Acura of Las Vegas

I financed my car from Acura about 2 years ago and I like it for the most part but after getting my vehicle side swiped within the first month of having it, I was informed by the repair guy that my vehicle had been in a head on collision. Also the damage was on the opposite side of the side swipe so da mage had to happen prior to me buying it and that the reenforment bar had been damaged. Acura did not inform me of this before i bought the vehicle nor was it in the carfax. The owner before me was assumed to have wrecked the vehicle and went to a private repair shop, failing to report the collision. When i contacted acura of las vegas. They said by law they are not required to take apart the vehicle unless damage os reported on the carfax and offered no help in repair. I will have to dish out atleast 1,000 dollars to repair this. I understand them not thinking they are responsible but I just want to warn people to be careful when purchasing a seemingly perfect vehicle from any dealership.

I would never buy another Acura ever again especially from Acura of Las vegas. When it comes to a problem, they will deny and brush you off to Client services. What type of customer service is that!!!
I originally bought my TSX back in Orange County. No problems there. Once I moved out to Vegas there were little issues here and there. A couple of recalls on the tubing and other little replacements. Every time I brought my car in the Acura of Las Vegas was for some sort of service and maintenance. The biggest issue was the passenger airbag was tearing along the seam on the dashboard. You can seen the outline of the entire airbag on the passenger side. I called up Acura and they scheduled an appointment for me to get it fixed. After I got my car back, they explained to me that they had to replace my entire dash to fix it. And that it’s covered under my warranty. I said no problem. When I took my car in to get the yearly smog a year after getting my dash replaced to jiffy lube, I was told that I didn’t have a VIN number on my dash and that I can’t get smog at any location except for a specific smog center somewhere in Vegas. They said call up Acura to see if they will replace it. Well called up Acura and they basically said that they cannot reprint a VIN because it’s «not legal» and that VIN cannot be duplicated to prevent fraud and theft. It all made sense. I said, «ok so what’s going to happen when I need to get my car smog or anything?» The guy I spoke to said don’t worry. There are other VIN numbers all over the car so I would never have a problem. Again, I am thinking that everything makes sense. It has been since 2009 since this issue first arise. Now I am having issues again. I can’t resell my car or anything because I do not have a VIN on my dash. I called up acura and they said they have no record of replacing my dash. Hmm that’s funny because I still have all the paperwork in my car literally right now. The guy who helped me put me on hold for some time and said actually yes they have the record. He again restated what the first guy told me in 2010 that they cannot replace VIN. I am hearing from Carmax that there is no laws stating that they cannot reprint a VIN and that acura may be trying to trap me to stay with them only. The gentleman who was «helping» me could not answer anything and just referred me to Client services. Good job on taking care of your customers and now making me a hater of Acura. Love the car but hate the service they provide. I definitely would go for Lexus now once I can get this stupid VIN issue situated.
Everyone, please learn from my mistake and stupidity and do not allow this to happen to you!

I recently bought a car from SEAN at Las Vegas Acura. I absolutely love my car «2016 MDX». I negotiated my trade in and the price of the car over several phone calls while my wife dealt with the finance manager at Findlay Acura in Henderson. I told him exactly what I wanted and he gave me a great price with NO HASSLE. I walked out of Findlay and drove to Las Vegas to pick up my car. Seriously I was there less than an hour with trade in and New car in hand. Best car buying experience EVER! Thanks Sean! My other review on the dealership I walked out is on my account.

We purchased an Acura MDX at Mike Hale Acura in SLC in 2011 (ABSOLUTELY A 5-​STAR EXPERIENCE). We updated to a new 2015 MDX last fall (purchase experience was excellent, what is happening now earned this review), and made our purchase at Acura of Las Vegas partially because they offered «free car washes for life»…“stop in any time for a quick wash on us!” Today, that free wash took over an hour. And that’s because I asked them to just give my car back. The service manager told me «well, car washes are free, and we are busy back there.» Then he tried to become argumentative with me, so I told him I wasn’t here to argue, just to get a car wash and walked away. I got my car, dripping wet, not even vacuumed inside. And they didn’t know where my keys were! Another five minutes to find those, and I was out of there. So frustrating.
Side note, this experience came less than a week after my wife was told she needed the filter on the vehicle changed, at a cost of $ 190! She called me, and I said absolutely not. I ordered the filter online, and it took me less than 2 minutes to install it, at a cost of $ 40, including shipping.
I’m about to trade my Mercedes for something newer. My wife says I should just get a new one. I was thinking Acura, but it’s becoming more clear that maybe I should look around before buying another one at Acura of Las Vegas.

