Great chicken taco salad. Pineapple drink and horchata is the bomb. I will definitely be back

Parilla has the most amazing steak taco salad. They use the best steak I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Add extra meat(chorizo) and it’s game over.

See yah qdoba… See yah chipotle… This place is unreal. From the nachos to to the taco salad, and chicken burrito. Everything was awesome and tasted fresh, and the fresh pineapple coconut drink is probably the best thing I have ever had. If you want Mexican and big portions, this is the place

Just went there for the first time. I have a feeling that the next time I go there my rating will be a full 5 stars. Delicious. Had the chicken tacos and a small guac. Since it was my first time, did not know that chips and salsa would be brought to the table… this is the type of place where you order first and then they bring the food to you. Very good, better than most and I can’t wait to try all the other items on the menu. Went back and had the cheese enchilidas with mole. Yummmmmm

Actually sat down this time instead of ordering and it was quite pleasant! Enjoyed the chips and salsa. I ordered the chicken taco salad this time and was amazed! Give this place a try for lunch!

On the steak fajitas: steak had no flavor at all and was way over cooked(I asked for rare and it came out well done). Guacamole was equally bland. The fajita veggies, however, were OUTSTANDING — awesome flavor, and the tortillas although a bit small were super tasty and clearly homemade(or very locally sourced). Free chips and two salsas were a nice perk. I’d come back for veggie fajitas for sure. And the churros, wow!

For a colleagues b’day we ordered lunch for 10 from here and man it was a feast enough for 15 people. The chips, gauc, chicken fajitas were really good and not forget the beans. we will be ordering from here again!

Everything this place does is awesome. Down to the rice and beans on the side. Amazing fresh flour tortillas and ingredients! We come here when we want Mexican food — period. Great for kids too. My four year old girl loves it! I am and will continue to be a loyal customer!

Burrito Parrilla is my favorite quesadilla place! The steak quesadilla is tops, and it’s perfect for lunch or dinner. It’s a little on the pricier side, being that it’s listed as an appetizer. However, the steak has really good flavor, and they give you very tasty guacamole and pico de gallo to put on it. Their tacos are pretty good, as well, but the quesadillas are the stand out for me, obviously. What I really like about this place is that the food is not your standard greasy Americanized-Mexican food; it’s very fresh. My only big con would be that it’s impossible to find a place to sit during lunch rush.

I used to come here about 3 years ago when it first opened must say they still got it the steak tacos are amazing and you can’t go wrong with their guacamole and chips. I must say their chicken wasn’t up to par this time around. But what I love the most is that the steak is chargrilled So you don’t get that greasy taste and pork doesn’t mix with the steak because it’s on a separate skewer. I love the pineapple coconut juice they and to top it off their churros are off the chain with a delicious Carmel dipping sauce.

Great Americanized Mexican food! Everything from the enchiladas to the nachos are always very good. My favorite is the steak nachos, which I highly recommend. Everything comes with chips and salsa, which is mild for those who can’t handle too much heat. There’s a large seating area but at peak lunch and dinner times there may be a short wait. When you first enter, you order at the counter and place your number on your table. The staff is always friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner when you’re in a hurry!

I had an el pastor burrito dinner. This pork is marinated like the Chinese red pork cha sau except it also had hints of pineapple. The skin was crunchy and the meat tender but not dry. Burrito came with iceberg lettuce, refried beans, and pepper Jack cheese on top. The dinner option includes a side of rice and refried beans. In terms of portion size one is more than enough. Burrito could barely fit into my hand. It is at least 4 inches in diameter and 6 inches long. Food was served quick and server’s were very responsive for a semi cheap fast food place. Decorum is mostly modern space wide open from hips up. Chairs are comfortable. If you are looking for a reasonably priced burrito place not full of hipsters, that is family oriented, and tastes awesome, this is the place to be.

I had an al pastor torta and while the al pastor was so tasty, the bread was a bit too hard(probably grilled for a bit too long). Also the chile de Arbol sauce was not too spicy and not too sweet, which was pretty complimentary to the al pastor. My boyfriend had the grilled steak burrito and he said it was good however he wanted more steak! Also they didn’t sell any Jarritos, which is surprising since the Naperville location sells it. Great chips and salsa as well! Overall, I would come back again and try other items!

Two words: unlimited horchata!!! That is all. In all seriousness, we used to live in the area but moved away a few years ago. In fact, this review is long overdue. We have yet to find a restaurant in our area whose horchata compares to Burrito’s. We go directly to Burrito as soon as we are in town for our horchata fix. No joke. Other than the horchata(I’m craving one now and our next to trip to Chicagoland isn’t for many, many months, boohoo) we appreciate the friendly service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Food is fresh and tasty. My kids are fans of the quesadillas, and I enjoy the enchiladas. Did I mention how much we love their horchata?!!

I ordered myself a steak burrito during my first visit and I was really disappointed with my order. I expected the food to taste better since my friends from school kept telling me how good the food at this place is. I decided to give this place another try. For the second time around, I ordered tacos(al pastor) and it was delicious. The meat was juicy and tender. I ordered a combo plate that came with three tacos, bean and rice. I got two al pastor tacos and a chicken taco. The chicken was dry so I would not recommend getting the chicken. While we waited for our orders, the waitress gives us free chips and salsa. One of my favorite parts about this place is the unlimited refill of horchata and pineapple coconut juice. So refreshing and delicious. I would suggest getting the tacos or torta with al pastor and stay away from the steak and the chicken.

Good Mexican food in a nice, clean restaurant. I always get the enchiladas or chicken tacos. You’re guaranteed a solid meal whatever you order but you want be blown away either. Still nothing wrong with a good consistent place

Like all the other reviews have stated, this isn’t your typical hole-in-the-wall authentic Mexican food. It is more Americanized and in some way, probably healthier. I came in for an early dinner over the weekend w/my friends and I got the al pastor tortas w/a drink. The total was around $ 9 and the drink is unlimited pineapple coconut juice or horchata. The pineapple coconut is refreshing and really sweet and tropical. The horchata is on point, perfect amount of cinnamony flavor in the drink. My al pastor tortas was decent, nothing too amazing. I would want to try the fajitas because I saw another customer eating it and it looked really yummy. This restaurant is spacious so you can easily assemble a big party here. Free chip & salsa when you eat at the restaurant!
