Memory Lane Video

I came across Memory Lane Video as I searched for videography options for our wedding this past April. I was immediately struck by their cinematography and reached out for additional information shortly after. Ricky contacted me almost immediately with a sample video that floored both me and my, now, husband. While we entertained other companies, no one’s product seemed to top MLV’s.
Ricky and John quickly became one of my favorite wedding vendors to chat with. I loved their professionalism and timeliness in answering any questions we had. The day-​of timeline that John laid out practically saved our wedding day in the absence of a dedicated day-​of coordinator. The video shoot on the day of our wedding was quite exciting and intimidating at times. I know there were a number of times I did things during filming that we were asked NOT to do, but the crew was very polite in correcting our mistakes. The camera equipment was all very top-​of-​the-​line — no bootleg /​home camera quality videos here!!! Everyone was very fun and adapted well to our crazy «cast of characters.» I’m sure the crew had plenty of stories to laugh at by the end of the night. ;-)
Overall, MLV has exceeded our expectations on the services we’ve received to date. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the final product, especially since our wedding day is somewhat a blur to the both of us now. I’m just praying that any potentially harmful, incriminating, or embarrassing moments were edited out in order to protect the innocent… Haha! I’ll definitely update the review once the videos are completed and published!

Wow guys wow… I can’t really explain in words how Memory Lane is. When I first met Ricky, he gave us a smile and is very inviting. He is a highly professional individual as well as his team. When he first showed us some samples of Memory Lane’s work, I was speechless and tears ran down my face. It’s not even MY wedding and TEARS came down my face. That’s when it sealed the deal. I kid you not… If you are in the market of hiring a videographer… Memory Lane is the way to go. It feels like your whole wedding is a movie and it isn’t boring to watch!!! They provide high-​quality video and keep in touch with you the moment you sign with them. Since we are military, they are highly understandable of the military life and we are appreciative of that… truly. If I had to recommend to family or friends if they are having a wedding… I will not hesitate to say MEMORY LANE!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you…

I knew that it was Memory Lane or bust as soon as I saw their work on their blog. I loved everything about the videos that I saw — the music, the aesthetic, the personalized mood and feel of every video were so perfect. My husband took some convincing (at first he just wanted to slap cameras into some relatives’ hands and splice together a video ourselves), but as soon as we talked to John and he saw the quality of their work and John’s level of professionalism, we hired them. John worked with us on pinning down a timeline leading up to our wedding day. Fausto and Edwin were our videographers the day of, and were professional, warm, and fun. After the wedding, Ricky followed up with us as we reviewed the highlight video and wedding video, making sure that the final product was perfect. Now, we have the final cuts of both our highlight video and full wedding video, and they are indeed perfect. If you are planning to hire a videographer and you want the best of the best, I highly recommend that you hire the team at Memory Lane. You won’t regret it!

The decision to have a wedding videographer was easy, it was almost a necessity for my husband and I. We not only wanted to be able to look back on pictures, but we wanted to be able to relive moments of our wedding. Our entire experience with Memory Lane Video was a very positive one. Ricky and John were very available and thoroughly communicated with us by telephone and email from months before our wedding to the day of. All of our questions were answered always, and they made it a point to get to know what it was exactly that we were expecting to get out of our wedding film. I must say all of our expectations were met above and beyond.
The days before our wedding we were given a very clear timeline, so there was no questioning on the day of. John and other memory lane staff were there on time and followed the timeline strictly. My husband and I were very satisfied with their level of professionalism and quality.
We opted for a package with a traditional film including all events of our ceremony/​reception and a highlight reel. The traditional film captured every single event of our wedding and was edited very well to flow so cohesively! The highlight reel is definitely our favorite! It sums up the entire event and lives up to the excitement that we felt on that very day all in just a few minutes with a catchy song. We watch the highlight reel over and over! I know we will watch this countless amounts of times in the future and we are so happy to have something for our family members, friends, and future children to enjoy and remember!

John and his Memory Lane video staffs we’re professionals, knowledgeable, and organized. They were very friendly, responsive to our needs and didn’t get in our way while filming the video of our event. The Same Day Edit was spectacular and had captured the beauty, romance and excitement of our wedding day. The quality of their work is exceptional and beyond. We can’t wait to see the rest of our entire video and our Highlight film video that had mesmerized us on our special day. We couldn’t ask for a better videographer to film and share our wedding event and the greatest adventure of our lives.

