This review is STRICTLY for the nurse who does the non stress test ultrasounds, I believe her name is Denise.
The provider i see is Dr Harter at the centennial location. I was told at 36 weeks that baby and myself were measuring small, so they were going to start doing weekly non stress testing. Because of my work schedule and all my appointments w Dr Harter being on Mondays I now have to drive to spring valley location for my NST then drive to centennial for my regular weekly appointments. No big deal.
Upon arrival Denise was very cheerful and immediately started explaining the procedure and what we are looking for and that I would know during my appointment how things went. She basically gave me a 15 minute crash course on NST. She went over fluid levels, heart rate and how long I would be there. She was extremely compassionate and put me at ease. While my test results came back perfect, she explained why she’s so informative because its nerve wracking having to go for additional testing for the baby, especially when it means if the baby didn’t pass I would get a one way ticket to go to the hospital where they take the baby out. So this test was a pretty big deal.
I really appreciated her kindness and how informative she was. The time went by fast and I’m happy that I’ll be seeing her for my weekly visits because she made it so pleasant. Thank you Denise!!!

This is just a review of the call center and hopefully my review will go up after meeting with the dr. So I initially made my first appointment with dr pedroso for oct. 5 in early sep but had to reschedule for oct 23. Then I get a call that the appointment was cancelled due to her moving locations. No availability until end of November somehow. So I switch to dr harter for nov 13 and was told I can call back for cancellations. Call back end of sep and I’m able to get oct 29. Call today for any cancellations and Marissa tells me NO ONE cancels dr. Harters appointments b/​c they know he’s busy and he’s booked solid til March. So I asked what if I have to make a follow up appointment I won’t be seen til March? She says oh no we would get you in. But you just said he’s booked solid.
If you don’t want to move my appointment up say that but don’t blatantly lie your way out of checking his availability because you know he can be busy. I’m almost tempted to go directly to the office for an appointment because this call center obviously is no good.

Walking into this place I knew it was not going to be the best visit. The ladies behind the counter were less than attentive to the people coming in and more concerned about talking to each other. The waiting room was very cramped and crowded. Got as many chairs in there as they could.
Got there over 40 minutes before our appointment to fill out paperwork since it was my wife’s first time here. After waiting 23 minutes after our scheduled appointment, they called us back. The assistant gave little confidence sense she knew less than my wife as she told us about pregnancy phases while trying to read the information from a pamphlet. Telling us that the doctor «suggestes» these additional tests and speaking as someone who never went past elementary school. This coupled with her persistent cough had me looking for the door.
The saving grace was when Shawna kneesel came in and started speaking to my wife and I about what we had to look forward to over the next 7 months and answering any questions we had. Still felt a little rushed but she did give us confidence in selecting her.

