I shop at Aldo once in a while. It’s rare something catches my eyes from here. I’m more into their heels than flats. I recently received booties as a Christmas gift from the in-laws and the size wasn’t quite right. Thankfully, they got a gift receipt! It’s been a mission trying to get the right size and perfect color I wanted! They purchased it from South Coast Plaza and at first, I thought I had to exchange it at the same place. I stand corrected. I called Aldo Shoes in Lakewood mall and Jasmine said as long as I have a receipt, they’ll be able to exchange it from their location. I called in first and Jasmine was able to check my shoes, color, and size for availability. Sadly, they didn’t have it in stock. Jasmine went out of her way to check out other stores’ availability in stock, still no luck. So I suggested to order them in and I’ll pick it up another time. Thanks to Jasmine, she did just that and she handled my situation pretty well. She was kind enough to solve my problem and she didn’t give me a hard time whatsoever. In fact, she had it shipped to my house free of charge. How convenient! I’ll be able to track it’s location with a tracking number(which was emailed to me and is on the receipt as well). It should be 3 – 6 business days. Good job, Aldo! Another customer satisfied!

I came into this store on a Thursday afternoon, wanting to return some shoes that were shipped to me earlier that day. I have been to this Aldo location numerous times and the associates there have been more than helpful. Unfortunately, the associate working at the time Jasmine, was very rude while speaking to me. I gave her my packing slip and order slip that came with the shoes and she said she needed the original receipt, the receipt I was given two weeks prior when they ordered the shoe for me at a different location. I told her I did not have the receipt but I do have the confirmation email and shipping/tracking email that was sent to me. She then gave me an ultimatum: go to the original location where I ordered the shoes or wait 3 more hours until her coworker comes in so she can deal with me. I then asked her, «so.there’s no way you can help me?» And she said, «no because I have to be on the phone and I can’t multitask when there’s other customers in the store.» …really? Really? Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I hope management takes action and replaces Jasmine with a more helpful and friendly associate.

Cute store and great friendly employees that really know how to sell you, but the quality is soooo bad, worse than F21’s(not employees fault). I’ve gotten a crossbody chained purse, large clutch, and pointed toe heels that just ended up with the worst defects. The quality sucks so bad, but that’s how they make money I guess.

The lovely employees are very helpful. They ask what style you’re looking for and suggests some styles that you might like. And can anybody say Shut up?! Aldo’s Spring collection rocks! I bought a pair of platform black-silver pumps and black platform caged heels.

I don’t know about you, these guys actually have a pretty good selection of casual/dressy shoes at Aldos. I was browsing around for shoes at the Lakewood mall, and it seemed like Aldos was the only familiar and respectable name on the directory for footware. So I decided to stop by to browse their inventory. I saw a pair of the $ 90 selections which were on sale. I loved the design, and it looked comfortable. I picked it up, and flipped it over, the price was $ 29.95. Okay, I m trying these on. The sales girl brought out my size. As she was getting my laces ready she slipped in some of the comfort pads. I tried one pair with the pads, and another pair without. They actually felt way better without pads! They are freaking Aldos! I figured they would atleast add some type of padding in the shoe anyway. So I asked to purchase them without the pads. As I was ringing out she started to rub on some conditioning shoe polish. Typical stuff you can buy at the $.99 cent store. I didn’t even want to know how much it costs. I just wanted the shoes. It seems like they are trained to sell a bunch of other stuff with your shoes here at Aldos. I don’t blame them in this economy! Either ways I got myself a pair of steals at Aldos in Lakewood. If you are around this hood looking for shoes, its highly recommended. And I m not talking about timbalands n k-swisses!

I bought the cutest, comfiest, all occasion shoes here. Listen girls… the shoes are lined in suede. Have you ever walked a day in soft suede? LOVEIT! I love these shoes. I want more. I need more. Don’t tell Husband, but I will have more! What I didn’t like? Dishonest upsales. I hate that shit. Talk it up about this pretty awesome conditioning lotion for soft leather, apply it on ONE shoe, and tell me it costs«like, 5 or 6 dollars» when I ask the price… then when I check my receipt at home, $ 7.49. She totally knew it was $ 7.49. I still would have bought it if she told me it was $ 7.49. Ugh, I hate getting all cranky over a buck-fifty. Wanna know what else I don’t like? It’s in a mall. I hate malls. Almost forgot! I have an Aldo bag also. Love it. I’m gonna go use my $ 7.49 conditioning lotion on it right now!

What’s with the no half sizes? NOHALFSIZES? Everyone needs a half. Right women? So frustrating. Anywhoo. All the shoes fit differently. They are really cute though! Some of them have the highest arch I’ve ever seen but it’s still so cute. My roomie and I went to look for shoes but no such luck. Everything was too big, too small, too loose here or too tight there. I guess the worst part, besides being teased by the cute shoes, was the customer service. GEEZ! The girl that was helping us was SONOTHAPPYTOBETHERE. You don’t have to be a friggin cheerleader, but would you please not look like you’re being tortured and offer some assistance? Some people just should not work in customer service. Work in warehouse or something people! :P
