salad. For my first visit, I ordered myself a half-roasted chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the meat was tender. For my side dish, I got mac and cheese. Normally, I am not a big fan of mac and cheese, but I will make an exception for this place. Today was my second time and I got the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious, however, it was messy to eat. They also offer desserts, I remembered ordering a slice of carrot cake on my last visit and it was bomb.

After visiting the Bridgeview location I had low expectations for this location. Luckily this one was much better! I ordered the pulled turkey sandwich(Trying to be healthy…). It was ok, definitely not as good as pulled pork but not bad. Still isn’t one of my favorite spots but it’ll do in a pinch.

When I worked/lived in Lombard, the Patio was my favorite lunchtime destination and spot for a quick dinner. It’s a favorite for many! It’s the first stop for my cousin and his family when they are in town from Virginia. Menu highlights: — Chili(Perfect flavor!) — Any salad with grilled chicken(The chicken is very flavorful, and it’s ACTUALLY grilled!) — Brisket sandwich — Steak fries — Ribs — Cheeseburger — They sell this brownie with a pretzel crust and caramel on top. It is to die for!

Pretty good bbq place and like one of the only ones in Lombard/Oakbrook area. Staff is always excellent. Big portions and plenty of variety. Recommend getting the pecan pie if you are not too stuffed.

I just ate there tonight for the first time, and unfortunately the last. Maybe it was a fluke that they got my order wrong, and once I got it, he reread the reciept and they put all the items I didn’t want on my burger and the condiments that I actually wanted, were not on it. After I told him, he apologized and went back inside to «correct«the order and returned in two minutes. All he did was remove what I didn’t want, and still didn’t put on the things I wanted. I didn’t realize this until I got home. That’s my mistake for believing that he actually heard what I said. Both of my sweet potato orders of fries were either still raw or still frozen. Yikes.

The Patio is owned by Portillos and I’m happy to say so far this hasn’t gone down hill since the Portillos business was purchased by new owners. Corn Bread — Solid, you get a big portion for $ 2 Sweet Potato Waffe Fries — Yum! Veggie Side — Great selection of veggies in butter Pulled Pork — Good, use the spicy BBQ sauce to heat it up a bit Salads — Santa Fe and Cesar are good

I wanted to get a rib fix, and I’ve been wanting to try The Patio for years, and they did not disappoint. My family and I dropped in after a long afternoon of shopping, so I was tired and starving. We all ordered ribs, which were spot on. They weren’t the meatiest ever, but the meat was tender and the sauce was spicy sweet. I love that they don’t over-sauce the ribs, but provide a bottle of sauce at the table if you want more. I had a full slab and could have eaten another. I look forward to visiting again to try their additional BBQ offerings.

In the ever crowded market of gentrified burgers this restaurant doesn’t know what it wants to be. It finds itself lost between casual and fancy, where ultimately picking one would’ve offered a better result. On the one hand the burgers are very pricey for a single patty and minor condiments. I ordered a siricha burger without cheese, and yet it came with cheese, and with very little flavor aside from the grease. On the other hand the quality is much better than the typical dive bar. The food was served hot and was relatively well seasoned with I don’t know what As my pulled pork tacos tasted like butt. If you’re from Georgia, North Carolina, or anywhere that does pulled pork right this place is not even comparable. But if you’re in the mood for an average meal that cost you way more than it should, please feel free to eat here. I certainly won’t.

It’s good food that is fast. The menu has a great deal of variety. Our order was messed up a little and the manager went out of his way to make things right. This is a nice place. I was about to submit my review but I noticed a message at the bottom of my page that states that my review is shorter than most. So now I am just adding to it until the message disappears. I used to get the ribs here all the time. They are a pretty good size, which makes up for the price. There is also a bar inside, which is a nice perk. This place is great for lunch because it’s pretty quick, even when there is a long line.

Maybe because I arrived at 9pm when they close at 930pm. However, there was a decent amount of people still sitting and eating. I had the combo(half slab ribs and brisket sandwich). The brisket I tried 2 pieces to convince myself it was dry and old. The ribs were whatever compared to he many other BBQ places around.

Always good food. Very consistent and I asked if the brisket, pork, and turkey was made in house and sure enough it is! I thought it was very well done. Not over sauced at all and I could taste the actual meat which was very tender. My girlfriend ordered the tilapia tacos which she said were fine. No complaints at all. For 25 $ including drinks and deserts for two that’s not a bad deal at all especially for the friendly faces that bring you the food. Good food and consistent quality.

I really cannot remember why I avoided going to The Patio for so long. It is now officially back on my regular rotation of places to grab a quick and tasty bite to eat. A group of us met here during a weekday right before Christmas, and they were gracious enough to reserve a few tables in a semi-private area off the huge main dining room. They also did not mind that we occupied those tables for about five hours, a good deal of that time during peak lunch hours. Perhaps the amount of money spent on wine had something to do with their leniency! This place is unbelievably cozy for what, in essence, is an upscale fast-food restaurant. Comfortably spaced tables throughout the dining room, and a giant, centrally placed fireplace are highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of the building. You order your meal at the front registers, pay, receive a numbered placard, find a seat, and your meal is brought out to you. Regular coffee ad soft drinks are self-serve with free refills. Beer, wine, specialty coffee drinks, and a limited desert selections are available at a separate counter. I am not a fan of barbecue ribs, which seem to be the popular choice here. I was surprised with the extensive menu: Burgers, salads, homemade soups, a variety of appetizers, and rotisserie chicken, just to name a few items. I went with a side garden salad, a bowl of cream of chicken rice soup, and an order of jalapeño poppers. Everything was good, but the soup was the clear winner. Just a hint of lemon made it possibly the best I’ve ever had! Later I had coffee and a parfait, and the regular coffee was surprisingly good. The other thing I enjoyed about this place was its constant level of cleanliness. It got packed during the lunch rush, but everything remained immaculate.

I come here pretty much every time I am in town. I really, really love the chicken sandwiches they have there. Really cool set up with giant menus to satisfy a range of customers from the salad eaters all the way to someone who is interested in ribs or a steak. My favorite? The cajun chicken sandwich never disappoints complimented with their fries or onion rings you just can’t go wrong here. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! An order of fries or any of their sides is easily enough to feed 3 and it completely works since getting a variety here is the key. They have spicy BBQ on the table which is tangy and certainly bites your tongue as you dip a fry or your sandwich in it. Did I mention how huge the eating area is? Wide and spacious it is large enough to compete with a cafeteria with these giant open windows to let the natural light in but not so huge that you feel lost of like you are not in a nice restaurant. What I love is that no matter how many people are inside it always seems like you can still have a great conversation and focus on your party. Waiters are busy delivering food all over and are always very friendly and helpful.

This place is pretty solid. When people ask me to explain, I tell them it’s like a BBQ version of Portillos. I feel it’s a little pricey for the amount and quality of the food but i’m still going to come back. The pulled pork and burgers are good. Oddly enough I’ve ordered the tuna melt and really enjoyed it. The sides here are all underwhelming and in my opinion worth skipping. Bottom line it’s better than average, definitely a good place but it’ll never be great!

After shopping we stopped here for dinner. Place was busy, but we were able to grab a booth. It was my first time here, but my mom and sister has been here and like it. I thought everything was cooked nicely.
