Rio’s Wine Cellar and Tasting Room is home to one of the most impressive public wine collections in the United States. Located in the resort’s Masquerade Village, this must-​see Vegas destination showcases some 10,000 bottles, valued at more than $ 10 million. As you stroll upon rustic stone tile, passing through rock and brick archways, you’ll come across rare collectibles like a bottle of 1800 Madeira from — wait for it — Thomas Jefferson’s cellar.

The Wine Cellar also has hard-​to-​find «cult wines» in its matured wine vault. The shelves come stocked with collectibles from around the world like Italy’s Sassicia or Australia’s Penfold’s Grange. The Wine Cellar also carries an impressive selection of everyday wines.

Now, on to the fun part: The bar at Wine Cellar and Tasting Room is a unique Las Vegas wine experience, offering more than 100 wines by the glass. Interact with the fun and professional wine stewards at the bar. Or, relax on the luxurious leather couches while sipping on a single malt scotch, port or cognac.

While you’re here, pair your wine with delectable bites. The Tasting Room offers a splendid food and wine-​pairing menu, featuring flavorful spreads to international cheeses, served with a basket of freshly baked breads. The Wine Cellar specializes in private wine tasting seminars, wine tasting parties and dinner.