Eric is a fantastic salesperson and I highly recommend him! I actually started my buying experience at Findlay Acura where I was treated as a number and not an individual. I left there unsure about buying an Acura and I definitely didn’t want to give them my money because the salesperson was more interested in making a commission than getting me into a car that I want. So I decided to go to Acura of Las Vegas to see if they explain to me exactly what I am paying for and treat me with respect. I’m so lucky I ran into Eric because he thoroughly explained to me all of the different packages and was more interested in getting me into a car that fit my needs rather than making a sale. After deciding that the 2016 RDX Advanced was right for me, Eric handled the process so smoothly. He contacted me frequently to update me on the progress of the shipment of the car and even called me to follow up to make sure I loved the car.
Long story short, I absolutely love my car and Eric for making this a fantastic car buying experience!

I went to this dealership and had the (lack of) pleasure of dealing with Sean. He took me on a test drive, showed me the lease specials online and gave me a ball park trade in value for my car. The next day my husband went in to look at the car while i was at work and the payment went up $ 200/​month and the trade in value dropped $ 1,500. Ha. No thanks. If I’m spending nearly 50k on a car I expect my salesman to be accurate and thorough in every aspect and I certainly don’t buy from people who do the old bait and switch. I almost didn’t buy my Acura thank to Sean but fortunately we drove to Acura of Henderson and dealt with an amazing team of people who made us feel valuable. They paid off my trade in in full (saved me 3k) and only gave lower and lower prices on the vehicle. The price never went up one time. Cheers to Allan, Alex and Evon. They were my saviors and I’m thankful that a month after leasing my vehicle I don’t feel any remorse whatsoever.

First I will state, I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealer, but my post is about the level of service received throughout my buying and search process. My girlfriend and I were looking for a TLX V6 and we happened to roll into Acura of Las Vegas where we meet Eric Shaatal. We felt right away that the experience wasn’t like most dealers, where you get bombarded upon entry. The level of service provided by Eric was A+. If it was something basic as offering us bottled water on a 100 degree day, or the fact he went over every aspect of the car and driving functions. He had knowledge of all aspects of the vechile. It’s was extremely refreshing to speak with a car salesman that was honest and willing to tell the truth about a vehicle rather than lying to get a sale. We had a thorough test drive throughout the Las Vegas area to gauge the drive on several surfaces. After all was said and done we made the decision to think about all the vehicles we test drove before making a decision. We are still between a few vehicles but I wanted to share my opinion on this dealership and our sales rep Eric. If you’re ever in the market for an Acura please make sure you stop by Acura of Las Vegas and make sure you ask for Eric.

Manager name Luke was ridiculously rude.
He got very angry because we didn’t take his deal.
He furiously crumpled up the paper work in front of us and walked away. I honestly think he has anger issues.
Never going back there.

Recently purchased a used Acura TL from Phillip. Phillip was nice, although he made some promises that he couldn’t keep. The Bluetooth was supposed to work, but found out it didn’t after I purchased the car. He stated that when I bring the car back in to get the promised exterior work, he will have the service dept work on the Bluetooth. Long story short, Bluebooth needed to be replaced and the GM did not want to pay the $ 300 for replacement even though all specs and discussions stated it should be functioning upon purchase. Phillip ended up footing the bill for replacement after weeks of back and forth.
That isn’t even the worst part. As stressful as arguing with them over $ 300 was, arguing with them over $ 6200 engine failure is even worse. After driving the car for less than 5000 miles, the engine overheated and failed. This was 8 days after bringing it in for an oil change. The initial cause of the failure has been hypothesized to be due to the radiator cap not being tight. All the research I can find is that this is usually caused by various leaks or potentially a temperature gauge malfunction. Unfortunately, I am now out of a car two months after purchase and will be forced to go to litigation with Acura of Las Vegas.
I do not recommend this dealership to anyone and would strongly suggest looking at Findlay Acura or another dealership for used Acuras.

SUPERB! Had a very good car buying experience here at Acura of Las Vegas thanks to Steve Weymouth. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns. We took home a brand new 2015 Acura TLX after trading in a 2007 Mazda CX-​9. The process could not have been any smoother. Look forward to returning in the future.

