We focus on cinematography and photography for any event, commercial or educational purpose.

We capture and deliver 1080P High Definition weddings, commercials, music videos, educational media that is used world wide, as well as award winning short films. Since our background is filmmaking we take a very classically inspired cinematic approach to each of our projects. Careful lighting techniques paired with time lapses with motion and the use of a steadicam and dolly give our videos a very polished, refined feel.

Our still photography services include studio or on location capture using the latest lighting techniques and full frame professional cameras.

History

Established in 2008.

Thournir Productions has been providing professional videography services to clients in 10 states, Holland, Belgium, Denmark and The British Virgin Islands. Our cinematic approach has been featured on sites such as MSN money, AOL Wallet pop and HipHopDX. We provide content for education programs nation wide, and have an average of 14,000 viewers per day. We have been making a name for ourselves filming cinematic wedding videos for satisfied clients in Livermore, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Santa Cruz, San Jose and Gilroy. We are willing to travel world wide for destination videography as well.

Although we will artfully capture just about anything, we focus on producing Cinematic Wedding videos, special event videography and photography, Music videos, commercials and educational media.

Hello,

Welcome to our Yelp page, my name is Tyler and I’m the executive director, lead camera operator, photographer and lead editor for Thournir Productions. I was born and raised in Livermore, graduated from CSU Chico with a Bachelors degree in Communication Design. After graduation, I shot the news for TV30 for a few years then headed abroad for some much needed travel. I moved to Monterey California to start building my company around cinematic wedding videos. I have filmed along side many of the areas top photographers, in the most exclusive venues, and I strive to raise the bar of professionalism and care. Thournir productions were by far my favorite vendor that we had at our wedding. Our wedding video exceeded all expectations and turned out absolutely beautiful! Tyler was professional from the first time that we met with him until we received our video. Tyler and his crew captured all of our special memories while not getting in the way, we weren’t distracted by them at all. He worked well with our photographer figuring out how they can both capture all the shots.
I have to admit, I was hesitant on whether we should have a videographer since wedding prices and vendors can add up quickly, but words can’t describe how thankful I am that we chose to have one and how elated my husband and I are with how the video turned out! Looking back now, there are vendors we would change, but my husband and I would definitely choose Thournir productions over and over again! Thank you Tyler and your team for creating a beautiful memory we’ll have for a lifetime to remember our special day!

We hired Thournir productions for our daughters wedding last June and I am more than pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of Tyler and his company. We met Tyler at a bridal fair and were super impressed with the packages offered and what they included. We had our first meeting with him and knew he would be able to give us everything we were looking for. He was professional and answered all our questions. He did our engagement photos as well and a couple family photos that we connstantly get compliments on. The video for our wedding came out amazing and we love to watch it! Our family was so impressed with the quality and we couldn’t have been happier with the finished product. We would definitely recommend Tyler for any photos or videography. We plan to get new family photos soon and know exactly who we are going to ask!

When we first sat down with Tyler to discuss our wedding video, we could instantly tell that he stood out from the rest. Not only did he go out of his way to meet with us to discuss our vision and expectations for the video, but he truly impressed us by how personal, thoughtful and detail-​oriented he was. Most of our other wedding vendors made us feel like «just another number» in their pool of wedding clients, but not Tyler. He takes such pride in his work and his client’s happiness that we quickly realized we’d hit the videographer jackpot!
Our candlelit ceremony took place on New Year’s Eve in the very beautiful — yet very dark — wine cave at Wente Vineyards. The cave’s lighting (or lack thereof) and sound echoing would be most videographers’ worst nightmares. But tyler went above and beyond to overcome the obstacles of our venue and produce a truly stellar video. I’m most impressed by how he was able to capture all the best moments of the night while never being obtrusive or obvious to us or our guests.
I was so impressed with Tyler’s work and creative versatility that I’ve since referred him to shoot a series of other projects!

Tyler is a is professional. He uses the best equipment and techniques to give you that professional look to your pictures, videos or websites.
Tyler recently shot a video for my company and let me say, IT WAS AMAZING. I had another video shot about a year ago that was decent, but the quality of Tyler’s production put the other one to utter shame.
I would never go with anyone else after using him. He is also very friendly and really listens to what you want, but also gives great opinions to you on how to make your shots come out better.
I will also comment that his prices are very competitive and well worth the service that you receive.

Tyler Shot our wedding last year and did such a great job. We were pleasantly surprised with how fantastic the Blueray turned out and would recommend him to anyone needing video done. Tyler was at the shoot early and was set up ready start shooting before we were even close to ready. He worked well right along side our photographer with out any issues. Since The wedding shoot Tyler Delivered us an amazing Blueray and for a very reasonable cost an external hard drive with all of the raw video that was taken. Tyler included some very cool things in the video including a time lapse that was really neat to watch. I would recommend Tyler as a 5 star customer service grapher and editor. My wife and I were very pleased with his work.

Tyler does amazing work and he’s a blast to work with. As an actor I have worked with Tyler on quite a few projects, he has also done my headshots, and absolutely LOVE getting to work with him. He’s professional and makes you feel so comfortable, especially taking headshots which I usually hate doing, but Tyler makes it fun every time. Even if we are working, I spend so much time laughing and forgetting I have to look a certain way for my pictures, it not only feels like Ive just been hanging out with a buddy chatting all day, but it shows in my pictures because I look comfortable and really happy. (Which I always feel like I normally look awkward and like Im forcing a smile, but with Tyler I WAS SO EXCITED with the way they turned out!) He is so passionate about what he does, he wants everything to be absolutely perfect and exactly what you want, and working with someone like that is so rare. You will get exactly what you are looking for, but with a unique artistic style. He’s easy to talk to and makes sure you are 100% happy with the end result, that it makes working with him fun no matter the occasion. Anything you need Tyler is the man.

I could go on and on about how amazing Tyler is, and how much we absolutely LOVE our wedding video. Tyler was not only very professional, but also made us feel extremely comfortable. It was like having one of our best friends following us around with a video camera, opposed to someone we hired who thinks of us as just another bride and groom on another working weekend. I am so proud of our wedding video and love showing it to people to see their reactions. It is the perfect mixture of beautiful editing, raw emotions and touching moments without being cheesy like many videos I’ve seen in the past.