I waited for approximately 2 months to get an appointment with Dr. Ceballos but figured she was worth the wait as I found a couple of good reviews online. Walking into the office, the front office staff has the TV blaring on the news and cannot be bothered to greet the patients walking in as they were too busy speaking Spanish amongst themselves. No biggie, I was there to see the doctor after all.
I was called back by Juana, the CNA, who was knowledgeable and personable — she gave me hope for the establishment. I disrobed and waited patiently for Dr. Ceballos, who came in a while later. She smiled and introduced herself but that was where the formalities stopped. I was there for my annual check-​up but also because I was experiencing some major discomfort with chronic UTI’s. I tried to explain to her what I was feeling but she would not even let me talk. She was very dismissive and stated if I knew what was causing them that I should just stop having sex (this seems to be her favorite diagnosis). I tried to tell her what I was experiencing was not normal and that I had already had 4 – 5 UTI’s thus far and it wasn’t even June yet. She stated those needed to be documented which was understandable –we agreed I would get all of my UTI diagnoses’ over to her for review and treatment. She did not examine my breasts which I thought was weird as I was there for my annual checkup. Feeling talked down to and like my health issues were completely irrelevant, I left the office crying.
Three weeks passed and I never got a call regarding my results. Being concerned as I went for an annual and because I was experiencing major discomfort, I called the office and a staff member informed me «she got the results back she just hasn’t looked at them yet.» That day, the office called me and advised my PAP was irregular and I had to come back for a colposcopy (this came to no surprise to me as I tried to explain something was wrong on my first visit to her) The next appointment they had was 4 weeks later and against my better judgment, I reluctantly took it.
Dreading my upcoming visit with Dr. Ceballos, I recruited my significant other into coming to my procedure with me. Once again Juana was friendly and welcoming — she explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions. Dr. Ceballos then came into the room and was very curt and acted like she didn’t really have time for this. I told her I talked to my primary doctor about a couple of symptoms I was having who suggested I talk to her (Dr. Ceballos) about a couple of possible causes. Dr. Ceballos stated my primary doctor should stay out of it and leave the «gynecology» business up to them. My significant other then reminded her the only reason we had to go to a primary doctor was because her office was too busy to see me and that she was very dismissive of my symptoms, to which she did not respond (mind you she already had her hands on the door handle ready to walk out to see her next patient even though I still had some concerns). We then asked her about treatment options for my chronic UTI’s to which she replied she couldn’t do anything until she had documentation proving I have had 4 – 5 UTI’s like I had mentioned previously. We reminded her she had that documentation; however she said Juana could answer the rest of our questions and left. My procedure was performed mid-​august and my follow up was scheduled for mid-​September.
Feeling like she definitely couldn’t be bothered with my issues and being very condescending every time I tried to ask a question, I decided to pull my medical records and take them to another gynecologist. To my surprise, she noted my breasts were fine and no irregularities were found on them — not exactly sure how she could have possibly known any of that as she didn’t even bother to give me a full examination.
If you want a doctor with bedside manners — go somewhere else. If you want a doctor that will bother with a full annual examination — go somewhere else. If you want a doctor that listens to your problems and treats your symptoms — go somewhere else. If you’re looking for a doctor that is condescending, notes she performed procedures she didn’t and talks down to you — Dr. Ceballos is definitely the doctor for you.

Please please stay away from Melissa Gutierrez, I was furious to find out that I got hit with hundreds of dollars bills after she told me the service I received was covered by my insurance 100%, you know what the funny thing is? I totally anticipate things like this would happen, where a doctor just tell you something that’s covered under your insurance when it’s actually not, so I ASKED HER 3 times on that visit to make sure if the lab work is REALLY covered 100% and she said YES. Not beliving her, I asked the front desk cashier, as well as the person who performed the service, they ALL TOLD ME it’s covered 100% by my insurance as it’s part of preventive care. And STUPID me that I asked everyone else in that clinic except my insurance company. I called them and asked why did they submit service that is not covered by my insurance, they just simply refused to be responsible for the bill and left me fighting with my insurance. I’m not going to give up letting everyone know HOW EVIL that clinic is, how can they just assume all the service are covered 100% by the insurance when they later argue with me «well, not all the doctor know what your insurance covered», THEN WHY DIDN’T they just tell me «not all the service are covered by your insurance, so you might want to check with your insurance first», but instead, they just told me «might as well do it because it’s covered by your insurance 100%», PLEASE TAKE MY WORD, NEVER believe anything the doctor told you to do, ALWAYS call and check with your insurance WHEN YOU ARE at the clinic. HOW CROOKED this world has become, SHAME ON YOU!
*I didn’t even ask to perform the service, at the end of my check up, she just randomly asked me «do you want to do this service as it’s covered by your insurance 100%?» I never even know about that service until she mentioned about it and I fell for it, I DID NOT ask for that service initially. I hereby state everything I said are true, and the doctor did word for word say it’s covered by my insurance 100%.

