I have to agree with what Alleah said. Jose is a guy you trust within moments of meeting him. He’s just got this presentation of authenticity about him. He also clearly knows what he’s doing. His whole rig is specifically setup to do the jobs. Anchors in the right place, straps the right length. He’s a professional and it shows.
I was unfortunate enough to need Jose’s services this past weekend. Bike conked out. Called my roadside. They called Jose. Of course, holiday weekend, tons of calls, nobody working… Jose was apologetic for my wait, even though Roadside had been very forward about how long it would take.
He had me loaded and on the way home fast. His rig was clean, cleanest I’ve ridden in (and the bike’s been towed a few times lately as I get it all sorted out). As I mentioned, his rig well sorted out and Jose has done this a lot.
He was telling me about the long tows he’s had and some of the adventures picking up people on the way, as well as the friends he has in other parts of the state and how they network to get us all home.
I kept his number. I’ll be asking for him when I call roadside in the future.
If you need a bike towed in Norcal, call him. Even if you need to get far away, call him. He probably knows how to help.

First time calling Jose and I couldn’t be happier with his service! Called around looking for a motorcycle tow and all the quotes were surprisingly ridiculous! Jose gave me a great reasonable quote and came to the rescue! My boyfriend and I drove home and left the bike on the side of the freeway for him. He texted me when he was on his way to pick it up and then told me I didn’t have to come back out there. I was able to sit in the convenience of my home and Jose let me know when he was out front. He takes card which is also super convenient! I’ll definitely recommend him and use him again if I ever need another tow! Thank you Jose!

Jose was great — he’s responsive, has clear communications and is almost minute perfect in his timing. He transported a bike from Sonoma to my home on A friday night in Summer. The system on his truck for lifting motorcycles is really very cool. I’ll definitely use him again.

My Husband’s motorcycle got a flat as he was entering the Martinez Bridge (great place to get stuck… NOT). We have AAA roadside service. As my Husband was waiting, Jose was coming off the bridge and turned around to check on my husband. He offered to tow my husband; we didn’t have the cash to pay him. Jose sat and waited with my husband for two hours. YES two hours on the bridge. WOW he has never met my husband nor our family, to sit for two hours while with a complete stranger without pay!!! What a AWESOME MAN! Jose I can not thank you enough for your thoughtfulness and kindness you showed my husband!

I’ve used Jose twice now… and all you need to know is that this guy is great.
Last year my partner and I were moving and hours before we had to be out of the house we realized the bikes were dead. We looked at Unilocal and found Jose. He didn’t have many reviews but we were in a crunch.
Jose immediately was super friendly on the phone. He promptly came to save our a**.
He was super friendly and clearly knew how to take care of bikes really really well.
He loaded up our dead bikes (Harley Night Rod Special and a Suzuki SV650) and brought them to our storage unit.
Jose is the kind of guy you immediately trust. It is not often you find someone who will take care of the bikes the way you (or your dad/​grandfather) would.
I kept Jose’s number because I knew we’d need him again when we returned from traveling.
1.5 years later I called him up and said, «hey it’s us… the girls with the bikes!» He instantly remembered us and was really happy to hear from us.
We needed him Friday afternoon, he had other appointments but he actually moved them around to come help us out.
The bikes needed a tow to the mechanic to get new batteries and have a little maintenance work.
At this point, we trusted Jose and just gave him some cash, the bikes, keys (and the new batteries) and asked him to bring them to the mechanic. He brought them there (without us) and texted us they were all set.
It’s not everyday you find someone that you trust THAT much. But it was a relief because we were so busy that it was wonderful not to have to go to the mechanic.
Obviously we’ll be calling Jose next time we or a friend are in need of a tow.
Jose is a busy guy… but he is building another truck for his son… so capacity will be double.

I guess this guy can do it all! My truck was in need of a trailer and tow from Benicia to Sacramento. Jose gave me a time of arrival and was there 10 min early prepared as ever. He was very polite, professional, and treated my vehicle like his own. Two thumbs up Jose!

My bike broke down on the side of the freeway and my insurance company sent him to pick up the bike. He got to me very quickly and he was very polite (even made me laugh, which was nice considering the unfortunate situation i was in). His tow truck was like nothing i have ever seen before, brand new lift bed, and was able to load up the bike very easily with only 1 person. In the past with towing companies, the driver has you help because their rigs are meant for cars. Not this guy. He had it loaded, strapped down, and ready to go in just about 10 minutes. He dropped my bike off at the shop and that was that. I will be contacting him from now on whenever i need a motorcycle towed. I highly recommend him to others.
