Pretty nice little shop serving top-notch gelato made in-house, 24÷7÷365. The tiramisu or the stracciatella are probably their two best options, though the coffee works well with those too. Even in the winter time, this is worth the quick stop before you mosey on down front street for more window shopping…

It may be cold outside and we could have had hot chocolate but instead we get gelato. We had chocolate and limoncello. The chocolate is flavorful. And limoncello is more like a sorbet. And price is good.

Great flavor every time we come! It’s become a family tradition for us to come 2 ½ hours every year to Leavenworth in the fall and we always make a stop here! Last night I had the Salted Carmel(amazing) and tonight I’m having Strawberry and Mango :-) Yumyum!

Nothing new here other than a sweet treat in a festive town. I tried four flavors before settling on the sugar free chocolate and coffee and was unimpressed with flavor and texture of most. Gelato is good, but this store is nothing to rave about.

We had a lovely experience 2 nights in a row at Via dolce. The two young ladies Miakaylie and Kirsten were friendly and sweet to my family. Dawn the manager came out and also chatted with us during out second visit and all employees were just lovely. I cannot have dairy and they had a wide variety of delicious dairy free flavors. I had raspberry and lemon both nights which was an amazing combination! My kids and husband also loved their Gelato which made the whole family happy. My only negative comment was I was very put off when an incredibly rude woman came in and complained very rudely to the ladies inside. After belittling them and treating them poorly she stormed out. I can only assume the woman was the owner of the establishment and if I was reviewing just her she would have received 1 star. Keep up the friendly smiles ladies. You’re doing an excellent job!

food: panna cotta. creamy and soft. it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes between regular ice cream and gelato. this wasnt too sweet. it was great at first, but a bit bland after a few more bites. ***3/5 service: lines can get long. i was lucky to get in before the crowd hits.***3/5 value: on par with most ice cream spots. nothing that keeps me away from other ice cream shops. ***3/5

My husband and I came here because I had a craving for gelato. I had a scoop of tiramisu, which I loved and a scoop of birthday cake, that I could’ve lived without. A little too sweet for me. The employees were friendly and the prices were good. My husband ordered a strawberry Italian soda, but he said it tasted a little off. I’d go back to try their other gelato flavors.

Very good ice cream. Came here because of the long line up attracted me. Standard number of choices. I believe the owner basically owns the whole building and yes he runs all business in the building which includes the meat shop, ice cream shop, the sausage place and yes the restaurant upstairs. I do like the flavor. Got the amaretto and hazelnut. love it. But I did noticed they didn’t ask me if I wanted it in a cone or cup but they assumed automatically I wanted it in a cup. Well I didn’t mind that day so didn’t say anything. But I did wish I didn’t get the ice cream after lunch at Visconti because nearby there was a busier ice cream place. But again it was really hot that day like 28 degree and so ice cream is mandatory.

Really enjoyed the gelato here. Ordered the sweet cream and chocolate. Both flavored were excellent and price is fair. Nice that they had some seating especially when the weather is over 100 degrees. Would come again.

Went here tonight after our German dinner. I got raspberry and mango. Loved the raspberry! Mango was okay. I would definitely like to try the pear, blood orange or toasted almond next time. One of the only dessert shops open at 8:30pm at night. Kind of surprised as there were many people still walking out and about this time of the evening.

Steven is absolutey the best. The owner should be very thankful for him as he is a great assest to his business. The owner does have some rules in place that are not customer friendly – such as– they are trained scoop and clean the bottom, away from the toppings on the top before moving on to where the toppings are. So the only way a customer can enjoy any of the toppings is to be either the first customer of that flavor or the last. I told Steven he was very good – but would let the owner know to rethink his policy.

This place is rad! Pros — Great gelato, good pricing, lots of flavors, window seating so you can watch the street and it’s always REALLYWARM in the shop. That’s a huge plus when its 20 degrees out. Cons — sometimes they don’t have my favorite flavor which is cinnamon… it tastes like a gourmet version of the milk that’s left over after you eat cinnamon toast crunch! You know you like it! That’s honestly the only con I can think of… they switch out there flavors on a rotation so if you are über specific(my wife calls it picky) like me then you may miss out on the one flavor you LOVE, but they always have about 20 different flavors to choose from.

I got something with dried cranberries in it, it was kind of weird. If I ate around the cranberries it was pretty good. The service was also kind of weird. One of the guys kept asking the other if he was his friend or something. Obviously just trying to annoy the other guy. Just made the environment kind of awkward. My next trip to Leavenworth I will probably try them again.

If you’ve had more than one brand/company of gelato and have had viadolce’s I think you’ll notice the texture is standard, not as smooth as what I’ve had, but not bad either. 4 stars. Standard parlor: no cool/cute décor, just the basics for what one needs to run a coffee, gelato, Italian soda joint. 3 stars for average. Standard service: I asked for 2 samples and the gentleman was quick to provide them, patient guy, he had a constant trickle of customers since I had arrived, no smiles. 3 stars for average. My wife got a strawberry Italian soda she liked it, I didn’t care for it. Not sweet enough. I don’t know if there are other gelato dedicated shops. If there aren’t I recommend visiting if you need a gelato fix. This was on a Monday.

Pretty tasty on a hot day, however not the best gelato I’ve had. They have a wide variety of flavors. I had the mango and passion fruit.

We came in with a group of 7 people. We were so excited for gelato that we wanted to sample practically EVERYTHING before we decided on a flavor.(Sorry, I know… we were being THOSE people). The poor guy behind the counter was probably overwhelmed but he kept his cool, engaged in conversation, and gave us great customer service. The flavors were great! From cherry, blood orange and fig to coffee, white chocolate and cinnamon, Viadolce offered a great assortment of flavors; enough for everyone to find something that they liked. I was surprised to find such a good gelato shop in Leavenworth so it was definitely worth the stop.

One of the things I miss about living in the city limits of Leavenworth is walking to Viadolce after dinner on a summer evening for a gelato. We still try and visit when we are eating out in town. Lots of delicious flavors and the staff are always happy to serve you a ton of samples so you order just the right one. If my father-in-law ever goes missing, this will be the first place I look.

Yum yum. Perfect for a warm day! A small is 2 scoops and very reasonably priced. Lemon Pound cake gelato — amazing. Totally tastes like pound cake! So far my favorite. Also loved the Salted Caramel, Coconut, mango. Blood Orange is a bit too sugary and Lemon a bit too tart.

Good Stuff. I liked the Gelato here. It was hot and we needed something to cool our jets. The Passion fruit gelato was different. Tasty. just the right combination of tart, sweet and cream. I’m a former fatty, so I want to know. how come Gelato places are so skimpy with the servings. People tell me it’s healthier than ice cream, so why not serve the same amount as ice cream? Things that make me go hmmmburger and french fries. I would come back here again though, it was tasty enough.