DO NOT GO HERE! Unprofessional and Uneducated all in one. Not only did they not inform in the front that my Dr wasn’t in and was at a meeting at another site but they charged my card as If I was going into see her! No STARS at all, to at least call and let patients know to reschedule their appointments or inform them that Dr had a last minute appointment is too much for them. It was empty in the clinic by the way so it was not busy. I am Very upset and will not be coming here no more.

This place used to be great until they changed everything! My sister and I saw that same doctor and we were not notified with that doctor left and they said we should have gotten a letter letting us know. Utter crap considering neither one of us received anything! My pharmacy had to let me know and that was after they repeatedly contacted them asking. Crap customer/​patient service and their Spring Valley location is a nightmare! No appointments available till late August! Don’t go here unless you want long waits and crap service!

I was 15 minutes late to my appointment, which I blame on the incorrect address on the «provider-​lookup» website. I tried calling 3 times to let them know that I was lost and kept getting that recording. Every time I tried to reach an operator, it said that no one was available and kicked me off the call.
Finally, I found the correct location by the Spring Valley Hospital. I was informed by the receptionist, that since I am late, that the midwife Marsha may not be able to see me. OK, I inform the receptionist that their address is incorrect on the «provider-​lookup» website and tried calling 3 times to let them know that I would be late. She informs me that there is no direct line to their office and she’d ask the midwife if she would still see me. Hallelujah, midwife Marsha is able to see me but I will have to wait a bit since I was late. I agree and finish up my book of paperwork.
Next, as I was called in by midwife Marsha’s assistant, she comments, «You’re late! Just so you know, midwife Marsha usually doesn’t see patients if they’re late, but since there were some cancellations, she can!» (Hooray for me, right?). I respond, «And JUST SO YOU KNOW, assistant to midwife Marsha, your address on the „provider-​lookup“ website is wrong and I couldn’t get through on that phone number that you provide.». Assistant then tells me she’d inform the office manager. OK cool.
I never got my Pap smear done (I was a month too early for my insurance to pay, so that’s my fault), but midwife Marsha was extremely condescending telling me that my insurance won’t pay for this visit and when I ask how much they charge, she claims in an indignant tone, «It’ll be $ 400! I really don’t know!»
Really? She doesn’t know how much? Doesn’t she get paid to do pap smears? And $ 400 is extreme for someone without an ‘MD’ after her name.
I decided to wait till next month so I know for sure my insurance would pay. I waited a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes in that robe they give.
Oh, and I will not be returning there next month.

If I were writing this review based on the doctor alone then I would give Dr. Marsha Brown 0 stars. I’m giving 2 because of the girl at the front desk. Unfortunately I never got her name but she was very kind and courteous and respectful. The waiting room was also very clean and tidy with a nice big screen tv. I was also called back exactly at my appointment time. The nurse was also very nice and helpful as well.
Now for the bad part, the doctor. I went in as a first visit because I am pregnant with my first child. Naturally, I had a lot of questions. We talked for a few minutes and then I pulled out a piece of paper from my purse with questions I didn’t want to forget to ask. I am having baby brain already and I didn’t want to forget anything! I told her that I had a few more questions if she didn’t mind. She said, and I quote, «well the patients waiting behind you probably will but you can ask anyway.» Was that really necessary? Then one of my questions was how long will our visits be. She replied «5 – 10 minutes and this visit has gone on much longer than that.» In all reality it hadn’t been much more than that, and how is it my fault that you scheduled a new patient for a 5 minute visit!!! You have got to be kidding me. Worst doctor visit I have ever had.
Please take my advice and don’t waste your time with Dr. Brown.

