You’re much better off trying to upgrade your phone online. I thought I was pleased with the service I was provided yesterday when I got my new phone at the store. It all went very smoothly and they didn’t push too hard to do the monthly payment scheme. but then I found out this morning that my phone wont make calls? They never set up the actual phone service on my phone. All they did was sign into my iCloud so I could send messages when connected to WiFi. So I had to go online myself and figure out how to activate it! WHY go to a store with people if they can’t even do the job? What good is a phone that isn’t activated to connect to phone towers?
I couldn’t be more upset with the time I wasted. I should have just ordered it online and done it all myself. Then it would have been done right.

Awful service. I paid $ 100 for life proof box, insurance for over a year and 1 drop from 30″ had my screen go blank. The «cleaner» they sent me was a lemon in less than 24 hours, I sent that back instead of my original phone… in the period from yesterday afternoon to this morning, I somehow broke the camera glass (because I couldn’t put the original phone in a case — an otterbox I bought for $ 60 for the cleaner– without losing the screen for 5 to 12 hours). Their solution: we’ll sell you a new phone.

Our sales rep Yolanda Took four phones in as trade and used the money for those phones to give us accessories we did not ask for and had no idea we had to pay for telling us we had over $ 1200 in credits. She told us we would not have a bill for at least four months because of all the credits we had. Now we have two phone bills from two different companies totaling over $ 1000 each for phones.

We had some difficulty with UPS when they were delivering a replacement phone, which we were returning. However, Morgan, Connor and Michelle helped us and made everything easy. I’ll go there to get my new phone in a few months. Thank you for the excellent service. I’ve been a Verizon member for 14 years and this is the best service I’ve had.

Morgan, Connor and Michelle helped us through a very difficult problem involving a lost phone, and although it took a while to straighten it out, we were very happy with the outcome at the end.

Was convinced to lease a phone instead of buying it straight up with the promise of a $ 5 difference on my bill. I fought and fought but the salesman Ben Grapes kept saying he hated to see me wasting my money. Flash forward to my next bill and I’m stuck with a $ 30 a month difference for 24 months. The sales manager was extremely rude and said Verizon had been giving me «random» discounts and that’s why my bill USED TO BE so low… Switching to ATT&T and getting bought out of this scam of a contract. Bottom line… Don’t visit this location, as their sales people have NO IDEA what they are talking about.

Went in today to get my upgrade. Decided to go with the note 5 and even though they didn’t have the color I wanted in they could order it with two day shipping for free. Jerimiah made this process so seamless and stress free! It was a pleasure to work with someone who was so understanding and had valuable input to which phone I should get. Thank you!

Went in last week to look at options for a new phone as my HTC one M8 stopped taking a charge. Talked with Ben and he gave me several options including taking it to a repair shop for a quick fix. I did some shopping around and nobody wants to work on the HTC phones due to their design makes it hard to open up the ‘guts’ without damaging other things. So the next day I went back in and talked with Carl who was very thorough in meeting my needs and expectations of not wanting to pay any out of pocket today. I left with a new iPhone 6+ 64gb, iPad Air and a new UE waterproof speaker with no money out of my pocket. My plan also upgraded to a 12gb data plan for less than what I was paying for 10gb! Definitely a great experience all the way through to getting my contacts transferred. Definitely recommend these guys to any person looking to switch or upgrade. Thanks Ben and Carl!

The one thing they had going for them was that they were busy, but I was helped in less than 5 minutes. Otherwise, the woman I worked with was smug and unconcerned to lose a customer of 4 years, which is pretty much par for the course for every single Verizon associate I have dealt with, whether on the phone or in store. The only time I was treated well was when they lied to me about the conditions of my contract in order to extend it.

Just switched from t mobile to verizon… I walked into this store to buy a simple screen protector. What a mess. The lady asked for my number and said someone will be with me shortly. 10 minutes later had to leave. The workers spent more time looking at there computer pads versus helping a customer when they are just standing around. Absolutely funny coming from supposedly a big company. Instead of wasting time will go to Costco here on out for what I need.

Just tried to get a phone for my son and the sales guy Mike was really great at talking… not so much at listening or explaining. I simply wanted to make sure my plan lines up with the needs of my family. Super chaotic experience. In the end, Allen, the manager and Cindy at Verizon really helped me out and I think I will be happy. But my son left without a phone which was sad.