My wife and I were planning to skip on a videographer, but last minute we came across some extra funds. So we decided to splurge on video service and we were extremely happy we did. We got married this past April and we didn’t start looking into a videographer until late Feb/​Mar. We decided on Memory Lane based on the the quality of work shown in examples and the product being provided (we checked with other competitors and were offered a 15min highlight video for $ 1000+ from one company).
From the beginning, Ricky was efficient and professional accommodating to the tight deadline. He made the paperwork process effortless (I thought it might be harder as this was a destination wedding for us). Leading to our wedding day, Ricky and his crew explained the entire process and how they would be working throughout the day. It was great being prepared and knowing everything prior to the event. On the day, the 2 videographers were awesome! Great to work with and very personable. From the start you could tell these guys were seasoned pros and knew what they were doing. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Needless to say the event went smoothly and was so memeorable. In less than a few months we got the finished product. It was everything we wanted and more. The edited footage was a high quality produced video and not a cheesy video that was just captured by a company w/​HD cameras. The parts of the Q&A section weaved into the video was such a nice touch (you’ll understand when you hire these guys). As a previous art major who has done video editing, trust me countless hours are taken to produce a finished product and these guys are top notch.
If you are thinking twice about going with Memory Lance, do yourself a favor and don’t. Just go with them and you won’t be disappointed. 5 stars across the board from customer service, great staff, and top quality work.

Videography is often a wedding element that people neglect because of budget — but it’s so worth it! Skip the favors and the 6 foot tall cake and splurge on the video — you will treasure it forever!
The team from Memory Lane was awesome to work with. They captured all of the special moments that we will always think fondly of — but most of the time, we could hardly tell they were there! They made the day stress-​free, and were not intrusive when trying to get their footage. We were very impressed by the Memory Lane team, and ultimately, the work they produced. I’m not sure if it’s special equipment, lighting or just plain magic, but the Memory Lane team made us look flawless in the video! We felt like movie stars. Thanks again, Memory Lane :)

So far so good! I was initially working with Ricky and Nikki to do all the pricing and they were great since they worked with my budget and were very informational when they met with us online. But it wasn’t until we worked with John that we were truly impressed! John was so professional on our wedding day (March 22). Him and his assistant (Lily?) were like ninjas. I didn’t even notice them until i was actually trying to find them. I will review again after we see the video, but so far we are EXTREMELY happy with our choice. I can’t wait to see the final product!!!

After choosing and securing my other vendors for my fast approaching wedding, my fiancée and I wanted to book a videographer for our special night. Looking at some recommendations from other vendors, we decided on Memory Lane Video for our wedding. John, Ricky, and Nikki took the time to sit down with me and really show me what sets them apart and the stunning work they do. They take great pride in their product and it comes out in their films.
I was immediately impressed. They offered me a wide range of packages to choose from to meet my budget and were very quick to follow up with my emails and phone calls.

I want to first start off by saying that my experience with John and the film crew at the wedding was excellent and if I had only interacted with them I would have given them all five stars without a second thought. However, it is my experience with Ricky that has earned this rating. I do feel that he is extremely rude and lacks the interpersonal skills needed to deal with customers. I would recommend going to the pros; they are professional, courteous, and never too busy to contact their brides.

They are not videographers — they are movie producers.
Memory Lane was a huge splurge for us. But we thought a video of our wedding would last forever and we were so impressed with Memory Lane that we decided to go for it. It was worth every penny. We literally have a movie of our wedding. I have seen countless other wedding videos and there is no comparison. These people are professional movie editors — not schmucks with a camera. They splice all of the special moments together with your thoughts as the day progresses. They also have fantastic taste in music. We will watch our movie forever, and will always be able to relive the feelings because of how Memory Lane formats their movies. In a word — awesome.

A wedding is the most memorable day of a couple’s life. That is why I decided to go with Memory lane video. I’ve been in the wedding industry for over twelve years and I’ve seen many videograhers come and go. The day that I was proposed to I knew I was going to hire them to capture my special memories. Their dedication, quality in work, and attention to detail is what stands them out from others. Ricky, John, and the rest of the staff at MLV are amazing. The video was better than I expected and I would definitely recommend them to all Brides.

My company hired Memory Lane Video to produce several hands-​on product demonstration videos. They are way above the average freelancer in terms of professionalism. Some examples of that are… Dedicated project manager (Ricky), high quality filming (1080p), clean editing, and excellent value.

Memory Lane did both my daughters Save The Date video and her wedding. They are cutting edge in everything they do. Everyone should have professional video of their wedding done and Memory Lane is one of the best companies in the wedding industry throughout Vegas and the US.

Ricky, John, and the whole team are outstanding! As soon as we saw their work, we knew we found the right guys to capture our wedding day.
They had a crew consisting of three men videotaping our big day and I didn’t even know they were there. The only time I knew they were there was when they approached us to take our interviews. We didn’t feel uncomfortable having them there especially while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. You would probably think they are pricey but it’s well worth the investment.
So we just picked up our wedding video and they did an incredible job. We are extremely pleased with the outcome! I just want to watch my video over and over again. It’s as if I’m reliving that moment all over again!