«Dr.» Marsha Brown was the rudest, most unprofessional doctor I have EVER encountered. I only recommend her if you want to be treated like trash, and wait almost 3 hours to see her. I went to her today because my original and wonderful Dr. Ivie left that office (I can now see why) and I hadn’t been to that office since I gave birth 2 years ago. I was ten minutes late, and because of that they decided to make me wait 2 hours and 45 minutes without being attended. I understand I was late, and I did my time by waiting. By the time the «Doctor» decided to come into my room, I had received a business call and was on the phone. She asked me if I was about to finish, and I told her yes that I was about to hang up. I couldn’t hang up in that exact moment because it was an important call. She had left and came back a minute later and said with a bad attitude «You know what, I’m going to see the patient next door you’ll have to wait 20 more minutes.» I was already hanging up in that minute that she returned and I responded to her «Really? I just waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to see you. I’m not gonna wait another 20.» She then responded «Its thanks to me that although you were 10 minutes late, I still accepted to see you.» First of all, the office was not busy whatsoever. Second of all, I don’t know where she gets off talking to me with such a nasty attitude. I then asked for my money back at the check out counter, and here she came again screaming to give me my money back so I could leave. Why is she so aggressive and this was my first time coming to see her? Its not like it was free, I paid, and I waited a ridiculous wait time. You’re late 10 minutes to a doctors appointment and all hell breaks loose, but when they make you wait ridiculous times we have to be okay with it. Its outrageous. She was the most unprofessional doctor and person I have ever met, and highly discourage anyone from seeing her. I’m going to write reviews everywhere her name is online, and reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. I didn’t deserve to be treated so wrongly, and this is not the last time I’ll be heard from. I’m so disappointed, and will never return to this office. I can now see why Dr. Ivie chose to leave.

Probably my worst experience with a clinic. Mind you, I grew up in the third world. I received better care there? No way? I’m currently a patient here & already, I’ve regretted my decision to choose this clinic.
My second time to visit to the clinic, the receptionist with a facial piercing, Danielle «T.» (she wouldn’t give her last name), who impatiently shouted her name at me when I misheard & mumbled some complaint immediately after, told me & hubby the news that we’re to completely pay off our medical bill in about 6 weeks. Surprise!
My friends tell me they took years to completely pay off theirs. So we asked Danielle «T.» if they offer payment plans. She left the room, talked to someone, came back & informed us that the most they could do was give us a few more weeks to pay off our few thousand dollars in medical bills.
The following day, we called the clinic & found out they have a financial advisor. But since Danielle the badass receptionist didn’t bother telling us & had us sign the document, we were then required to pay the delivery fee asap. My bad, but I didn’t feel like we were really being given a choice.
When we met with the financial advisor, she was ambiguous & had a condescending tone, like she was talking to 1^st graders with an IQ of 25. There was no private room for discussing financial matters, & anyone passing by could easily get in on anyone else’s business.
My midwife seemed rushed, dismissive, & impatient, like her next patient was maybe FLOTUS. My other doctor, bless her because she was superrr nice, didn’t give me a general idea of a good blood sugar range for me, someone with gestational diabetes. I had to Google this, & I don’t trust Dr. Google too well. The ultrasound lady was somewhat robotic & didn’t introduce herself. She was nice, but had possibly done ultrasounds so many times that she’s a little dead inside & can no longer feign excitement for any couple finding out their baby’s gender for the first time.
I don’t know if this clinic is better or worse than the Women’s Resource Center, where the receptionist asked me if the guy with me was my husband OR «some guy off the street». Wow. Because people actually pick a random guy off the street to go with them when they do their very 1^st ultrasound ever.
WSC is a clinic that I would recommend to neither friends nor foes. While I haven’t had to deal with the notorious wait time, which is a blessing, the service is simply not worth it. Read the reviews below & decide for yourself. I’m currently trying to find out if it’s an option to switch providers. With the exception of the 1 kind girl in the small room where they draw blood (the other 1 was annoyed that I wasn’t shedding enough blood, like that was my fault), I simply don’t like the staff or service at WSC, or how they do things.
They are not very nice here. A lot of the staff members are, pardon the term, quite b***hy; it might be best to change their initials from WSC to PMS. It’s 1 of those places that leave you feeling rather mistreated, & you find yourself wanting to go back & go Pretty Woman on them: «BIG mistake. HUGE.»
WellHealth «Quality Care» really isn’t very accurate. It seems the care that they offer & the way they treat patients is simply, sorry to say, substandard.
Update: we’ve found another clinic in Summerlin. Naturally, it’s better than WSC. When we called WSC to let them know we were getting my records, someone on the phone said it will take them 5 – 7 days to process everything. Five to seven days. We went there to submit a signed consent form on the same day & BOOM, someone was able to give us a complete copy of my records in 5 – 7 minutes.