I’m disappointed to have to update this review and to drop 2 stars. Unfortunately, my account was edited incorrectly upon the sale, and I’ve received overbilling charges (the associate left my old plan in place and charged me for the new plan) for 2 months. I’ve spent about 2.5 hours on 4 calls with Verizon to remedy the billing problems. Verizon refuses to refund money when they’ve overcharged. They claim it’s not possible to credit the money back to your credit card, and instead only offer credit to your account. Apparently they are the only major company who cannot refund, unless you buy a product at the store and return it…
My experience at this store had been positive, but the job was not completed and resulted in frustration, wasted time, and expending more money upfront than planned. I’m very disappointed that this is how everything ended up.

I would give this store 100+ stars if it was applicable. The way I was treated in this store was amazing. Morgan and Ben went out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied customer.
I had been dealing with multiple others stores as well as customer service for over a month because my phone had major glitches since about a month after I bought it. Round and round they all sent me and nothing was ever done so I sucked it up and dealt with the crappy phone until I had the money to just buy a phone outright (as sucky as that is) That time finally came and I just happened to walk into this store and man was I happy of that.
I was greeted instantly and when discussing my issues with my phone and customer service, I was handed over to the manager (Morgan) and amazing associate (Ben) they went over every detail of my account to see what they could do for me. Poor guys, I had them in that store well past closing time. Well, they helped me tremendously! I not only walked out of the store with a phone (for upgrade price only) but also cases, car chargers AND A FITBIT all for what I would have spent on a full price phone. The people that work at this store are amazing and I will happily do business here anytime.

My complaints are more geared to corporate.
1. I have a ringback tone that I never chose, & this store just tried calling me once to hear it, & when it was a regular brrrrring they just shrugged & that was that.
2. I got an overage charge on my phone, but never got notice that I was near my data limit. When I signed up for my own plan, I was told I’d be notified before being charged.

Okay so as you can see most of the reviews are a little outdated… although I’m sorry to hear that other people had a bad experience, as of today things seem to be flowing a little more smoothly. Ask for Alex –he helped me. Everything took a little bit of time as the store itself was extremely busy, but the experience itself was a lot better than I expected based off the reviews. Thanks, Alex! Love my new iPhone 6+ and the great military discount I got as an Army vet still active for almost 10 years now.:)

I came from California to do business on my account with my daughter, store was packed with people, we waited about half hour. Ben waited on us and he did an awesome job doing everything I asked. He went out of his why to get us cases for all our phones that we would all like and then did all the transfers.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews, when it comes to customer service at the store. My wife went in there on September 15 to get our granddaughter a phone you want up spending over $ 580.he was under the impression that it cost a lot less than it did. And this was on a two year contract. You can imagine how we felt when we saw the Verizon phone bill. It doesn’t seem like they explain things very well at the store.

This store is a ZOO.
Entered the store today to be greeted by some dimwit who told me «two cell towers in Boulder blew up today» which is why Verizon PHONE SERVICE is down in ALL of Lakewood. AND it’s still inoperative as of 10.23.14/7:12PM.
And who would tell their customers that cell towers «blew up»? Boy howdy, that there’s some professional techie talk I no comprehendo.
I knew immediately that incompetent Verizon Store employee service would be a complete disappointment, and waste of time.
I even called Verizon Wireless Customer Support TWO HOURS before the cell tower Isis invasion, and they did not even indicate any outages. Left hand doesn’t even know right’s doing.
Verizon Wireless had BETTER CREDIT ANYONE WHO HAS A PLAN WITH THEM for their incompetencies, and inability to communicate with Verizon headquarters to alert customers of PHONE OUTAGES WHICH HAVE DELAYED BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, AND EMERGENCY CALLS.
As of 10.23.14 /​7:24PM, I have not even received so much an emailed APOLOGY AND REIMBURSEMENT OFFER FOR THEIR SHODDY SERVICE.
I’m inclined to believe this ill will on their behalf in order to badger iPhone 5 users to upgrade, which Verizon promotes several times daily.
Before switching to Verizon, ask yourself if you’re happy with technical incompetence, and ignorant employee comments, and complacency.