Sean was very helpful. He was recommended by our lender who has purchased two Acura’s from him personally. While there he had two separate previous clients come in to see him and one wanted to buy an additional car from him. He has a rapport with many and cares about the return client as he has been doing this for almost 20 years. His honesty, accuracy, and speed was refreshing. We were not going to purchase today, because they were so timely, we were able to. I recommend asking for him if you’re in the market.

Leased my car here back in May from Thomas. Wish I had another salesperson to help but everyone else was busy. I was anxious to get a new car and proceeded to do it through him. I regret this decision til this day. I have had horrible experiences at this dealership with their management.
I’m sure there are other salespeople at this dealership that are more pleasant to work with but based off mine, I would recommend everyone to check out another acura dealership.

Salesman by the name of Phillip is AWESOME!!! After being hit by someone and no longer having a car for almost a month and a half… I was lucky enough to deal with Phil as my salesman here at Acura.
After being to multiple dealers for different options, who were smart asses and pushy as hell to make themselves a sale, I went to Acura to take a look at a used Acura I seen on auto trader. Phil was VERY HELPFUL in helping me weigh my options out between wants and needs and pros and cons.
In the end… I test drove a used Scion they had on their lot and liked it. He was able to give me a GREAT DEAL on it. NOT much haggling back and forth. Still in really excellent condition and under factory warranty. He took his time to help me look over the car, and explain and go over the features with me. I AM VERY PLEASED with his service and friendliness.

Again I’m impressed with Acura of Las Vegas dealership. Honest advise and fair prices. Been coming here for years and have yet to experience anything but phenomenal service. Thank you Mitch. I’m a customer for life.

I would go here over Honda dealership next door anytime! Service pricing is pretty much the same, better staff, better overall experience. Brad was knowledgable and helpful. They just earned a customer for as long as I will reside in Vegas area. Thank you for taking good care of me, I give you two thumbs up!

I’m a loyal Acura customer, used to deal with Chris, the sales manager and now I deal with Chip, both great guys! had one issue with my last lease, but it wasn’t the sales teams fault, either way they made it better. I plan on being a Acura of Las Vegas customer for as long as I’m able to drive :) ha

Service is always great and professional! I owned a BMW prior to my Acura purchase and I will say that the service at Acura of Las Vegas surpasses the service of their neighbor, BMW of Las Vegas. Thanks Brad and Jeff!

I was in the market for an RDX and contacted AofLV for a rather detailed quote. Cortnea, in Internet Sales, immediately responded, and unlike some other dealerships that gave me evasive numbers, she gave me the exact numbers in the format I requested. She answered my follow up questions completely and directly, and I never waited more than an hour for a response. I dealt with numerous other Acura dealerships in Nevada, SoCal, and Arizona, and Cortnea was by far the most responsive and helpful of the bunch. She’s definitely a 5-​star employee, and AoLV should be thankful to have her.
Ultimately, the GM couldn’t match another dealership’s price, and so I didn’t buy the vehicle from AoLV, which is the reason for four stars. But as long as Cortnea is with their Internet department, you shouldn’t hesitate to do business with them online. And because she was so good, I’ll strongly consider taking my new ride to AofLV for any service needs.

I give this place 2 stars because of the new car buying experience. I have always owned an Acura and never really encountered problems with buying a new car. I was referred to a salesman Chip, who by the way is amazing!!! He wasn’t there at the time and I wanted to purchase a brand new car, so I saw the next salesman named Steve W. He was just as amazing as Chip. He worked with us throughout our process and was incredibly patient with us.
At the end of our car buying, we had a bump in the road and had a huge misunderstanding about the price of the car. Steve W. remained professional and patient with us. When the sales manager, Chris B. came out, he wasn’t happy with us. He was a tad bit short tempered with us and made us feel like crap. It ruined my experience with buying a car with Acura, which is probably the reason why I am looking in Henderson or California to buy (has a much more competitive price as well). Chris B. was nice when he thought we were going to buy the car, but the fangs came out when we decided not to. I think he could have handled it a little better without being so rude at the end, considering he is a sales manager and represents the company. He made us feel stupid the way he talked to us and belittled us.
All in all, I give FIVE stars to Steve W. and Chip for always making me feel welcomed. They are amazing salesmen that will never make you feel like crap and never pushy.