I am sorely disappointed in the staff and the accommodations for clients. I schedule my exam for 1030, arrived 15 min early for paperwork an did not get taken into a room for even preliminary vitals until 90 minutes after my appointment. 2 hours later I vow I will never return. All I need is birth control as these people cannot even handle that. I a doctor myself and would never treat my clients this way. And I have no decent colleagues that would!!!

I will not even comment on the quality of the actual medical practice at this office because the wait times are so ridiculous they outweigh any value this office delivers.
My wife had our 2^nd child at this office and things went very good with that one. Dr. Ivie was attentive and did a great job at making it to the delivery even though she was leaving for a vacation later that same day.
However, when we started the process for our 3^rd is when things started going downhill. We first called in and tried to make an appointment for the initial pregnancy checkup and they said they were booked and could not fit us in for at least 2 months. Even when we emphasized again that that would push us past the normal timeline they still said there was nothing they could do earlier. We had no other choice but to wait (we tried looking around at this point to other offices but since we truly would be new patients to those offices the first available appointment was at least a 2 month wait).
I feel it is very poor treatment of your existing patients to delay and mess up the timeline of important pregnancy checkups simply due to overbooking and bad office management.
On top of this, over the last several months the waiting times in their lobby are ridiculous. We would arrive at least 10 – 15 minutes before our scheduled time and would not be seen into a room until at least 45 minutes past our appointment time. The waiting room is so packed full of people I would usually stand outside the door and just have my wife call for me once her name was finally called.
Their billing department is also not very good as they would repeatedly charge copays when none were required and then would take months to refund it back to us.
As I said at the beginning, Dr. Ivie is great but I firmly do NOT recommend this doctor’s office.

First off let me start off by saying, I LOVE DR. IVIE! As far as their office staff and office manager, I only give them one star. This will be the THIRD, YES THIRD, time this has happened to me. I schedule my appointment over a month in advance, drive all the way to the appointment, wait, wait wait, then come to find out… MY APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!! No one ever called me to reschedule to let me know the appointment was cancelled. I have left several messages for this office manager to call me back and she never returned my messages, phone calls, or emails! If it wasn’t for Dr. Ivie, I would definitely be looking for a new doctor.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for first time mothers like myself… If I would’ve known you can’t switch doctors after 34 weeks pregnant I would’ve switched doctors a LONG time ago. I’m almost due & my doctor is Dr. Brill, he isn’t personal what so ever & doesn’t try to create any type of relationship with you which really sucks because since this is my first baby I should atleast have a relationship with my doctor… He’s very dismissive & EVERY single time I go for an appointment he takes a very long time to come to my room & he’s so quick to get out of the room once I finally see him. He doesn’t really tell me much… I learn more off my baby app than I do when I go to his office.