If Hell has shop set up on earth, this is certainly one of its storefronts. Too bad I can’t give them negative stars! 35 negative gold stars! The staff is incompetent, rude and unhelpful. They sent me packing with a broken phone and zero solutions. As soon as I revealed I wasn’t there to buy anything, but to have a problem fixed, I was instructed to leave and make some phone calls instead to fix my problem. Well, my phone was broken. I can’t get a replacement at the store that is full of phones? I have to call a number first? I’m confused.
I started out very politely considering after losing my phone several months back, I was sent a Frankenphone made of ill fitting parts through Verizon’s insurance carrier, Diamond Wireless (which I was told at the time of purchasing the insurance at the Verizon Store is «Verizon’s personal insurance provider.» Whatever that means). The replacement phone had some sort of episode… a stroke I think about a month after I got it (just outside of the 14 day guarantee of course). It flickered on and off, randomly shut down, dropped calls and had to be reset before taking a charge. I dealt with it as long as humanly possible until one day it just wouldn’t turn on for more than a few seconds even after pulling out the battery and putting it back again. When I asked for a replacement or at least a loaner, I was told it was, «like buying something at Target and trying to return it at Walmart.» Um, actually any purchases I made were all done in a Verizon store, so isn’t that like buying something at Verizon and returning it at, well, Verizon? The Target-​Walmart Philosopher then proceeded to call me «Ma’am» repeatedly in that tone people use when what they really want to say is «Bitch» when I was firm and refused to take his nonsense as an acceptable answer. This was ultimately a waste of my energy because I never got any answers that made sense and ended up leaving confused and frustrated. That guy did get one thing right: his place of employment is totally the Walmart of Verizon stores.
I ended up visiting the Verizon Kiosk in Colorado Mills immediately after and walked out with a new phone, but at a healthy expense through their «Edge Plan» since this would have been my 2^nd insurance claim in a year which apparently renders me intelligible for coverage. They gave me a box to mail my Frankenphone back in with no instructions or address to return it (a pleasant surprise which I discovered later at home) and was told I would be charged full retail price of the phone if I didn’t mail it back. Oh, you mean full retail price of this scrap metal you pieced together off the floor of your evil lair? How much is that worth? $ 500 you say? Oh, alright. Also, why exactly do I have to take the time to go to the post office to mail this back when I’m AT A VERIZON STORE? Anyway, I had to make a second trip back to the store the other day to get a mailing label for Frankenphone’s ride back to the lair. Since their website is about as friendly to navigate as the DMV, I was unsuccessful finding the info online. The guy who «helped» me pay more money last time and «helped» me think I left with a deal met me with a, «Huh. That’s strange… well, the good news is we just so happen to be printing out mailing labels right now!» Great, thanks guy. And thank you, Verizon. I’m so happy I’ve given you thousands of dollars of the money I don’t have to work hard for at all.
Oh, and PS… my new phone has broken pieces inside the charging port. I’m looking forward to our next enchanting encounter, Verizon. I’m sure you feel the same way.

I can’t believe I’m forced to even give them one star. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I truly regret switching from AT&T.
I walked into the store fully prepared to sign a contract, buy an iPhone and leave with a smile and a new toy! Unfortunately I was not greeted (everybody else was) and once I approached the dude with the tablet he reluctantly helped me after hearing that my boyfriend wanted to pay for the phone with a credit card from Utah he said no they could not do that, then called over another rep who said the same thing and then the manager (a tall blonde guy) who confirmed that no they could not accommodate us. I would have paid for the phone out of pocket! They were just so rude and never offered any assistance or way to resolve the matter effectively. Nor were they apologetic! I went out and sat in my car in tears of frustration on the phone with my BF cursing my decision to join his family plan to save money instead of just sticking with my current plan.
So we ordered a phone from customer care who filed several complaints about this store, they over nighted it for free and I was happy when it arrived. Not even 24 hours later the brand new phone’s screen starts to flicker and seize up. Of course at this point I’m panicking. My phone is linked to my business and I need it so clients can make appointments. Customer care was very nice but you have to pay for another phone in order to have another sent, we had already shelled out 200 $ and couldn’t afford to do it a second time so customer care recommended we try to switch out the phone in a store. However the stores are not required to do this. But they called this store before I walked in and confirmed that they would switch out the phone.
I walked in 5 minutes after hanging up with the phone rep and told the store they had a phone on hold for me. The rep takes my broken phone to the manager (same tall blonde d-​bag) and 15 minutes later he emerges to tell me that there is nothing wrong with my phone the battery was just dead. My response is «customer care already talked to you, give me the new phone.» What a snobby a-​hole. So he reluctantly hands over the new phone, doesn’t thank me for being a customer and I walked out vowing to never go back in that store short of it being the zombie apocalypse and it’s the only place for shelter. Even then I think I would rather become a member of the undead army then be within 20 feet of this place!
