This place makes me crazy and has become a joke between my fiancée and I, we come to Leavenworth every year and walk the town from one end to the other every time we have walked in, we are never greeted, the lady looks at us and then back to whatever she is doing at the time… really not even a simple hi, I’m not asking for them to pull out the red carpet and being retail I know the stress of working but really not even a welcome in or can I get something for you? Nope nothing just looks up and then back to whatever is more important then business… needles to say I never get anything…1 sale even if small is still a sale and great customer services should be provided weather it be busy or slow! Want a great cup of coffee try the many other establishments in town that value there customers! And the fudge hut is just across the street and is always delicious!

Could not find this spot. Instead I found a motel with a very nice lady that hooked me up with a couple cups of coffee after I told her I would make a note that this building is not the loft or this coffee spot.

Excellent coffee and very friendly people. I had the mocha and added a little cinnamon. It was perfect! Definitely worth a walk up the stairs :)

If you’re in Leavenworth and craving coffee(or chocolate) check out Icicle Coffee & Chocolates! You can smell their coffee from the mini mall entrance that they’re nestled in. I ordered a coffee frappé which was made with coffee(not the flavored syrup) and was the perfect combination of sweet and bitter. I also noticed that the condiment bar was well stocked with a variety of sweeteners and creamers. There isn’t a lot of seating, so larger groups may have to grab sweets to-go. One of their tall café tables has a large chess board set up, there’s a small gift shop area and a barrel of local honey sold by the lb. If you’re looking for a fairly quiet spot to grab a cup of coffee and get away from the crowd, then this is it!

I’m not sure if this place is new but I hope they get more business! I was in here for a few hours enjoying a game of chess on a gigantic game board and hardly saw any customers. Probably because it’s hidden away from all the foot traffic. I stumbled on it accidentally myself and glad I did because the coffee frapp was made real good not too sweet with the perfect amount of coffee added with some chocolate syrup. Yum! Way better than the Starbucks across the street. They also have cute little gifts, chocolates, truffles and games on all the tables to play with! So fun…

Service was a bit impersonal. It was along the lines of «what do you want. ok… here… bye» my mocha was good though so maybe we just caught him on a bad day.

This coffee shop is so quaint and inviting. The tables have games you can play or you can bring your own set of cards and enjoy a quick game while you enjoy a coffee and sweets break after going through a bunch of shops in downtown Leavenworth. You’re bound to need a coffee break whether you’re visiting Little Bavaria for the shopping or the German beer and this is the place you should go.

Went here after the total fail at Starbucks. The coffee was very good, the service was nice and friendly. Wish I’d looked at their huge selection flavors before I ordered. Will totally come back when we’re in town next.