Here are some of the experiences with woman’s specialty and you can be the judge.
I saw Dr. King throughout my entire pregnancy and he was nice and answered most of questions. He has a good sense of humor. There were times where he’d get really busy and be in and out. I feel like he was overbooked a lot of my visits.
There were a couple times where I saw Dr. Brill since Dr. King went on vacation and he was very informative, experienced, and nice as well. They were nice enough to reschedule me when Dr. Brill seem overbooked. This helped make my wait time seem reasonable for him.
When it came down to my labor and delivery I was not informed or told that I could be a possible VBAC candidate. I was told I would require a repeat csection due to my first born being a csection.
The day I went into labor I had no prior signs as my doctor never check me. I went in and Dr. Kneesel was on duty and she then told me I would make a great candidate for a VBAC which again I had not been informed or given the option for prior to going into labor. I am so overjoyed that I was able to give birth vaginally because it was something I always wished I was able to experience and I did with this pregnancy.
The only real negative I have is the wait time is forever even if you are early. Plan on a 1 – 3 hour (s) wait time. The wait time is worth it if you’re waiting for the right doctor.
Overall, I liked woman’s specialty care and would recommend but please always ask questions on the possibilities for your pregnancy and what you can have as I would hate for someone to have miss an opportunity like I almost did.

Had 2 appointments at this location so far. Both times the waiting area is packed like sardines and pregnant patients were standing against the walls and outside the door because the waiting room was so full. The wait has always been long. I’ve seen women get called up & leave their kids to take up 2 or 3 chairs while they were being seen by the doctor. As for the reception desk, no one greets you, you just sign your name in & sit down, but there is a younger girl that works the front that has always been polite when I’ve had to talk to someone.
Upon meeting my doctor (Kneesel) for the first time, she was very rushed. As soon as she came in the room she told me to prep for a pap. As soon as she was done with the swab, she was already saying her goodbye speech, when the results will come in & when my next appointment will be, etc. I told her I had questions to ask her since I had just met her. She said, «Let’s run through them quickly» with a look of dismay on her face. I’ll never forget that. Excuse me for wanting to get to know you, on our first meeting, as my doctor for my pregnancy and waiting 1 hour in that waiting room to ask you questions about your practice. Someone knocked on the door and told her she had a phone call, then she cut me off and told me to come back with the rest of my questions at my next visit (next month).
I take this as a sign to look for another provider while there’s still time.

My first impression was not a good one. I walked in 30 min early, as requested, for paperwork. I signed in and was not acknowledged for about 10 minutes. Finally, I was called back up and given paperwork. The office was too hot and too packed. I think there are 5 providers but for every 1 person called back a half dozen came in and a high number of them were in house slippers. I think they also used the waiting room as daycare because there were a lot of children and noise.
I saw Dr. Brill and was not impressed with his bedside manner or the dismissive tone he answered my questions. I do not feel that I was given any sort of consideration or reassurance.
I was sent for an ultrasound at a different office and it was just as bad as the first. This office even had a receptionist who’s bum was showing, in her scrubs. I watched a back office person reprimand a front office person and was asked to stand and wait while they «caught up». The amount of unprofessionalism was beyond comprehension. The last straw was the food on the floor in the ultrasound room. I will never set foot in these clinics again and I feel bad for any woman who thinks this is a normal office.
** Update: I was just informed that I had been sent to collections for a lab bill from Dr. Brill’s office. I had received no notification that I had an outstanding balance by mail or phone. Very annoyed.

Typical crowded waiting room where they pack it full and take your blood pressure about an hour after your appointment and make you wait for hours for probably a 10 minute window with the doctor.
Was here for my wife’s OB appointment and I have to say that the wait is an epic suck. Nice chairs, but with the amount of sick kids running around which I assume is because moms were in there for their OB appointments, it was a festering sick cluster if you know what I mean.
Strangely enough, perhaps the niceness of the waiting room is inversely proportional to the wait time. At Duke Hospital, it was something like a 1.5 hour wait after your appointment time but it was… NICE. But I digress.
Once inside, they take you through what is a pretty typical clinic setting. I will say that Dr. Brill, the nurses, and staff were all pretty nice and it didn’t feel like rushed service once you got in. But it was the «getting in» part that you’ll have to suffer through.
If women have to do this a lot, I feel for them. Men that would have to go to these types of appointments probably would have went crazy by now.
