History

Established in 1984.

Las Vegas Balloon Rides began as a hobby back in 1984 and quickly turned into a well respected business. We have had several corperate balloon advertising programs that operated nationally as well as locally. When you call LVBR, you get someone in Las Vegas and in the same time zone that makes rescheduling much easier when neccissary.

Meet the Business Owner

Doug C.

Business Owner

Doug Campbell was born and raised in Las Vegas. While in high school, he was dating a girl who’s father was crewing for the first balloonist in Las Vegas. He crewed for 14 years while learning how to fly. Doug got his F.A.A. licence in 1984 for «commercially rated, lighter than air» certificate. Since then, Doug has traveled around the United States flying his balloons and has been to France twice and Mexico once. During this time, he has won many competitive events as well as teaching his son, Doug II, how to fly balloons. Doug II has become a vital addition to the operation of LVBR giving the older Doug some needed time off from time to time. As in most businesses, he started with one smaller size balloon capable of flying 2 passengers and has increased his fleet to 8 balloons with the largest balloon capable of carrying up to 16 passengers.
